This was my second stay at Baron Indah. Last time we had some problems, but it was taken care of by the hotel staff and I decided to try again. That will be the last time. Again we had problems with the first room - no internet signal. Room service was abysmal. But the worst was the cleanliness: I dropped something and had to search under the bed. I wish I had not looked. There was a centimeter of dust and other things you don't want to know about. Disgusting really. It made me feel reall uncomfortable to sleep on a garbage dump. This is really unfortunate, because the hotel otherwise is pretty good and the reception staff tried hard to accomodate our needs.

Cheap hotel at strategic point and plenty of food choice on breakfast ! What a GOOD hotel. I never find others after got the good feeling to stay here. Everytime I go SoLo,, Baron will be my Home. :D

Best budget hotel in Indonesia”
This was by far the best budget hotel we stayed in Indonesia. They even had room service! Free transfer to the airport, rather clean and big room (with a window :)), big bathroom with hot water. Quiet and close to the Solo Grand Mall. Breakfast was good - although not so many choices for western food lovers - tea, cafe, toast with jam, omlet, cake and fruit for western food lovers but many-many other choices for indonesian food lovers :)

baron hotel has all the necessary features for a good hotel. quick check in is the 1st good impression. i also like the room. its big, nice and clean eventhough i just stay in superior room. the most of all i like its room. it has nice smell and clean but there is few details such as the bathroom curtain is abit dirty with mold. and limited parking space when my guess visited me.

The best breakfast I ever had with low room rate price (3 Star hotel). Lift were only useful for 3rd to 5th floor. Hotel position is In the heart of city. 5 mins to Sriwedari building by means walking. But,,, at that time they were giving room with leaked AC.. so, it is dirty inside room.

Cozy and strategically located”
My second time stay was not as what expected from my previous stay there. The room service slacked. The extra pillows and another pair of disposal slippers that I requested came late. Also when I ordered food from the hotel restaurant, the staff don't even informed me that they running out of the meat patties/bun. They only told me when I make enquiry regarding my order. No apology from them. I presumed may be I am a local guest. Nevertheless, the staff courtesy compensate the hotel poor service. I would consider staying at Baron indah as my last choice. Thanks.

Loving our stay in here in Solo. The location is great, you can find street foods and mini marts around easily, and it is close to public places and tourist destinations. Room was clean and big, bathroom was nice. Staffs were friendly. Moreover, breakfast was great with lots of choices. Worth the money!

very nice hotel. if you let them know in advance they can meet you at the train station and deliver you. the staff were. very helpful, but their tourist map is not good. be prepared with your own testaurant recommendations as the staff is reluctant to make suggestions. they c an call taxis with are useful in solo as things are spread out.

Good place to stay and save money”
Everyone was nice and completely available to assist. The rooms were average, and they fit the price. The spa was nicer than most, and well worth a massage. The breakfast was okay, but it was nothing great - small, average Indonesian breakfast with more plastic wrap than food. The bathroom had a killer smell at times, but plumbing in Indonesia is just always questionable. A good place to stay in Solo, as it is central enough to walk everywhere.

Good value in good location”
this hotel is good value for what it provides. the rooms deluxe rooms are well equipped. the only problem was the plumbing. we had very little pressure for the shower and occassionally the water turned brown and dirty. despite that we were generally speaking quite pleased. the breakfast was better than expected and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Pleasant hotel coping well with rennovation work”
The hotel is currently rebuilding its restaurant and function rooms. Inevitably this has some impact but inconvenience is kept to a minimum and innovation is evident in the temporary use of part of the car park for a breakfast restaurant. The room we were first allocated looked onto the building site but our request to be moved to the opposite side of the building was quickly acted upon. When renovation is complete - end of the year - this will be a good business hotel and is reasonably convenient for tourist use too.

i was stay for one night. the room is clean enough with the standard facilities and amenities for budget hotel. the service is also quite okay, especially for room service, they have quick response and service, good! the breakfast in the morning also completely seems okay with additional in traditional menu.
