We stayed in the Gold tower in a room with 2 double beds. The beds were comfortable but smaller than what we’re used to (queen). We had a great view of the pool. Room was clean and quiet at night, so no noise infiltration from outside, we were on the 6th floor. There is no mini-fridge, microwave nor coffeemaker. That would’ve been great. Hotel offers Saltgrass, Chick-fil-A, the Cadillac and other restaurant choices which are a little bit more pricey. There are stores and of course the casino which opens up to Fremont, so easy access to the action. This is our 2nd stay at the Golden Nugget and the Gold Tower rooms are a little bit fancier than the Carlson rooms. Compared to the other casinos on Fremont, this is the nicest one. The pool loungers can fill up quick bit the pool is roomy enough, l guess people prefer to sunbathe. The staff were helpful and you get complimentary water in the room

While the hotel itself might be a bit dated, the price was great, we loved the location, the rooms were clean and the pool was fun. We also treated ourselves to a steak dinner at Vic & Anthony’s in the hotel. I had a mind-blowing steak, easily the best steak I have had in my life. We would absolutely stay here again.

The High End of Fremont”
If you're looking for a little something more on Fremont, the Golden Nugget Rush Tower is the next level. I've stayed in a Rush Tower King several times and the rooms provide that certain contemporary, upscale, comfortable something extra without breaking the bank. Love the staff. And for a day of R&R, rent a day bed at the Golden Nuggets world-class pool... it just might be the best money you spend your entire trip - it was for us.

One of the best hotel in downtown Las Vegas. Reasonably priced and very close to most activities - Fremon Street (concerts and street performers, zip lining, etc.). Plenty dining choices in and out of the hotel. My family loved staying in this hotel mainly because of the pool that the kids enjoy. It has a big aquarium and slide that is enjoyable no matter your age. Rooms are clean with comfortable bed, and nice linens. Front Desk staff always makes the check-in an easy process, and are always helpful. The only issue I encounter during our 4-day stay was that our room was not cleaned despite requesting the service a day in advance, as required by the housekeeping department. Advice for future guests, make sure that you request room service and follow-up on the day of so you'll get a confirmation whether it will happen or not. I will still recommend this hotel despite the above-mentioned issue.

Very nice stay, the room was clean and the staff was very kind. The hotel was packed for EDC weekend but the wait for everything was very short. Only issue we did have was parking. Parking garage was full most of the weekend but overall very nice stay, pretty cheap and enjoyable.

Fun Location Fun Hotel”
The Golden Nugget is an original hotel in Vegas and you can see the merger between new and old but I like that. The room is excellent in the South Tower and the bars are convenient around the hotel casino floor. It’s very simple but if you want lavish then spend more elsewhere. On Fremont St you are in the heart of the action all day and night. Stage music zip lines bars you name it. All in all excellent experience and I would come again.

All 4 of us were pleasantly surprised when we checked in at the Golden Nugget. Rooms were great, pool area although way too many loungers, is fantastic. The fish tank is a great feature. We will for sure be back.

This was our first time staying on Fremont and The Golden Nugget is at the perfect location, such wonderful employees (big thanks for the warm welcome from Daniel at the front desk), and bars everywhere. So, you may have to wait in line to get into the pool or check in, but at least you can drink while you wait!

I love this place, for the cost and the fabulous location and the cleanliness and the helpful staff. However, my booking was for a smoking room, Which are no longer offered. I have to go downstairs to the casino to smoke a cigarette? that was not my plan for the week. No longer a coffee maker, or microwave, or refrigerator in any rooms. That was not my plans for the week either, but I'm stuck with it even though this was all part of my booking here. Other than that, you can't beat it for the money in Location and what they do have to offer.

Staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Hotel was clean, full of great restaurants- I ate at Cadillac, CJ (twice), and Saltgrass. Casino was fun, people friendly, and the dealers are personable. I definitely will be back.

My sis and I met so many fun people at the pool and in the surrounding area. We stayed two nights and the room was comfy and quiet. The casino was fun. The area was superior to strip (where we spent three nights). Bands playing on two stages, lively area.

Exceptional”
Brought the grand kids 4 of them 8. 9. 13 and 14 to swim and use the water slide. They love the shark tank. We did keep them off Freemont street after 5 pm.
