Located at the foot of Mount Faber, many guests had enjoyed its tranquil location, surrounded by the lush greenery of the secondary rain forest. Nature enthusiasts can take a 1.5km hike up to the top of the park to enjoy a panoramic view of the southern part of Singapore and the southern islands. The Mount Faber Cable Car Station is also situated there, where guests can enjoy the convenience of travelling to Sentosa Island via cable car. They rent rooms out by the hour. You're often greeted with sounds that verify this. The rooms run unusually small. Not even a window in the room. No soundproofing whatsoever. Rude staff checking in. You get what you pay for.

Bathroom floor were wet, dispute place was airconditioned the whole day. Signs of it being used during my absence.

Worse stay ever”
Sound disturbances from short time couples checking in. Walls sound paper thin. Could not sleep. Had a shower with no hot running water and it could not hold nor regulate temperature. Staff and management noncompliant with any of my requests after explaining the situation. Definitely keeping in mind not to book here ever again.

I visit Singapore once in a while, but this hotel made me discover something new about the country. Two things: 1. Quality vacation need not be expensive especially when staying in a hotel; 2. Singapore is generally cosmopolitan, but it still green (Mt. Faber is a forest within a city). Fragrance Hotel Viva has helpful staff who genuinely look after their guests, special mention - Jessica Long, Maureen, Rill, Jess. With regard to proximity, there are bus stops and a lot of buses along Telok Blangah (adjacent to Fragrance). From Fragrance, Vivo City and Harbourfront Station are just about a kilometer away. There is a 7-11 store right next to the hotel lobby. There is also a native restaurant between the hotel and bus stop. There is a mini grocery in the Esso gas station nearby. You can also go to Vivo City for wider food selection - from fast food to specialty restaurants like Crystal Jade, Asian Kitchen, and Brotzeit.

This was my first time stayed at Fragrance Hotel-Viva. That place is not bad. very confortable to stay only one night. but i book because very conviniant ar Harbourfront. The Fragrance Hotel has a Aroma smell. One thing went we going back have to walk about 15-20minutes. For me i dont mine walking.. one things i worry is elderly can't work long distance. From Harbourfront Centre to the Fragrance Hotel-Viva

The hotel location is very nice and near to public transport. I'm a business traveller will always travel to Singapore several times in a year. And this kind of accommodation is very likely and suitable for me because it is budget but comfort for me. My next visit definitely will look for Fragrance Hotel again.
