Very Nice”
I stayed one night only during my transit from Nusa Lembongan. The place is basic (value for money) you get what you pay for. Stayed in Balinese style room, hot shower and aircon works perfectly, its quite and peaceful at night. Very clean, nice breakfast and coffee. We had pancake and scramble eggs. Will be back if I had a chance. Thanks again Donna Homestay

Nice simple spacious rooms with everything you need. Each with own terrace looking out on to a pretty well kept garden. Lovely family and staff. Your breakfast with a pot of fresh coffee or tea served on your terrace every morning. Perfect location just off the main street but away from the noise. Donna homestay scores highly for good reason. I stayed twice. The second time for over 2 weeks and will definitely go back.

Absolutely recommend but fan room is very hot”
The homestay is very comfortable, well managed and staff is nice. Still, for us the standard room was too hot and keeping the fan on for the whole night without blanket made our throat hurt next day. Other than that fully recommend!

Smell from the drain in the bathroom was terrible. Television was missing in one of the rooms we rented. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Owner was quiet fickle with a bit of a temper. Could be very nice one moment and then exceptionally difficult and unreasonable the next.

The room is very low light, a beat dark even at morning.. Towel smells bad, and the room.. The staff not help and friendly.. Very Dark at night outside from lobby to the room..

DONNA HOMESTAY - EXCELLENT PLACE, EXCELLENT PEOPLE”
Our stay at Donna Homestay was excellent - the rooms were very Balinese looking and very clean. The owner and his son did everything to look after us but also the son explained about Balinese culture which was great and his daughter had a six month ceremony in the shrine in the hotel grounds and we were made very welcome. As I said excellent place and excellent people and if I am ever this way again would definitely stay again with them.

Lovely Traditional Stay in Heart of Sanur”
Donna Homestay was our first place in Bali, and we were definitely not disappointed! we were housed in a traditional Balinese house tucked just outside of the busy tourist streets of sanur, and were blown away by its beauty! Donna also helped us get a great scooter for the week at a good rate!

Great place and location”
One thing to know about Donna Homestay that makes it great is the location to the beach. Just out and across the main road and 100m to the beach. Not all the places in Sanur from that side of the main road have access and unless you staying on the beachfront, it can be difficult. Everything we needed was in close proximity and we hired bicycles so very convenient. Only issue was cockroaches in the bathroom, but in humid climates, this is not unusual. The family were also very helpful and friendly.

Great location”
This was my home away from home. As a solo travler I felt safe and secure. Donna and his daughter Diyan are friendly and approachable and the other guests are all considerate of each other. I stayed in a bungalow and another room and my 2 suggestions to the owners are that the bathrooms need to be modernised. There is no hot water and the tiles are tired as is the back of the bathroom door. Also as noise travels please tell the people responsible for sweeping outside rooms not to start until 7am. It can be heard and as I was on a holday, sleeping in past 6am would have been appreciated. It was a pleasure meeting you Donna and Diyan

I really enjoyed my stay here. Donny picked me up from the airport and he and his family were so sweet. Sanur can be quite touristy but I felt great staying at this homestay and really wished I could have stayed here longer!

Comfy and wonderful”
We only stayed from around 8pm at night until 10am the next day before leaving for Lembongan coming from Malaysia however as backpackers just needing a place for a night it was reasonably priced, comfy bed & pillows, clean, wonderful staff, great breakfast included, fast wifi. It is a bit more than what we would usually pay but great for someone else's budget.

Great location friendly staff”
We stayed in the tankard room but I would recommend you upgrade to the deluxe. It is well worth the extra few pounds. Staff were brilliant with our little daughter and were always on hand to help and offer to look after her. This family run business is fantastic and we are going to stay there again. Certainly should be a higher rating than 1 star.

Wonderful Place and friendly staff”
Room was clean with AC, hot water, TV. Only a 5 min walk to the beach. It's slightly hard to find at first, down a small alley, so make sure you get good directions but it nice and quiet when you get there. Super friendly and hospitable family with yummy breakfasts delivered to your porch every morning.

Great budget option in the heart of Sanur”
The little bungalows here are great, and worth the price for the budget traveller, although bathrooms like with most budget places could use a bit of upgrading. You also get a little bit of privacy here with a small walled seating area out the front. Wi-Fi connection quite strong. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
