The hotel, which is tastefully made”
If this place were a dish, I would describe it as a “delicious” one. Really, absolutely everything here has made tastefully, starting from the choice of location ending with dishes in the restaurant (we’ve had a soft spot for local Soto Ayam, in particular), and an incredible hospitality from the staff and owners’s side had become the cherry on the cake. And despite we had hardly seen a majestic Mt.Agung in all its glory during our two-days stay, we were really enjoying the time we spent here, at this fantastic place.

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. Everything is very clean and with pretty details. The pool is really nice and has a great view. The food is good and affordable. The staff is very friendly and cares about any of your requests.

If anyone natural lover then perfect place for them.We enjoy each n every moment of d mountain views and weather just mind blowing..the staffs r very kindness and so generous..I love to stay again again but only problem is that on the way of the resort road is very narrow..The overall food staff and mostly views are awesome ..I love it..❤️

Exceed expectation!”
Room was big and spacious, we really like it! Bed was big and comfortable. There is no air-conditioner in the room, however given the cooler temperature, there isn't a need to have one. Nice view of Mount Agung and paddy field best view during sunrise!

Really Great View”
The location is not so straightforward to reach. But it really has a good view of Aging on a cloudless day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only gripe was that shower head water pressure was low and there seems to be se droppings from the roof.

All about the view and weather. ”
Not a professionally managed place but that does not mean it is a poor experience. Staff were kind and helpful. Visitors need to be open-minded about Balinese way of rural living. If the weather is right, and the Agung view is clear, it changes the worth of the stay. Mountain view rooms are best for this, but all other rooms are also acceptable to view the mountain. Other than breakfast choices, I wouldn't want to change the authentic experience. I feel they could focus on a purely Balinese/Indonesian breakfast rather than trying to copy the international items which do not turn out the best. Lovely stay. Memorable views. Great location.

Go for the view”
Another place in Bali that is super remote, but the view on a clear day is to die for. Be prepared to do very little or local things like hike, rice field, swim or relax. You need a hire car or scooter to get here , taxi or driver is $30 aud min. It's a great view, the food is decent/average. Rooms are basic as, bedding and bathrooms and overall smell/facility of the rooms. Staff are lovely, room is a fair price for what you pay.

Don't waste your money”
This is not one of those biased whimsical reviews that you might come across on the internet because of some purely situational r personal reasons. I am giving this a zero star rating because of objective reasons. No cleanliness inside room, dim/ poor lighting, no wifi, bad floor tiles, cheap bed, itchy sofa, no 24 hour availability of reception, couldn't even switch off our lights....it was that scary, bad behaviour of one lady temp and extremely high price per night. This a whole package guys....so save your hard-earned money and go book a real hotel. And don't go by the name because you gotta sleep before you can watch those great mountains they claim of!

Bad maintenance. Dirty room, almost no hot water. I paid via agoda but the receptionist kept asking me to pay cash for her. Bad service. Bad dinner, only value for the mountain view.

Bali paradise”
For any traveller who wants to experience the true "nature" of Bali, this is the resort to make that happen. It is not easy to get to this vacation gem, but it is worth the bumpy road travel through native villages. When you arrive you will be greeted by the proprietors who will devote themselves to your comfort and will regale you with stories and conversation about their beloved mountain home. The room I had was large with a large four poster bamboo king size bed and another smaller four poster bed. The separate bathroom is large and the shower is open to the natural surroundings(but completely private). The restaurant fare is home cooking Bali style and all the fruit is fresh from trees on the property! Don't expect a wine list but Bali beer and the local "wine" (Arak attack) is always available. Finally, the resort staff will take you to the many activity venues in the area such as river rafting, temple visits, nature walks and if you want to go to the beach or go snorkeling in nearby Candidasa they will drive you there ( 20 minutes). Certainly this ranks at the top of my vacation experiences. Enjoy!

Munim From Bangladesh”
Overall a great place to stay. It is a bit far from the main Sidemen Village but if you want to watch the true beauty of the mountain up close all day, this is one of the best place for that. The restaurants are open till 9/10 then closed but this is a remote area so this is expected. Nice pool with view. Great resort!

Quiet relaxing villa, base for mountain trek”
We stayed at Great Mountain Views for 2 nights just so we could do the the Mt. Agung trek, but wish we could have stayed longer. Nyoman the manager was very friendly and helpful, he drove us to the ATM when we needed cash and took us to the post office to mail post cards. He arranged our trek for us and boat ride to Gili Trawangan and saved us money on both. The food was fantastic. Great value for your money. Would definitely go back.

The Best View of Volcano”
This resort is the perfect place to view Mount Agung. We had a spectacular view from our room and balcony. If you have the garden rooms, you can easily watch the volcano from the pool, restaurant, or one of the gazebos. There is a large rice field in front of the resort, giving incredibly photogenic scenery with Mount Agung in the distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also made a day trip to some waterfalls that were about 30 minutes away from the resort. A lovely, quiet place for a holiday.

The best place to enjoy the real Bali”
It was excellent, we upgraded to the Frangipani room with amazing mountain views. We could not fault the service of the staff. The food was wonderful, we enjoyed the traditional Balinese food mostly. The value for money is excellent and the ability to do activities is also excellent. The owners Nyoman and Wayan treated us like family and did everything they could to assist us. We are looking forward to going back again, as soon as we can.

Secluded resort far away from it all”
This is a great place to stay if you really want to get away from it all. You need your own transport to get up there. Alternatively, if you contact them, they can arrange a driver to pick you up for a fee. That being said, it's worth the trip. It really is a great view, perhaps perfect, of Agung and the surrounding area. There's not much to do around the resort itself, but they have a variety of activity packages that can keep you busy. There's no wifi and Internet is extremely slow, so be warned.
