Great Stay ”

Our stay was very comfortable. Good and a lot of breakfast - it was buffet so you will never stay hungry. There is also a pool inside the location, hot water in a real bathtub, a nice own terrace for every room, an air conditioner and 24hours security man (who often also sleeps in his position) - staff was very friendly

We had really good time stayed in Hotel Batik with family.

Oasis in city centre”

The room was lovely - comfortable and quiet. The location was a short walk from Malioboro street with endless shopping opportunities. The pool was in a lovely setting but is non- smoking which I was u aware of because the signs are only posted in Bahasa Indonesia. An employee informed me rudely of this but only after complaint from a Muslim customer

One time stay is enough”

Nestled in a secluded compound, next to a mosque and close to Malioboro Street, the hotel is operated in a traditional way, catering mainly for local tourists, which is also reflected in the choice of TV channels (only local channels available). From the room there was no Wifi access (said to be at its best from the poolside/restaurant, but even there very limited). Indonesian breakfast, but mainly cold. Room smells and looks old. Pool was nice.

cleanliness”

the hotel has excellent location. within walking distance to Malioboro. the place is very dirty. a lot of ants, cocroaches, and toilet and bathrooms were not cleaned. the refrigerator is very dirty and took 2 days to come and clean the fridge. I requested to clean the room, but they do not have cleaners. the bell boy who is cleaning the room everyday and he only change the sheets not cleaning bathroom and toiltets. I have been to a lot of hotel but this one is very dirty.

Good location”

Nice resort hotel. Feel like a village house style. Near to Malioboro street. However the bed sheet is not clean. Have some brood stain and they never change. just turn over and hide below.

Really loud”

The pros: it's really close to Malioboro if you're looking to stay near there I found it a bit crowded and the breakfast was buffet style not many choices but won't leave hungry. The cons: Well no one ever smiles there, I asked for an extra cover and the guy just told me to come back tomorrow because they were closed. I went back the next day they told me they would leave it in the room then I get back and still no cover. The pool seemed like it had a pool bar in the pictures but that was covered up and there is no alcohol on premise. Absolutely no WiFi. The room was really loud. You can hear the call to pray at 4:00 am. Around 8:30 you I'll get a call to your room asking you if you want breakfast... Which would be nice if I had asked for that... Then comes the cleaner of course. In 4 nights I didn't get a single good night of sleep :(

Quiet spot in the centre of the city,”

Bungalow style rooms. In a very good central locations. Large rooms, but could do with updating/redecorating. next time i'm in Yogya i would stay here again.

Good Budget Hotel, Poor Staff”

The counter man charge us 150000 rupiah when we requested for an airport transfer by using the hotel's van (10th August 2016).

Exceptional”

The Batik Hotel is fine and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the restaurant has been closed during our trip. But we have been told that it will re-open in near future.

Recommended”

If you want to go to Jogja with your family. This hotel is recommended. Cheap, good and also very close to malioboro.

Rapport qualité-prix ok”

Il s'agit d'un hotel plutôt frequenté par les locaux (nous étions les seuls étrangers), si vous cherchez un séjour pas entouré de touristes étrangers cela peut donc convenir. Avantages : emplacement proche de la rue Malioboro et moins de 15min de la gare. Assez mignon avec des bungalows et de la verdure. Chambre assez grande. Piscine très propre et chaude. Bon petit déjeuner si vous vous adaptez : uniquement du local donc riz, nouilles, viandes, fruits etc. Staff courtois et aidant si besoin, Inconvénient : propreté limite - poussière sur le sol de la chambre et petits insectes sur la baignoire et toilettes malodorantes. Ceci dit au vu des commentaires je m'attendais à pire, donc si vous n'êtes pas maniaque cela reste ok pour quelques jours. Peu de rangement dans la chambre (une vieille armoire que je n'aurais pas osé utiliser).

Correct et proche de malioboro mais les avions passent au dessus de nos têtes donc entre la prière au micro et les avions à partir de 6h sommeil léger s'abstenir!
