Amazing Stay superb hospitality”
This is my second visit to GOA in last two years and both times I stayed in hotel shelsta, Very good management, good service, very good view with swimming pool, delicious tasty food. If anyone from my friends or relatives wants to go GOA I recommend them to choose hotel shelsta for better stay, good thing is... it is very near to calangute & baga beach.

Excellent location, Decent AC rooms”
PROS: 1) Location: Located on the main Baga-Calangute road. Walking distance from Baga Beach. 2) Convenience: Hotel provided scooter on rent for ₹300 per day. Things like Taxi stand, a small pub (called Baga Deck), a nice Wine shop etc. are all located right across the hotel entry gate. 3) Staff: Staff is helpful and would guide you properly. 4) Has a well maintained swimming pool, for those who care. 5) AC rooms have decent space and a balcony, which can be used for smoking etc. CONS: 1) Service: Service is not bad but slightly slow, maybe due to less staff. 2) Breakfast: Buffet breakfast is not too good, so I recommend you resort to the basics (bread butter jam) 3) Non-AC rooms looked crammed Final Verdict: If you want to explore North Goa and are just looking for a place to sleep, bathe, and poop, you can definitely go ahead with Shelsta. Expect more and you might be disappointed. Final rating: 3.8/5 (Location plays a huge role in this rating)

1. No Name board. Need to roam nearby around for 20min to get the actual address. Please keep Name board on road - Walkable to Baga Beach and Tito's Lane. 2. In Summer, Power cuttings are more here i think. So power backup should be maintained. Here no backup - For summer, go with AC rooms, as room will be cool even power gone at nights. Our sleep will not disturb. 3. Breakfast can starts from 7.30/8 AM instead of current timing of 8.30 to 10.30 AM. This will helpful for people who would like to leave early for sight seeing. 4. Pool is well maintained. Good hospitality.

I had booked deluxe room so all facilities we're good. 8-10 am free coffee n breakfast. clean rooms. good room service. but hotel doesn't not look like how it is shown in photo. swimming pool is not cleaned on regular basis. No name board to identify. overall grt experience. Baga beach is the nearest. you can find many restaurants, clubs, place for shopping, etc just outside the hotel. 🏨

It was nice place to stay near baga beach”
I have booked this hotel for 5 days during diwali holidays. Hotel is located at very nice place. Staff is also very good. I have included breakfast in my booking and I must say, breakfast was awesome. Only thing which I did not like is Air Conditioner was not giving cooling properly. Only advice to this hotel people is to change AC's in rooms. In short, for me overall this place was awesome and it is perfect and safe for solo as well as for couples.

Place was very good, starting was bit scared looking at reviews but its totally worth staying, Only the thing is they have to work on breakfast quantity and verites. also small suggestion swimming pool should be open till 7PM it will be good because after we Rome and come back to hotel we can spend some time in pool :)

Brilliant location”
When I arrived early am,I was given a room in the first floor ,I asked fir a ground as health issues.later that morning I was offered 2 beautiful rooms in the ground floor and asked if they had any at the back as you can hear quite a lot of noise at the front ,they gave me a perfect room .The rooms and bathrooms were the best I have ever stayed in before and so bright and clean ,with flat screen tv in the wall with some brilliant English film channels.Thr pool area is at the front and can be seen from the road which is no problem .but it’s a sun trap the whole day,and as it has no umbrellas or shades I only used in my last day.Brrakfast is good you can choose omelettes /fried eggs etc,cereal,toast ,fruit and Indian dish.If you wanted room service the boys were there within a minute or two ,even any problems with the room .So very good the barman at the front was always smiling and wished you well.All in all I would reccomend to friends and family ,but not sure with young children .

1. To find this hotel, you have to struggle since there is no board. We found it through photos of hotel provided in agoda. 2. It's an open premises, No proper security. 3. For toiletries we was given two sachet of vatika shampoo and two small medimix soap which was ridiculous. 4. Breakfast horrible 5. No restaurent 6. Room was good and comfortable.

Room smaller that it looks in the photo.. price is only for location not room.. needs to improve a lot in breakfast and dinner options.. dinner menu lists a lot of things but all are not available.. overall location is good but room not worth the price you have to pay.. looks(pictures) can be deceiving.. please be advised.. staff courteous and well mannered... Overall decent rooms but I felt a little overpriced... Don't expect much.... Facilities are minimal but manageable could have better rooms at that price...

Staff were attentive and highly professional. The room was modern and bathroom facilities excellent. The location was perfect for my visit, very central but with the karaoke bar and restaurant opposite- it was a bit noisy at times for my liking. Breakfast was simple but nourishing. WiFi was reliable and the 4G signal on my phone was strong.

The review that i gave is as per our experience for our last stay. We had to ask for drinking water from 2nd day onwards, usually they should provide it by default. Their policy when asked says that they change the bedding every alternate days which is not acceptable. We pay for Hygiene and not as per their comfort level. overall i would rate it as 4 out of 10. And we want some change in their rules. They cant be so blunt with their Guests. Our checkout was a requested as we couldnt get a return ticket for morning hours. however that was taken care by some minimal charge.

Hotel was good in respect of cleanliness and service, but every time you want something they say go to reception. Also if you are going by your car than be careful, the parking is very odd and prone to damage.. my car got damaged as the parking can only accommodate three cars, 4 cars at max and then if someone wants to remove there car then there is no space to reverse the car.

Non AC room was too bad”
The non AC room was just too bad for stay. There was literally no house keeping during our stay of 4 days. I complained of rooms smelling and the person just sprayed room freshener, and that's it. The toilet was also not stable and not working properly. Only plus point is the location ( very close to baga beach ) , Breakfast was average ( toast, butter, jam everyday + 1 more indian item e.g. stuffed paratha, pav bhaji ) and not as bad as other reviewers commented.

Deceptively advertise”
Photograph uploaded online are gr8 but actual experience is not that good. BRewk fast, if u r a bread n butter person u will like it, but bread too r pretoasted so if u r late bread will turn soggy. Cleanliness - Bed linen r not cleaned n not changed during our stay. Although they r suppose to provide in room tea coffee maker there was non and we had to ask for it. No hand towels provided. Bath towels were smelling they were not washed from previous use only dried, and we had to ask for a fresh pair every day, they looked dirty as well. Short of staff they managed the entire hotel including kitchen with about 5 to 6 guys. Swimming pool- time limit from 9am to 6pm. So if u with kids and coming back after a day outside u won’t be able to enjoy the pool. Priced on higher side. At their price better properties are available in Goa.
