It’s all about location”
Moundir was a very accommodating manager of this Riad and couldn’t do enough to help me. He is definitely the heart and soul of this place. He made the trip for me as I arrived unwell from a migraine the day before and then got a gastro bug from a cafe near where I was staying in Fes. The Riad serves breakfast which was a good mixture of traditional with an almond paste that I had not seen or tasted before. The location of this Riad is a problem for solo travelers as there are few Resturant’s around unlike near the blue gate where there is a big choice. The ones that are there are more for a snack or drink. The Medina gets very busy in the evening and noise travels into Riad from the street as expected . Things I like Moundir showed me around a bit, helped with luggage upstairs and from Medina to taxi, handled breakfast and when noisy downstairs at night after 12 made sure the central courtyard was closed down. Room had three beds which was unnecessary for one person but air conditioning compensated. Things to change Toilet paper was a very poor quality. A handrail is desperately needed on second floor as very hard to get up stairs to third floor if a more mature person. Had to ask to have bed made and towels changed rather than this being a service offered. I did ask to change to a room on a lower floor and initially told would check but I had to enquire for a second time and no alternative option given. Stairs for a mature travelled a nightmare as very narrow and steep.

Best place to stay in Fez”
I give this a top score. The entire experience begins with you being welcomed by the host Ahmed. He knows the city well and can give you many tips and tricks on where to go and what to eat. The riad is really cool and the rooms spacious. The breakfast is really delicious. The riad is located near the main tannery of Fez (Chouara), and it is easy to start your journey in the old medina from there. Please make sure to not miss this place during your stay in Fez.

I went as a female solo traveller. Safe and strategic location, easy to find, good breakfast, comfy bed, and really really nice host, Ahmad. Went out his way to accompany me to a convenience store outside Medina for alternative way to buy train ticket online (Thanks Ahmad!).

It's a beautiful riad in the old city. We had a nice sized room with a loft and a private bath. The riad serves meals that are delicious, with huge portions. Breakfast was excellent. Our host, Amed, was an enormous help with directions and advice. I wish we could have stayed another week.

Definitely value for money”
I stay here for 3 night is a clean, quiet, cosy and comfort place to stay. Moundire are friendly and very Hard working worker. Breakfast nice, location easy to find is near to one of the gate “BAB RCIF” and near few of the attractions except there is no nice cafe or restaurant around the hostel compare to Blue gate which have more Restaurants and cafe around. Is around 1km walk to blue gate but if you are alone at night is not advisable to walk back from blue gate to the hostel most of the shop in the area start to close around 8pm. If you prefer somewhere more quiet out of tourist than these is the right place for you. Is Value for money and clean hostel.

Bright, Pretty, Friendly, Comfortable ”
Moundir and Ahmed provided excellent service and advice. Location easy to access (look up on the walls of the Médina and follow the signs-ask shopkeepers the first trip) and convenient. Lots of shops, food, donkeys along the way. The room was comfortable and nice shower, great aircon. Lounge/breakfast room beautifully decorated. Nice breakfast and good coffee provided. Printed out our Ryanair tickets which saved money. Fair price on ride to airport, safe and reliable. Had a wonderful experience in Morocco. Thank you!

Идеальный колоритный интерьер, чисто в отеле и в номере. Брала номер на 4 гостя. В номере душ и туалет, всё чисто. Очень понравилось! Завтрак с утра очень вкусный, входит в стоимость проживания. Если решили остановиться в Фесе, даже не раздумывайте, останавливайтесь в этом хостеле! Спасибо Вам большое за такое гостеприимство!
