Booked family room for 4 nights. The room was so comfy, staffs are so nice, the location is close to the Keraton and Gudeg restaurant area. Have been recommended this place for my friends who are gonna visit Jogja :)

staffs were very friendly. and room were very very spacious! i went with my boss who liked to complaint about everything, but she loved it too! eventhough for breakfast there werent many option, but it was tasty, and also we can request for vegetarian food. absolutely will choose this homestay again if i go to Jogja!

We’ve been staying at this hotel for many times. Found some different on the service: No breakfast is provided Trash bin is not cleaned daily Mineral water are not refill daily Bugs (ants) on the tables Overall we still like this hotel especially its location and parking area.

super! griya wijilan has very clean room - even cleaner than those of the 4 to 5 star hotels in bali where you pay more than 1M IDR, spacious, simple buffet but good breakfast, good internet connection, complete with towels and toiletries. friendly and helpful staff. sultan palace is just around the corner, museums are close as well, malioboro is 5 to 10 minute walk, but not an issue since the museums are along the way. the only thing is that, the area is close to dining shops which only serve local foods (mostly pre-cooked and uncovered along the busy streets), if you get to walk along malioboro, better grab yourself some food for dinner already to save yourself from hunger.

Great location as it is near to many tourism spot in Yogyakarta city center... Great room, spacious, comfortable bed and toilet, quiet, parquet floor, simple but beautiful. Very near to mosque giving added value for muslim family like us. Will be on our top listed choice if we are back to Yogyakarta.

Reviews are right, found a gem in the heart of Yogyakarta ❤ Place is quaint, relaxing ambiance, delicious food & just 10 mins walk to Malioboro! Place is very quiet during the night so sleep is sweet 👍 Staffs are very accommodating including their cute house cat who helped check us in while checking if we are okay in the room 😍 What more can you ask? Nice hotel”
So happy i found this hotel! As my expectation based on the pics. It has a great ambience, feels like so homey. The foods were good too. We can take some bread and coffee or tea 24h. (Unfortunately there's no room service so we bring it alone to the room) The staff are kind and informative (Mr. Faisal is from Bandung too, so we can speak Sundanese. Lol) The location is not too far from the central of Yogyakarta and shopping centre. But the water shower wasn't warm enough (i've waited a little longer) Overall this hotel worth for the price!

The best stay experience less cost”
Traditional Javanese style in each things surrounded with modern touch is the environment which I liked much. It's very calm and soothing. Dinning location is best as it's in centre of all rooms having fish pond , stone sittings , wooden roof , green leaves around and it provides tea and coffee 24x 7. Breakfast is very yummy and starts at 7 to 10, But they have provided breakfast with toasted bread with different jams even early morning like 3 AM when we started from hotel to see sun rise each day. This is all because of the friendly staffs who understands our needs. We went without booking a Taxi but we had our plans for each day . Hotel reception staff Azis helped in getting a very good driver (JOko) with taxi taking us to many remote places as we planned which cost around 1.3million Indonesia rupiah for 2 full days from 4am to 8pm with airport drop on third day morning . Overall unforgettable room stay.

Nice Hotel”
Nice and quite place, infront of the Kraton Mosque which is good for moslem travelers--they have prayer mat and qibla sign too in every room, This place near the famous Gudeg Centre so we won't get starving in the night. They provide 24 hours drinks and some delicious home-made Indonesian breakfast. The staffs are friendly and informative. The room and toilet are clean, without bad smell. Suitable for you who needs to relax and love the quite place, but you need to walk a little bit far to the shopping centre Malioboro or railway stations. I wish they have hotel slippers too. But it's okay. All are great enough. Gonna come back here for the next trip.

This is a quaint accommodation which is great value for money. The room is comfortable, the employees are friendly and attentive and the location is central (close to Kraton and Malioboro street). Breakfast is simple and basic but it is reflective of the competitive price of the room.

Great place”
I recommend this hotel. Very good location for visiting the area by feet ( kraton is just behind). Staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. They have arranged the buffet breaksfast when i left at 5h am for visiting Borobudur. The room is spacious and with very good mattress and pillows. Wifi is working in bedroom. Breakfast is basic but tasty and everyday different indinesian food. Only negative thing is the noisy water pump machine ... even the night and the close by Mosque. But put ear plug and the problem is solve.

Great Place to discover Yogyakarta”
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location to explore the city and the staff helped with really good hints and suggestions. The breakfast buffet was a bit thin in variety but enough to get started into the day. Coffee and tea were available for free around the clock.

Amazing location, wonderful staff”
This place is really nice. Great location (inside Sultan's palace complex) and walking distance to both Malioboro and Prawiratamon. The best part is the staff which is extremely friendly. Great price for the overall location. It's near a mosque which might be loud for some people, but it's Indonesia after all. That's part of the experience :-)
