From the moment we step in the hotel we were treated amazingly! The staff were super friendly, the check in was smooth even though we had to wait for a while because we were early., but as soon as they are done with our room we were handed the key to our room. WiFi is very strong and good, room is super clean and spacious. The staff even help us with renting a car. Nothing to complain at all! We are sooo happy with the hotel and the treatment we received. Thank you to all the staff in Santika Hotel. We really appreciate it! Hotel is just opposite pekalongan train station!

I booked 2 rooms with request side by side. We checked in around 2:20 pm and they only got 1 room ready, said we have to wait 20 minutes for the other room for it's probably still in cleaning process. But we waited for an hour and I had to call first to ask when can we get the other room.

Stayed during the new normal. Check in pretty smooth, and pretty easy. Room was smell of tabacco tho we asked for non smoking room. Breakfast was delivered to the room in a box. Overall it was pleasant. Thank you to all the staff of Santika Pekalongan. May Health be with us all :)

this is our first time at this hotel and we do hope it will not be the last. it was a really pleasant stay at this hotel. the room is beautifully and tastefully done, very spacious. the only issue we had with the room is (1) we requested for a king/queen size bed but what we got was 2 single beds pushed together to form 1 large bed....not a good move by the management to do this and please do not do it again, (2) the shower, although excellent, BUT the water kept going back and forth to cold even though i had it on MIX.....do check this please. the food spread was good and very tasty. good job to the chef. the selection of food is very extensive but mainly catering to local type of food with not much choice for continental type of food. the staff were all great, friendly, very accommodating and very helpful....though it would be better if some or all of them have a better command of the english language (for foreign guests especially) the pool was great. however, 1 thing i noticed is that the water was a bit murky....not sure if it is due to poor filtration or is that the norm for pekalongan water. do a simple test - go underwater with a water proof camera and take a photo....for sure you will not be able to see the end of the pool from the other end. i did just that and it was very murky. keep up the great job....just some teething problems which are not hard to rectify.
