Like mentioned above, the hotel is super clean, and easy to get to/from with Izuhakone Bus and Hakone Tozan Bus at the front and you can also work from the Yunessun-Mae from inside the building. I believe all rooms come with a bath tub in the balcony so you can enjoy hot spring in your room! Public hot spring also amazing with men and women hot spring switch everyday, so you can enjoy different view each day. All skin care products are Mikimotto and Pola, very generous. Can't think of any negative comments really. Only I didn't know was the shuttle bus runs every 30 mins from Gora Sta. and drop off several hotels along the way, but it doesn't matter, it's only a short ride on S Line with the Hakone Tozan Bus, if you have the Hakone Tozan Bus, then it's included.

Best ryokan experience ”
Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the private (in our room) and public onsen baths, food was excellent, service top notch. I also enjoyed the assortment of iced teas available at the lobby . Staff spoke perfect English and were able to answer all our questions about the attractions in Hakone. It is also very convenient. It is next to the bus stop which brings us to all the tourist attractions. And it is within walking distance to Yunessan Onsen Theme Park. We will definitely be back here with the rest of our family members.

The onsen is awesome. Even though i got the infinity onsen on my first night (cannot enjoy the view with sunshine), the experience is still very nice. I soaked in the hot spring with starry night. Nice! The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The location of the hotel is convenience. There’s a convenient store nearby. Apart from the shuttle bus, you have some options to travel to the spots by bus. Last but not least. The dining experience in Ten-yu is amazing. Both our dinner and breakfast were nice. I may probably stay at Yen-yu if I visit Hakone again.

Value for money”
We purposly look for a hotel with hot spring and dinner included. The Hot Spring facility is perfect, it's clean, with a spectacular view and well equipped. Dinner totally exceed our expectection and breakfast is the best one we had, you can even make yoru own sashimi rice. It's not a cheap stay but definately worth the money.

The staff there are just amazing, everyone is so helpful, nice and always offer fantastic service. There are 2 fantastic hot spring in the property and they will be taking turn to offer to female and male guests. Also the restaurant serves great food! My entire family are happy with the stay.

We got the Hoshi wing and the room faces the mountain! The room is spacious and has a cozy loft/mezzanine area for us to chill at. The balcony also comes with a bathtub. You can use their free yukata (in their wardrobe) and wonder around their entire compound. There are 2 public baths for their guest, and each has indoor and outdoor onsen, sauna and a cold dipping pool! Breakfast is international buffet and dinner is kaiseki (like omakase). Definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed!

agoda charged me more money when I booked 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel system treated as we hv 4 adults and charged us 4 adults price but nil side can adjust for me! Finally I’ve paid for 4 adults price for 2 adults and 2 children

Our first onsen and ryokan experience in Japan. Facilities and our room were very clean. The 2 public onsens, especially the outdoor open air baths, were luxurious. The star of our 3 day stay was the staff, super polite, friendly, caring, the epitome of Japanese hospitality. We stayed in room 824 with an incredible view of the mountain. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely go again. Only minor issue is it is a far walk to the town and nearest konbini if you plan on exploring but luckily there is a convenient public bus that stop right next to the hotel and takes you straight to town.

Perfect! Super good experience stay with Ten-yu. You can skip the walk by take the hotel shuttle from Gora Station. And just save your luggage size as they basically provide you everything including Yukata. Food is fresh and delicious, with plenty of choices. Open air bath is wonderful view. Just relax yourself and enjoy!

Buffet breakfast was really good but we had to wait for about 20 min when we went at 830am. Room view was great and it was nice having a private outdoor onsen bath too! Staff were friendly as well. Will definitely recommend :)

Mom and I really enjoyed the stay at Tenyu and everything was per the pictures on their website and the overall experience was just top notch. Starting from them showing you to your room and introducing their facilities and the food was great too. Dinner was an elaborate kaiseki course and the buffet breakfast offered both international and japanese food. We're talking about grilled snow crab (half peeled!) for breakfast. Of course, the onsen was amazing and having to experience both the infinity pool and outdoor onsen facing a waterfall, no words could do it justice. Of course, you could also enjoy the hot spring right in the comfort of your own room. This stay was worth every dollar spent!

Excellent Onsen and massive room”
Every room comes with a private bath and mountain view. I really appreciate their service and onsen bath. We asked their staff for tourist advice and they kindly ordered taxi for us. Their bath comes with an excellent view. One is watching the waterfall from cliffs, another is watching the mountain. It's really healing coming to this place. Will come again if I have earned enough money!! Definitely recommend to any couple or family group.

The view of the Mountain from the terrace is spectacular. and The lobby’s guests waiting area is nice too.There is a free refreshment at the lobby which is a nice gesture to welcome guests. The infinity bath is also amazing . I think there is no single negative side on this hotel.
