Really the best! Awesome!!!”
Stayed for two nights. Although it is a bit far from Kyoto Station, there is a bus stop near the hotel (Shijo Nishitoin) where you can take a bus to Kiyomizu-dera, Arashiyama, and Eikando. The location is really great!! There is a happy hour at different times, and you can even drink champagne :) The staff are also very friendly. I don't know if it's not well-known to Koreans yet, but there were more locals and foreigners. The large public bath on the first floor is also good! There is no downside except that the window cannot be opened. Really recommended!!!!!

Comfortable stay with onsen like bath”
Onsen like bath open until 1 am so even you check in late still can enjoy, room also has bath tub , super clean and comfortable stay. They offer lots of snacks and drink at the lounge all day long. It’s located on nice and quiet street and 24 hr convenient store just near by. Walking distance to gion will take around 35 mins , walking to nishiki market just 10-15 mins

Would like to use again”
The hotel has a great atmosphere, spacious and clean rooms, and a nice design. Although not very large, there is a big public bath, and the service at the lounge was excellent. I didn't have breakfast this time, but I would like to try it next time. They provide amenities such as facial lotion for women, and there is also a microwave oven, so there was nothing to complain about. The lounge service was delicious, and it's hard to believe that everything you eat and drink there is free. There are many other hotels in Kyoto that I would like to try, but I might end up choosing this one.

Quiet and relaxing atmosphere for adults”
There were elderly people, female travelers, and foreign tourists staying, all of whom had good manners. In the lounge, we were able to relax with freshly brewed coffee service. The coffee was very delicious, and we had three cups. The breakfast buffet had a variety of flavors and used seasonal vegetables, which was satisfying. The breakfast also included bread from a famous bakery, which was impressive. I would like to visit again.

Nice service, nice place”
The location is good, just minutes away from station. Provide all day drink, wine happy hour, night snack( tea rice). They also provide additional Tofu and vegetarian-can-eat list in the breakfast buffet. But they don’t provide real 4 people room, the 4 people room was added 2 bed from 2 people room so the space is a little small for 4 people actually.

Superb hotel that goes above and beyond”
Had such a great hotel stay in Hotel Intergate Kyoto! 1. Location is good. It is near Karasuma station and many other bus stops, as well as walkable to Nishiki market. 2. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Had a great check-in experience with tons of information shared. 3. Amenities are great. There is an onsen to use for free. Free tea & snacks & coffee everyday. Such a good experience. I'll choose this hotel again when I come back to Kyoto

We enjoyed our stay! The room was very nice, on the small side as is typical in Japan, with a comfortable bed and a great shower/bathroom. Complimentary cafe latte in the lobby was appreciated, as was the happy hour that provided snacks and drinks. Located in a more quiet area but an easy walk to a main street. Highly recommend.

This is from far the best hotel I have ever stayed in Japan. Everything is just so perfect: the breakfast, the staff, the interior design, the communal bath, the proposed activities (like the maïko presentation), its very convenient location on a very quiet street near stores, bus stops, restaurants, etc. Staying at Kyoto Shijoshinmachi Intergate was like a dream! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover Japan in the very best of circumstances!

Quiet and beautiful hotel at convenient location. Staff were fantastic, rooms were super clean. Connecting rooms were comfortable and great value for money. Extras included various food and drink offerings throughout the day at the lobby lounge, public bath and laundry facilities.

With complimentary drinks, happy hour and supper session, this hotel provided us a great service! They even got a map showing surrounding restaurants which is highly appreciated! Walking distance from subway station was just within 10 mins and there was 24 hrs supermarket and convenience store nearby! Highly recommended!

Never disappoints me and my wife even after Covid and all the cost cutting measure done by other hotels. Instead they giving out more perks for travellers with all day snacks and coffee in their lounge, how thoughtful ! Room is fine, plenty of amenities and location is definitely superb with plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance. Lovely 🥰

I will stay there again”
It is not located on a main street but in a quiet neighbourhood. You can find a lot of small food shops on the way to the metro station or train station. The room is very clean. I like the public bath too. The lounge provides free drinks all day long and some snacks in the afternoon. There is free burnt-night snack too.

There were many special services for guests, such as pour over coffee and local snacks in tea time, unlimited wine in happy hour, ochazuke in late night supper, have many surprises after arrived. Breakfast also had many authentic food to gave us a wonderful beginning in a day. And public bath let us relax after one day traveling. If I were traveling in Kyoto again, I will choose this hotel again!

The hotel provided lots of drinks and food starting from 6am to 10pm. You can always enjoy them in the lounge. Rooms are clean. Staff are helpful.

Very comfortable and value for money”
The closest train station to the hotel is Shijo or Karasuma. It is about a 5min train from Kyoto - on a local train line which is not covered by the Japan Rail Pass. Guests staying at this hotel need to take exit 24 which has an elevator from the train station, this is also the exit located closest to the hotel. It is about a 5-7min walk to the hotel, depending on whether you carry luggage or not. The hotel is located on a small quiet alley road and there are many many Izakaya eateries located only 1-2mins from the hotel. I suggest exploring the many small alley ways between the hotel and train station to discover the fabulous local Izakaya which serve great food. Most of these Izakaya have Japanese menus but a rare few have English menus. The hotel rooms are very spacious compared to many of the hotel hotels we stayed at. There was space for two beds, a decent gap between the beds, a two seater couch a decent sized coffee table and a luggage holder. This hotel charges 200¥ tax per guest for each night. This may put off some people however the amount of free food provided through the day makes this costs well worth paying. Breakfast is not free unless you've paid for it already however the hotel provides free morning, afternoon tea, cakes and wine tasting, yogurt and sample of different honey, and a great supper in the evenings. The onsen is located on the ground floor. It also has 2 washer/dryer machines in the common area next to the onsen baths. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great location and it is easy to travel to all the tourist sites - Fushimi Inari shire (15min by train), Arashiyama and Monkey park (30 mins by train), Higashiyama and Kiyomizudera (by train or direct bus ; or taxi -1040¥), Nishiki market (500m walk). This hotel has a great location and a great price!

Stayed in quadruple room. Room and bathroom was clean. We enjoyed the bathtub too. Love the free access to the lounge with free food provided. Saw a few izakaya nearby too. And it’s a short walk from Nishiki market around 10mins.
