Overpriced”
Maybe it was high season but with Rp 1 million per night of a room, I expected a lot more. Staff didn’t offer to help with my luggage too. Other than that, it was alright. Room was clean, breakfast was nice, and the location was in the city. However, I’m not coming back. We can pay half the price for another hotel with the same facilities.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the bathroom. Shower can change hot to cold every few seconds eventhough i set it in the middle (should be warm) The drainage smells like vomit I call the technician but showed no result They came a few times but gave no result I have no idea what’s going on with the bathroom Finally I move to another room.

HOTEL WITH NO HOSPITALITY!”
Lack of hospitality, lack of taste for the food, the pool looks unmanaged well, and the worst : I have very bad experienced when I checked out from the hotel, the hotel staff was informed me that my car had been hit by another guess and all the hotel staff not cooperative at all&showed no responsibilities & always pin-point us& we have to wait until 4 hours until the hotel PROPERLY talked to us.. I will never stay in this hotel anymore at any FAVE HOTEL anywhere!!

Stay in quiet area, close to major attractions”
Enjoyed my stay in Favehotel Kusumanegara, slept well in quiet clean room with good wifi and great selections of TV channels. It's strategically located (a short taxi ride to Malioboro road for shopping, 20 min. drive to airport) The breakfast selection should satisfy most guests with local cuisine, some fruits and some toast/omelettes. Staff is very attentive and friendly making my stay there all the more pleasant.

This was our second time to stay at the favehotel Kusumanegara. Overall both were very good experiences. All the staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and had most needed amenities except no small refrigerator or in-room flask to boil water for tea & coffee. Great English channel selection on the TV. There's a good supermarket, several pharmacies and some decent restaurants within walking distance.

I was enjoy my staying in the favehotel kusumanegara yogyakarta (4 nights). I could combine several activities during my stay, such as accompanied my daughter to register as Gajah Mada University's student in Yogyakarta,as well as I could finish my survey report in my comfortable room and send it to Jakarta by email. The Fave Hotel is located in a historic region of Yogyakarta, such as: Pakualaman (vice governor of DIY Province, Taman Siswa (Institution for national and Javaness education since the colonial era)), Government offices of DIY, and Keraton of Sultan Hamengku Buwono X / Governor of DIY Province (Sultan palace). If you plan to visit the south of DIY Province, this the right hotel. I was visiting Yogyakarta by car, so I could enjoy staying at The fave, but rental cars and taxis are available.

I like my Room # 250 in Fave Hotel Kusumanegara because it is New room, smeeled new, nice cold LG Air Conditioning and nice shower. Nice swimming pool....and nice breakfast with fresh eggs being offered as ommeletes or set up eggs...nice valued boutique hotel...in the heart of Kusumanegara Hero cemetery...in the heart of Jogjakarta.

Wonderful, comfortable stay”
Staying in fave Kusumanegara is one of the best thing ever, the rooms are well cleaned, and the beds are really comfortable, staffs are also friendly (especially front desk, depending who) and also the room service staff, it made me feel so welcomed here...overall, i have a great 3 night stay in this hotel, food was alright, Wifi is a little weak on the second floor, nonetheless, this still is a great hotel to stay in :)..will definitely come back to stay if there's a chance to visit here again! worth for the price :)
