First staff receptionist tidak ramah, bila masuk dalam kamar alangkah terkejutnya kamar begitu usang, kotor, cadar kotor, kamar mandi kotor, banyak sawang dalam bilik dan nyamuk.. teko air berkarat, wifi cuma boleh pakai 5 minit lepas itu harus tunggu 10minit lagi log in...dari luar sahaja kelihatan cantik..unless you don't have a choice..you can choose other hotel better than this hotel...only the location is ok

Low Key”
Oval Hotel is conveniently located on the main road from Juanda Airport to Surabaya centre. Also in easy walking distance is the Zoo, and if the weather is mild two shopping malls are within an easy 30 minute walk, or an inexpensive taxi ride. Breakfast had an acceptable variety with a buffet presentation plus eggs to order.

Nice 3 Star Hotel with 5 Star Service”
First time when I see this hotel at agoda's website I don't have any interest of staying here.. Because it's just 3 Star Hotel and I've never heard of it's name.. But because of the low price I decided to try to stay here for one night.. Even hotel Oval is a 3 Star hotel, I've experienced the 5 Star Service here, the cleanliness, service, hospitality.. So I decided to extend one more night to stay at this hotel.. I'm surely will recommend Hotal Oval to my friends..

Me and my patner stayed at oval hotel for 1 night. I read from previous review about the hotel many negative review about it. During my stay i overall is worth value of money. There is only ready one aminity in room but i call house keeping n they gave me more aminity (i booked for 2 people) withun minute. Hot water is working properly. For the room its old interior but clean enough. Air con is work properly but its noisy..breakfast is good..overall is worth value of money

great location, large room but a bit dusty”
the location is just so great, the breakfast menu was good eventhough i was having late breakfast that morning but the buffet still available and they served me with good service. i had a corner room and quite large but unfortunately the floor a bit dusty and somehow at night i can hear the rats were running on bathroom ceiling and it's kinda annoying. however, it's a good place to stay in surabaya, i will recommend that hotel to friends whenever they visit surabaya

Value for money on a perfect location”
being a regular visitor to eastern java for work, i am always looking for a different hotel for my stay. i would frankly say that this is one of the best choices to stay if your budget doesn’t allow you to stay in five star hotels. oval hotel has a good location, close to central business district and only 30 minutes from juanda international airpor the hotel staffs were adequately helpful. restaurant staffs were charming too, greeting guests and serving continuously. breakfast buffet included in the room rate was good. the disadvantages in my opinion are: 1. the room was clean but a little bit dark and small 2. the free wireless internet wasn't working well in my room overall, it's a good hotel for a limited budget

Very cheap compare to the other hotel at the same class. They even provide free breakfast. Near to Surabaya Zoo, even you can see the animal cage from your room. Nice and you can save a lot in your travel budget.

Very poor maintenance”
I travel frequently to Surabaya for business and seeking for hotel close to where business point meeting. This time I choose Hotel Oval for its location advantage. Actually its located at prime locations as advertised, along the main street to main business district. Just across to Surabaya Zoo. But whats its weakest point is the hotel much older than its age. Its corridor has no carpet, its shower was rusted and its TV still old CRT tube TV. It has 3 main lifts, but not integrated each other. You'll need to press up/down button 3 times each to to get served soon. If you have several appoinment or things to do or several places to visit at west coast, east coast, north, central or Sidoarjo, Hotel Oval is your right choice because of it located at the center point. Otherwise, better choose another one.

this hotel is for night stay only ..breakfast is large indonesian only nasi goreng rice etc.looks like indonesian must think it is main meal of the day big heaped plates..location near zoo was good but looked tired not much else to see in surabaya..hotel bathroom room 312 had rusty rail in shower..maybe they dont know of stainless steel was old very rusty and had tried to paint over.. surabaya is not a visiting city you would have to have business there to want to go there ..no english no expats..nothing to see..look up google to see..mad traffic do not drive...
