This is a beautiful find. Set in the back streets of Yogyakarta, the Good Karma hostel is a cool little place. I chose the private room with fan only. I am using air conditioning less and less as I travel. The bed is a very comfortable double, with storage underneath, and the room itself is based on traditional Indonesian roof design, although not fully authentic. You will have your own terrace with bean bags, an open-air bathroom, fitted out to a high standard, and one of the coolest rooms you will stay in for sure. For the money, this place is spot on. Highly recommended.

It was nice to stay here. The wifi connection was really good and had a fast connection. For the dormitory room price is not included breakfast. But you can also buy for breakfast about 25K rupiah. Mamak Ani is one of the staff there, as cleaning service. She is really friendly and helpful. I would recommend you to stay here, guys! Worth it to stay in. ❤❤❤

The perfect little space”
Good Karma is one of those lovely finds. When you are travelling, there is nothing better than finding a little gem. Good Karma is one of those places that you file away under "visit again". The fact that I am reviewing this place a second time, tells you that I did just that. I stayed in the private room, (Fan only) - with a private bathroom. The bed is comfy, the space is very chilled. One of those rare places where they have got everything right. Thanks for having me again Sean

Nice and a hip place for backpackers ! ”
A very nice and clean place in the middle of the small alley where you can hide away from busy streets of Yogyakarta. The location is close to bars, cafe, restaurant just 5 mins away from the tourist street Prawirotaman. Would recommend to stay here for backpackers.

A very nice stay, the hostel located in the small street and just 5 minutes away from restaurants, bars, cafe (Prawirotaman street). The staff Darius was nice and friendly. Feel like home. I will be back when I am going to stay in Jogja !

the hostel itself looks really nice, room has everything you need though if you stay in female room you can hear everything what is going on in mixed dormitory. Female room has its own bathroom but without hot shower. You don't owe the remote controller of AC so you have to ask every time from the owner to make it colder or warmer as at night it's getting really cold and they have really tiny blankets, you can take extra but for extra price. Laundry service and renting a bike are quite expensive. But it's quite not atmosphere in there so to stay for 1-2 days for such a price quite good option

Can walk a short distance for great restaurants. Room was clean but outdated. Shower was warm but outside (so is the toilet) so beware of bugs. Staff very friendly! A/c worked great.

de plaats heeft een geweldige omgeving en de sfeer. Ilo, Eda, mama Ani en al het personeel is vriendelijk. het ontbijt is nogal klein, maar het is goed voor een snelle ochtendmaaltijd. je kunt de gebedsoproep 's ochtends horen, maar het personeel geeft je een oordopje als je het hen vraagt.
