The rooms are very spaceful and very very clean! You also have two chairs and a table on the outside to relax or to drink a beer in the evening. It’s very calm there and perfekt if you want to relax. Also it’s very near to the beach. Maybe 15 minutes walking. But the best about this place are the people who run it. Such nice and kindhearted souls who really want the best for you and your stay. It felt like home from the first second on because they treat you like very good friends. Also they speak perfect English ! I will miss them.

Very good location, just 10/15 mins walk from the sea and at an affordable price in Sanur, where everything is extremely overpriced. The place is neat and clean and the owner is a funny and chatty old man, who spends his life in the place trying to be helpful with everybody. Internet was quite good, no breakfast, but daily cleaning if requested.

Good value for being on a budget. Room was very clean to begin with. But room is never made up. Hot water for 5 minutes and then you needed to wait for water to heat up again. Small hot water heater! Owner did have hot water in a thermos every day so we could have coffee. Very quiet place if you like solitude. No towels changed in 4 days. Also according to Agoda, our checkout was 12noon, but we were asked to leave our room by 10:30am😧

I spent the night here in transit. It was the nicest place I have stayed in so far! So clean, comfy, and quiet. It's not exactly on the beach but it's a 10 min walk and its so so so nice especially since I have mostly been in dorms this trip. Value for money = 10/10

Mr. Gili is a very friendly host. Although you are a 10 min walk from the beach we appreciated walking through the beautiful lanes in which Gili sari is located, gave us a bit of local flavour that we really enjoyed.

We have been traveling all over SE Asia on a bit of a budget. You get what you pay for. For the price, this place was great. Gili Sari Homestay has decent rooms with comfortable beds, good bathrooms, reliable internet, and a cute property. The owner rents bicycles there too. It's a 15 minute walk from the beach and about 25 to the shopping/eating street in Sanur. It's a little tucked away, but that makes it more authentic and quiet. If you want to be in a more happening area it might not be your place, but if you don't mind walking a little and you're looking for a good value, it's good.

great location, very clean room with AC at amazing price”

The homestay is from 10 min walk from the beach, in a quiet street. we went for the standard room and it has a very good size and also AC! the owner gives you advise where to go and we also got the bikes for free so that could do a bicycle trip along the beach (which is definitely suggested to see some more quiet parts of the beach). Sanur is a quite busy, full of restaurants and shops along the beach. we came after the Gilis so went to more quiet parts of the beach. The homestay is a great place to stay at a very good price.

The place is very quiet, bed was comfortable and room very clean. Bathroom was big and clean. They have bikes for free. There is a supermarket, a mc donalds, a pizza hut and many local restaurants close. AC workshops very well. It worths the money.

We stayed two nights. It is not really homestay as owner does nit live at place. Room was very clean. Hot water at shower. Strong and stable wifi. We wake up early around 7 but for long sleepers there could.be some noise around in the morning. Overall nice budget place. It is not in the centre but if you have motorbike or rent cycle all close and good.

Bra och billigt, ägaren är väldigt trevlig. Ligger lite utanför stan men eftersom man får låna cyklar gratis så är det inga problem! Sanur är dock en ganska tråkig stad med mycket "kom och köp"-ställen.. Gratis wi-fi som fungerar på rummen!
