Room condition: ★★★★★ Location: ★★★★★ Staff service: ★★★★★ Breakfast: ★★★★☆ I am really satisfied with the room condition, location, and staff service for this price range. The room was very clean and the air conditioning was running 24 hours, so it was very cool and comfortable to come back to after being out in the hot and humid Hanoi weather. The location is near St. Joseph's Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake, so there are many tourist attractions, markets, and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. I am very grateful to the following three staff members for their excellent service: MAI / LADELE / Cherry. MAI was able to speak a little Korean and kindly helped me in Korean, providing a lot of assistance. Cherry was very proficient in English and kindly taught me when I asked questions about nearby restaurants using Google Translate, which was very helpful. The breakfast didn't suit my taste, but there was a generous amount of food and various side dishes and fruits were provided, so the quality was good. Conclusion: This is a hotel that I really want to visit again. I think it is a very satisfying hotel that provides room condition and service for a mid-range price of around 40,000 won.

We recently stayed at Hai Bay and was absolutely blown away by the level of service provided by Ninh & Tâm. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, comfortable, and truly special. Throughout my stay, Tâm was incredibly responsive, always available to assist with any requests, and even managed to secure reservations at a popular restaurant that I had been eager to try. Tâm and Ninh handled everything seamlessly and with such genuine kindness that it made my visit unforgettable. In my travels, I’ve encountered many wonderful hotel staff, but Ninh and Tâm truly stands out for their commitment to excellence and dedication to guests. Hai Bay is lucky to have such an outstanding individual on their team, and I will certainly return to this hotel, not just for its amenities, but for the remarkable service provided by them. Good location, friendly staff but poor noise insulation”
This hotel's location is excellent. It is within walking distance of several renowned restaurants, shops, and cafes. The staff are also positive, helpful and very accommodating. We appreciated their sincerity and cheerfulness. However, please note that their rooms are quite small (as compared to the photos). We booked a superior double king room and the king-sized bed took up most of the room. There wasn't any space for our pieces of luggage (we had 2 check-in luggage and 2 carry-ons). We ended up stowing the foldable luggage rack and placed our luggage on the floor to create more space for walking. There wasn't much of a view either and we kept the windows closed all the time. If you are a solo traveller, then most of the rooms will be just right for you. But if you are travelling as a couple or in a group, I suggest booking the largest room possible. Aside from the size of the room. the noise insulation in the room was also very poor. We originally stayed in room 702, and could hear various noises in the early hours of the morning (e.g. 5-6am) and at night. These noises ranged from doors opening, slamming shut, hammering, heavy footsteps, talking, and the kitchen staff preparing for morning service (our room was situated below the restaurant on the 9th floor). The hotel staff were willing to relocate us to another room farther away from the restaurant and that alleviated the noise situation a little. However, the rest of the noises did not go away. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest bringing earplugs or choosing another hotel. Our booking included breakfast, but we did not find the breakfast spread appetising. It was very limited and they did not have much left by the time we got to the restaurant at 9am. This wasn't a big issue as there are plenty of breakfast options nearby. If you are on a budget, I would suggest excluding breakfast from your booking. Overall, we felt this hotel is good for short stays as it is clean and convenient.

Book this hotel just 1 week before flew in Hanoi on 24 Jan 24. Stayed for 2 nights. This hotel really leave an impressive marks and I will definitely stay again with this hotel for my next visit. Big thanks and I have enjoyable pleasant stay with my family PROS 1. Quick check in and rooms are really clean with great amenities. Room are rather quiet considering hotel location are just next to busy road 2. Hotel location are within walking distance to St Joseph Cathedral, Train Street cafes, Hoan Kiem Lake, Friday & weekend’s night market. 3. Buffet breakfast located at 9th floor with nice view overlook old quarter neighbourhood. Breakafast are appetising with more than enough selection to power up the start of the day 4. Hotel are located nearby to many great food as well. To name a few such as My Pho restaurant, Bahn My Mama, Noodle and Roll and etc 5. Friendly and super helpful staffs such as Happy, Cherry and Long who will go all the way to assist guests. For example, Happy used her own apps in assisting me to grab cab to Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. Cherry answer all my question in related to Hanoi. Long will greet guests whenever he see one CONS 1. As for now can’t think of any except lots of motorbikes in Hanoi but pretty fun to cross roads without getting hit….lol.
Good location, helpful staff but street-side rooms are loud”
Very nice hotel and accommodating staff. As expected, our street facing room was very noisy (we were only in Hanoi for one night, so didn’t bother asking to be moved when we saw we were on the front side, though I’m sure the staff would have done so had we asked). It was too loud to have a regular conversation with the balcony doors open but earplugs are provided and the noise diminishes after about 10:00 pm. It does become busy again though in early morning (before 6:00) so if you’re not a solid sleeper be sure to request a room away from the street. Rooms are large and comfortable with nice bathrooms, and the location is very central.
