Hilton Glasgow hotel”

Very comform hotel

The Hilton Glasgow hotel located near to the highway which is the first stop from Glasgow Airport. It took approximate 30 minutes from the Glasgow Airport. Although its location is at the edge of the Glasgow centre, it only takes 10 minutes walk to the Glasgow center. The hotel room is very clean, tidy and sufficient space. You will find everthing you want at the room. Good price and highly recommend.

glasgow hilton hotel”

The swimming pool ,sauna and jacuzzi
Ive stayed in a few of the nice hotels in glasgow and one thing that could be better is the size of the bed. Bar also very expensive.

Our stay at the hilton glasgow hotel was absoloutly fantastic, from the moment we got there we were made to feel very welcome. The leisure facilities were excellent as was the breakfast in the morning. One thing is the bar is very expensive, a pint was £4.25 which is pretty expensive as if you walked up the road 5 minutes you can get a pint for ubder two quid! All in all avery good hotel and would go back as its very close to the shops also.

Good Hotel with spacious rooms”

Good size rooms, good location, late bar, friendly staff

We arrived later then expected at the Hilton Glasgow due to out flight unfortunately being delayed. We had a few problems finding the entrance to the hotel as we arrived on the airport shuttle. We had a smooth check - in the room was nice and spacious with large bed and moden furnishings. The staff were helpful and friendly, we were happy to be able to get a late drink from the bar and order food to our room which was a bonus as it was bank holiday so everywhere was closed outside the hotel. There breakfast was good plenty to choose from.

great hotel”

This hotel has thought of everything the attention to detail is fantastic we really liked the fact the bar area was open all day serving a variety of food we especially liked the flexibility of the informal breakfast snacks . Our room was spacious with big fluffy towels, open all

Well positioned hotel walking distance of Glasgow Centre. We found all the staff to be polite and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The bar area offers a good choice of snacks and breakfast options. Myself and my husband took advantage of the hotel brasserie buffet which was excellent although we found the table arrangement rather strange. The Manager in the Brasserie could not do enough to please his customers and we enjoyed having a chat with him whilst dining. Our room was fantastic well equipped nicely decorated and very comfortable. My only complaint was the Spa. The reception area is shabby. The therapy room I was taken to was in the swimming pool area it was very noisy and did not make for a relaxing therapy when I mentioned this to the manager on my return he acknowledged that this room was a problem however did not offer an apology or compensation

Great Service and breakfast

The hotel is clean and great facilitate. Staffs are freindly and the breakfast is varied. Sometime WIfI network is weak and hard to connect. The location is a bit far from City Center (by foot). However, in overall this is one of the great hotel in Glasgow and highly recommended

Good centrally locate Hilton”

Location, Fitness / Spa and Staff

Very comfortable city centre hotel in a good location for most, airport, motorway and railway. great swimming pool/ steam room/ sauna are and small but well appointed fitness all the staff I spoke to were great. I did not use the bar etc because I originally come from Glasgow and have my own haunts. The aircon rattled a bit but was not really necessary overnight so I switched it off, the safe malfunctioned but was repaired in minutes. My only criticism was the cost of internet which I was not prepared to pay for especially as I could see from my phone that the wifi signal was weak (there was no lan connection available), however, this would not stop me using the hotel on my next trip to Glasgow.

Comfortable and hassle free.”

Location, good staff, well maintained

The Hotel entrance was a bit challenging to locate as we were driving and it was not visible. Another difficulty was getting into the car park as the ramp down was small and very tight. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, very clear on the areas of interest around the Hotel. Rooms were well maintained, clean and comfortable. We had a chance to use the gym and it was well stocked with machines and weights. Breakfast was excellent and the spread was international, quality was good. Will recommend it if you visit Glasgow.

A pleasant stay.”

Location for Airport, shopping and restaurants.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton in Glasgow. It was very convenient for shopping with Argylle Street a short walk away. It was also well placed on the side of the city to reach the airport. Staff were professional and courteous. The rooms were clean and room staff very helpful and vigilant. We found a range of good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was good although refreshing of the foodstuffs on offer could be slow.

Everything was perfect!”

Easy to find the way if you drive, nice staff, nice rooms, clean, close to a bus stop for Glasgows red buses

When we arrived and went to the desk a wonderful woman served us. She even gave us some advices, for example to buy a two days ticket on the red buses around Glasgow. A fantastic idea! It was easy to park under the hotel. To drive to the hotel was extremely easy, because it´s just beside one of the highways. The breakfast buffé was superb. You could find everything there. We even went to the hotel´s pool and used their sanua. Everything was just great! Really a five star hotel!

Dependable Chain Hotel”

Cleanliness, Fast Check in/out, Quiet

Sometimes you really need a big, reliable chain hotel. My wife and I had become ill on a multi-day Spey River decent by canoe. We were due back in a small town near Glasgow the next day. The Glasgow Hilton provided the perfect place to arrive late, dust ourselves off, sleep for twelve hours and leave refreshed. Our only gripe was that the windows (on the eighth floors) didn't open, not even the tiniest crack.

Executive lounge

We upgraded to an executive room on the square deal on Friday nights,it was very good value we got entrance into executive lounge which was very good you get tea and cakes in the afternoon and drinks and nibble from 6pm,it's quiet and has a big screen tv plus you can use Internet free. The bedroom was very comfortable and the staff very friendly, our only problem was the security getting into hotel as the olimpics were on and the ladies football team were staying there,so every time you go out and back into hotel you had to Go through security it was worse than any airport security we have Ever had,it's a pity all the airports were not as on the ball, there was even armed police,we did feel for the ladies football teams it was over th top as we had to queue for ages, you get through Glasgow airport quicker, but all this was only during olympics I hope.

Hassle free, confortable rest and excelent staff”

Location, friendly staff and confortable room.

Excellent. The only downside is the in room internet pricing , nearly $ 15,00 pounds per day. Many other hotels offer in room internet at reasonable average price. Hilton do offer free wi fi at the lobby what is a plus, but should the price for the access in the room be reasonable, O would rather stay in my room."
