Wonderful experience ”
This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for decades. The staff are amazing and we will remember them fondly. All are kind, thoughtful and professional. The location is perfect on a lovely stretch of beach. The rooms and the entire resort are elegant and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, the showers perfect and the pools and swim up bar are fabulous. The breakfast was outstanding. The egg chefs are sensational, as was the fresh fruit and Indonesian chicken soup. We had many lovely meals for lunch and dinner at both restaurants. The massage staff are first class.. the best we have been fortunate enough to encounter. The prices for everything were very reasonable. We met wonderful people from all around the world, many of whom have been coming here for years. We can see why. We are already planning to return next year.

Quiet, peaceful and beautiful”
We have visited Seminyak approx 20 times over the past 25 years and have been totally blown away by Sanur. It's so clean and peaceful. If you want busy, noise, loud music and constant hassling then don't come here. We stayed around the smaller pool in a ground floor room. We loved the fact we could step out and jump in the pool. The room was very clean and the air con worked perfectly. The buffet was good but we found the busy times were between 9-10am. Service - always prompt and with a smile. 7 days of pure peace and quiet. We hired electric bikes from two doors left down the promenade ( $5 per hour ) and rode to both ends. Really good way to get a feel of Sanur and check out the restaurants. Highlights was The Sand and the Genius Cafe. Will definately be back. Thank you Griya.

Fantastic hotel & location”
We stayed in the new Deluxe Rooms & they were great. The hotel was excellent & the staff are very friendly. We have older children & while they had a good time, this hotel is not aimed at the family market. A lot of older clientele & a quieter vibe. The location is fantastic & it is close to a stack of restaurants, shops, & excellent massage places. We didn't have a bad meal in the restaurant & the breakfast buffet had a great selection. Would we go back to Griya Santrian? Definitely!!

The best hotel in Sanur!”
The staff are great, very friendly and helpful, enjoyed our 5 day stay in Sanur. Beachfront, pool is awesome, great breakfast with lots of variety and an egg station. We enjoyed the variety of fresh fruits available. Best location as close to Sindu Night Market, close to lots of restaurants and shops but still very quiet and relaxing area. The surroundings of the hotel is perfect. Lots of trees and well maintained gardens. Comfy beds and pillows! Management also great, kept us informed of what's happening in Bali eg.G20 and possible road closures and flight cancellations, etc. Only negative was the water temp from the shower head, kept changing between hot and cold, but not a deal breaker. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous stay at the Griya”
We had an awesome stay at Griya Santrian. We are regular visitors to Sanur and was pleased to see it bounce back after the last few years. The pool, gardens and restaurant were all lovely, clean and the staff so friendly. Rooms were comfortable and cool. Thank you.

we have just stayed at the Griya Santrian for the 4th time. It is my favourite place to stay in Bali. All the staff are wonderful. best location in Sanur. right on the beach. Pools look over the beach. Breakfast restaurant overlooking the beach. Beautiful rooms and gorgeous gardens. just about to book again for next year.

I have been to Bali 8 times and have to say this hotel was the best combination of location, facilities and value for money. It is a colonial style hotel with some new and some older style rooms. The bathrooms are modern and lovely! The staff are excellent here and the gardens are alive with wildlife (and a few cats!). We’ll be back ❤️

Great location”
Griya Santrian is centrally located near the beach and an easy walk to the main strip of shops and restaurants. The grounds are beautifully maintained and great to have a choose of 3 pools. Possibly could be improved by making one of the garden pools ADULT only! Upon checkin we were a little disappointed in the garden room we were allocated. It was old and up to the standard of the more recently renovated rooms that were near by. This class of room was the only one on offer on the Agoda website at time of booking. We asked if there were any other options and we were kindly upgraded to another room. This room was renovated and well appointed. We were very pleased with the room change and everything else about Griya Santrian. All the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly!

Best last minute stay!”
We unexpectedly stayed here for one night due to missing our fast boat. The resort is beautiful and from the moment you stepped onto the lobby floors you feel a sense of tranquil overcoming you. The lobby is open to the garden and you can feel the ocean breeze flowing through as it is just steps away. We didn't get to enjoy the many amenities this resort had to offer but the walk through of the entire property is simply breathtaking. The front desk even held onto our extra luggages free of charge for a couple of days while we stayed at Nuda Penida Island. Definitely we will come back just to stay here a few more days and relish in everything this resort had to offer. Thank you for having us. We can't wait to be back!

Great location, lovely staff, beautiful grounds”
We enjoyed our 4 day stay @ Griya Santrian. We booked a garden view room as that was what was on offer on Agoda. We arrived late and was taken to our room. The next morning daylight confirmed our disappointment in the room. We asked at reception if there were other options and they kindly upgraded us to a beach side room which we were very happy with. I would say the original garden room was one of the older rooms and no where near the standard of other renovated rooms in the garden or beach area. After the room change our stay was great. I would just recommend ensuring you have one of he renovated rooms.

Perfect holiday destination ”
Excellent location, many restaurants and shops close by. Also massage close. Rooms were a decent size and air conditioning excellent. Bed was a little hard if I really have a complaint. But pools were beautiful, big towels and comfy lounges. Lots of beach lounges also. Staff were amazing, helpful and would do anything for you. Would definitely recommend it to anyone, single, couples or families.

Relax and Enjoy”
What a delightful hotel, this is. The location is superb, the staff are wonderful, helpful accommodating and can’t do enough for you. The room we had was large and had great facilities and the hotel was fairly full however still very relaxing. Very clean and tidy, the food was amazing and we had a wonderful New Year. Anyone going here. Will be blessed and enjoy it. We will be returning soon

Fabulous hotel! ”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Griya Santrian. Location is perfect, right on the beach and surrounded by restaurants with the supermarket just down the road. Buffet breakfast, clean and quiet room - no complaints at all :)

Best hotel in Sanur”
The Gyria is so lovely! We stayed in a deluxe beach wing room , the balcony was amazing with a day bed. The bed was super comfy and room spacious. The pools are awesome and the staff are all so friendly and kind. We will be back!

Peaceful resort on the beach”
We stayed for 5 glorious nights in a deluxe room, our room was Balinese but with modern facilities, very quiet and we had 1 of the 3 pools in front of our balcony, the middle pool as its known is beautiful and peaceful surrounded by tropical gardens and Balinese sculptures, the whole resort is beautiful, right on the beach front with the walking path out front, you can walk for miles passing shops and restaurants, the restaurant at the resort faces the beach and the food is varied and very reasonable as are the drinks, staff are friendly, it's a great location, can absolutely recommend and will definitely return 😀

A pleasant place to stay with very helpful staff.”
The staff is very helpful, thank you Mr. Ardhana, he is very helpful. I stayed for 2 adults and 2 children, but I made a mistake when making the reservation. I made a reservation for a deluxe room which is for adults only, but I was assisted by Mr. Ardhana, of course with some compensation in the end I got a Beach Wing room which we think is more suitable than a deluxe room if you stay with children, closer to the swimming pool and beach. The rooms are very nice because they have just been renovated, the garden is very well maintained, and the beach club is very comfortable to enjoy the afternoon or enjoy the sunrise. If you like jogging there is a running track along the beach. The only drawback is breakfast which is less varied and tends to be the same for the 3 days we were there. Please be careful for those of you who avoid foods that contain pork, the omelet here contains pork so maybe please avoid it. Overall we enjoyed our time here.
