Le Semiramis is awesome”
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Marrakech Le Semiramis and I have to say, it's a true gem. The hotel may be a bit older, but it's definitely "old but gold". The location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of the city, allowing for easy access to all the major sights and attractions. The price is also very reasonable, making it a great value for travelers on a budget. But the real standout feature of this hotel is the quietness. Despite being located in the bustling city center, the hotel manages to maintain a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The rooms are well-insulated and the staff is always on hand to ensure a quiet and comfortable stay. Good clean welcoming hotel”
My friends and I had an excellent stay at Hotel Semiramis. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming especially Iman and Rislan at reception very warm welcome and friendly character. She helped to source a rental car and made things easy. Hotel needs a lock of paint and updating and some of the facilities were unavailable but overall good stay. The pool and service is good. Nice clean rooms with garden/pool views . I would stay again. Thank you Iman (lady at reception) for a very warm welcome

Run-down ex Grand-Hotel”
Generally there is value for money considering rates, location and the formerly great garden. Practically, the hotel reminds one of the deserted Colorado Overlook hotel in Shining - all facilities closed, 10 (!) pieces of bread plus one slice of ham for breakfast, hardly any WiFi reception and no-one to help you with ANY request. If you are ok with this you have a hugh Las Vegas sized pool entirely for yourself and an ok room with hopefully working TV. The upsetting fact is that they keep publizicing photos (breakfast buffet, spa etc.) from years ago misleading customers.

Rooms don’t have climate control units, when I requested AC(climate control) to be turned on, they told me that only when the Hotel is fully occupied that’s when they turn the AC on. It’s not acceptable for a ‘4 star Hotel’

Was bad experience every thing in the hotel too old and not working I had to change rooms 3 times because was no air conditioning in the rooms and was too hot wan not only me I met many people at the front desk complaining about it at same time tvs where not working at the 3 rooms I was in stuff was not to friendly will not recommend it to no one

Dont go there please This hotel is so old, dirty has all kind of bugs and aunts on the bed. Dirty carpets. Rude stuff. No manager. Door access got blocked twice. No facilities no iron. No water nothing The only good looking thing was the garden and then pool Other than that it was a waist of money I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

This is not a 4 star hotel, it is a 1 star hotel. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. As we enter the hotel it looks like a ghost town. I soon as we walked in the the hotel room we all started sneezing and itching. The room had a horrible damp smell, the curtains have never been washed. The carpet was old and smelly. We complained about the smell to the reception and they sent the cleaner up with a bleach in a spray bottle. She then proceeded to spray the carpet. Which made the whole room smell of bleach. The bed sheets felt cold and damp like they’d just been washed with water and no soap. We went down to reception and told them we were checking out and they said it was fine.

great resorthotel a short walk from the citycentre”
we moved here from another hotel we were displeased with, so semiramis had all the chance in the world of making a good impressing - and did so in all ways. maybe 10mins walk from the centre of gueliz along a street with several small and cheap resturants. the hotel has a huge garden with lots of activities ready like volleyball, football, archery, tennis and of course a huge pool - as well as some unplanned ground where they will probably get other activities when completed. a nice bar, resturants, spa with hairdresser and a small gym is available. the only thing we could have wanted was a few more degrees so we could've used the pool, but this is hardly the hotels fault that we came here in the coldest period of the year. if i ever go back to marrakech i would most likely check the availability here first.

Excellent Value for money-fab break from the hustle and bustle of the medina.”
My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights after spending a few days staying in a riad in the centre of the medina. On arrival all staff were very helpful, however I did find that they weren't quick to acknowledge us or deal with us even when they didn't seem to be busy. We were shown to our room after a short wait by the pool bar and restaurant (we were early) and we spent the rest of the day (and most of our stay) by the excellent pool. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. Breakfast was included and was O.K. some fresh fruit would have made it better but again it was excellent for the money. We ate lunch and snacks a few times and again they were O.K, nothing special but it was convenient. The hotel is in a good location, too far to walk to the Jemaa el Fna square, if you are interested in visiting there a taxi is advisable (there are always taxis outside the hotel). 30 minute walk from Gueliz, and some restaurants about a 15 minute walk away too. I would recommend to anybody looking for a cheap stay that still feels like a little bit of luxury. One final point, most of the staff didn't speak very good English, it was never really a problem, they can speak enough to get by, however you will definitely get by easier if you at least know how to order in French/Arabic.

The hotel needs a careful review”
The first thing we noticed that this hotel is not centrally located to any good shopping area and when you are on foot and the temperature is 45 c. It means a lot. The second thing we notice is the entrance to the hotel from the street to the main door to the hotel is becoming a rundown situation, and an eyesore. They say that first impressions count, unless this is addressed it can only get worse. We noticed that there was not a pamphlet haded out to us, nor in the room. The internet was not functioning adequately. Our location on the second floor was poorly lit at best. And the portion to our room was completely dark. We contacted dthe housekeeper for a alight bulb to be replaced in the bathroom and that was never accomplished. We as hotel clients should be entitled to use the dining facilities when the dining room is open, we understand the period of Ramadan, but it is not an excuse for the dining staff to reject us to a sepaerate location until the people having Ramadan have finished dining. We went out and ate in an outside restaurant. We probably use this Semiramis again.
