The toilet is not cleaned, toilet flush is not working, the floor and walls are mossy... beds are rotting and it's can be broken anytime.. bottles of mineral water are provided are not a new one but replenished (by looking at the bottle cap)... whatever, the price of the hotel is very cheap if you are planning only for some rest / sleep, the location of the hotel is very close to the main area of Jalan Malioboro, there are many places to eat nearby ... if you are the kind of person who does not care about it, then, do give it a consideration... moreover, we go to Jogjakarta for a vacation, not to hang out at the hotel most of the time.. you will only be in the hotel for a few hours only in a day… so why pay more? Last but not least, attention for hotel management, please clean the toilet, serve a new bottle of mineral water and replace going-to-damage old bed chioww .... thank youuuuu

Pros cheap and close to the action Cons dirty- dead cockroach on the floor, fan full of dust, just not all that clean... No hot water for shower- it's a cheap hotel, not much power for the shower. No power supply for phone etc that would take an adaptor. No wi fi in room Down quite a dark street at night and not on a "main street".

You definitely get what you pay for in this place! Family ran guesthouse and the staff are super friendly and helpful! The room felt old and could do with a deep clean and a bit of TLC, but it was super cheap, so what you gonna do?? Bathroom smelt a bit like poo too. We stayed for 2 nights and it was a good base to have, if you'll be spending most of your time out exploring and don't mind a bit of dirt, go for it! If you like your creature comforts, freshly washed duck feather pillows and balcony views, I'd give it a miss.

Well, it's cheap... More like a place for locals - stuff is not speaking English, no toilet paper or towels and cleanliness standards are quite low. But location is quite good, quiet but close to Maliboro Street.

Cosy place in good location”
Pretty cosy stay, the bedding is clean, owners live downstairs, you can see them washing and ironing everyday. They make very good breakfast for good price! :) Don't speak English but are helpful. Wifi only in the loby, so are the giant cockroaches if you're unlucky :) Would stay again! :)

Centrally located, but..”
Well, where to begin. The location is a four, since it's really centrally located. Unfortunately that is almost all this place has to offer. Although all members of the staff speak only Indonesian, they are really kind and try to help you as best as they can. The place is really old. The room is really dirty and full of mosquitoes, since there are no nets in the "windows" (small holes in the ceiling). The room I stayed in has had a serious water damage. They apparently have had a small face lift in the toilet, but among other things, the seat is really old, since they forgot to change it. There are no sink to wash the hands. Usually it is not a problem, but this place has no shower either. It is the traditional Indonesian shower as someone said, i.e. a bucket. Here I guess you get what you pay for.. I was almost about to leave the place, but I never do it and had a rough trip, so I stayed. And since the wifi does not work (it only works in the small lobby on the first floor), I had one of the best sleeps on my - so far - 3 month long trip. When considering everything, I'm not sure if that's a pro or a con, though. All in all, if you want to stay in this area, I strongly suggest you to check the room before booking and, if it's not your cup of tea, walk around asking for offers from the several other places in the area. There are in fact plenty of places on the same street.

It's normal place, old with old furniture, no blankets, towels, shower and hot water. But it's really like historical building in old city. So for this price is ok. Almost you can eat inside, very good food.

如果要在火车站赶车凑合一晚还是可以，没有风扇，没有热水，没有垃圾桶，就一张床，床单被罩都是几百年没洗过的，唯一方便的就是在maliboluo大街附近，晚上出去就可以吃很多小吃
