Highly recommand hotel in London”
My family and I change to Holiday Inn in Bloomsbury 1 night to celebrate my kid’s birthday. The concierge and bell desk staff have been very kind and friendly throughout the visit. Making the kids feel special and welcome. Our room is first floor, no noise can be heard at night from other guests. We all slept really well and comfortable, it has air-con!! The location of the hotel is superb, book with breakfast included as there is a delicious range of food and drink which will set you up for the day. Loved our stay. And we are now thinking on there on next London trip.

There’s a tube station round the corner so you can get to all attractions in the capital. The rooms are a good size, Holiday Inn good standards. Staff are cheerful and helpful. We’ve stayed at “5 star luxury” hotels which aren’t value for money. The location is unbeatable.

breakfast was exceptional. room was slightly on the small side but decent for money. not noisy at night but could sometimes hear what's going on within the corridors. location was superb, 3 minutes walk to Russel Square. Located near historical places like Emmeline Pankhurst's old house and all. Has a Tesco Express within three minutes' walk, Pret's and a Chinese take away place. Cafe Nero in five minutes walk. British Museum ten minutes' walk.

I stayed there for one week in September 2022. It is located in nice quiet area and close to Russel Square. Our room was very clean and staff were all friendly. Only thing that I would like to say is that, I wish they can change the menu of breakfast within a week. Eating the same food 7 days in a row was a bit tiring.

Lacking Standards”
Our stay was dreadful for 2 reasons.. During our stay they had a sewage blockage problem in the corridor next to our room and decided it would be a good idea to openly clear raw sewage (Human Faeces) without notifying us of the work. On returning from breakfast to our room we were met with the most horrendous smell and had to negotiate a faeces covered machine which was left standing on the corridor carpet. We were then left stranded in our room which was also starting to fill with the awful smell. Unable to exit the room I called reception who suggested we wear a mask !!! what a joke !!!... I could go on but it still makes me feel unwell thinking about it..... This had to be a serious health hazard and probably still is for anyone walking on that carpet. The point is this essential maintenance was executed in a most unprofessional manner without due respect or consideration of their guests and most certainly left us and probably other guests gagging and feeling nausea. I will also add that on making a complaint to reception they first told us it was only once, until I reminded them in fact it had also occurred 2 days before. Other issues: No water left in the room and had to call/speak to reception 3 times until this was rectified. The breakfast is very good. It support person very helpful. The location is close to Russell Square Tube and Euston Station. Still awaiting the promised follow up response for our extremely disappointing stay at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury.

Terrible reception, don't get near this place”
Don't have minibar in the room, if you need to cool something (I needed that as I'm diabetic and need to keep my injection in the fridge) they will not care and will try to make you pay for a different room instead of providing a fridge who is very standart in hotel that cost so much and give so little. The receptionist was very very rude and also lied to me when I asked to see her manager... if you ask me, go find somewhere that respect the guests and not trying to rip them off...

They charged us for more money than we agreed on. Then they locked us outside our rooms twice! And we were with a 11 months old baby! The staff were terrible and the rooms too small even for two. Don't take it!!!

The location of the hotel is excellent, the staff was very kind to me and I had a problem with the room type (which is probably a problem of the company I booked) and they did not hesitate and moved me to a luxurious room so that my vacation was perfect

Initial booking details”
On arriving at the hotel the reception staff were unable to find our booking. After 25 min of checking the hotel reservation system the booking was eventually found. Agora had made our reservation under the name of MRs Ann, not MRs L A Mcnulty. After the reception staff had tried numerous permutations the booking was found and we were allocated a room.

The location is good, very close to Russel square station which is on the blue line, you can also walk the British Museum in five minutes. They provide the service as IHG standard. We stayed there many days, the breakfast is all the same everyday.

Location is great, quiet and easy to walk around. Rooms are small and very expensive for the cost. Bathrooms are tiny. Room for baggage minimal. Suggest rooms are for 1 person only.
