Charming, delightful and unpretentious discovery on the beach with easy access to nearby islands”
I discovered my favourite hotel on my last night in Bali but next I visit I will be sure to start my trip at the Diwangkara Beach Hotel and Resort. Unpretentious and charming with beach frontage right beside the departure point for many of the tour boats that take visitors out to the nearby islands. The staff were very helpful and helped ensure my last night in Bali and my morning trip to the airport were as relaxed and stress free as the rest of my holiday.

A beautiful oasis ”
We loved Diwangkara and can't recommend it highly enough. After an initial hiccup they sorted this out quickly and our stay was amazing. Out of 5 days there I can count on 1 hand how many meals we didn't eat in their restaurant, the food was equally as good as the accommodation. The location right on the beach is fabulous, although the path nearby can get quite congested as its right near where the booking offices are for the fastboats to Lembongan. Do yourself a favour and give it a go, you won't be disappointed :)

Very pretty Bali style hotel. It was very serene and the staff were very kind. Breakfast was really good and down by the ocean. Showers were hot and WiFi worked great. The only issue is watch out for the bidet from hell. That water nozzle will give you an extra hole you don't need, the pressure is so strong! Lol

Staff are personable and welcoming. Location is good and lounge chairs on the beach are nice with towel service as well as food/beverage service. The swimming pool was not inviting as the levels were low. Our room was comfortable and relaxing. The patio is nice too. Breakfast choices could be improved. This was our second stay at this hotel. Will recommend.

great little place near the beach and boats to the island. restaurant is okay at the beach behind the hotel and part of the hotel, but a great little place out the front of the hotel and up a bit.. more healthy options.

Beautiful Bali hotel, don’t do the breakfast”
+ Rooms are very nice, and clean perfect bed, beautiful garden. location perfect if you want to go to nusa - Breakfast buffet is really not worth it. Poor choice, not filled good. Got one pancake 10 cm with 3 slices of banana. When I asked for milk coffee it was a big problem to get some warm milk. After complaint I got A hot cup with plastic on it (try to get it off;-() Fruit choice only papaya and melon. Fruit drink is not fresh and empty etc... - internet is poor and gone all the time Lots of provat infotmation on the public computers about guests, because computer was reception computer before. I spent an hour to get most of it removed. - only 5 beds at the pool, it should be at least double - not enough beds at the beach when visitors of the restaurant use it too. It can improve a lot just with some little changes. Management should do this because the hotel is really nice.

one problem”
BIG DISAPPOINTMENT: many if not most highly rated hotels provide bicycles for their customers' use. They charged more (Rp50.000/day) than the beach front bicycle rental places. I asked for only a one hour rental, and they said it was the same price as all day.

Basic dwellings ”
Funny little hotel, very quiet. Sheets and towels were old and worn and resort needs a facelift. . Room were big and offered everything we needed. Not enough chairs on the beach and no drinks service by the pool or beach. Lovely gardens. Location was nice although a bit secluded from the other resorts. For our 1 night is Sanur it was ok for $53 a night, I wouldn’t pay more than that tho.

Goid hotel in Balinese style”
Big rooms, good bathroom. Breakfast better than last time I stayed. Hotel did nothing with my preferences becaue they didn’t get those. Very close to the harbor to gili and nusa. The big thing is that even in low season there are just a few beds at the beach and pool. People leave their towels and others have no bed. More beds are really neccesary. Also there could be a policy for putting and leaving towels for more than an hour or so.

Just Great !”
This is a quiet paradise in the center of busy Kuta. I Do not think I would recommend Kuta to other fellow travellers with toddlers, the area is too busy and filled with noisy scooters, but the hotel is amazing. Excellent service on every single moment of every day, delicious breakfast and an always caring service. We loved it in here.

Excellent. The front desk helped me arrange transportation, massage and anything I wanted advice on. The first hotel I've stayed at where the pictures did not do the hotel justice instead of being made to look better than it is. I look forward to my next stay.

Convenience in Sanur”
We stayed in this hotel for easy access to the fast boat to Nusa Penida. The hotel was conveniently located near the fast boat meeting place. They even prepared for breakfast boxes for us since we left earlier than the breakfast time. We dislike the crowded beach in front of the hotel, though. For a more peaceful beach, better go southward to the other hotels.

Nice Stay by the Beach”
Think is very nice location, get to sit by the beach to have our breakfast but the spread rather limited only with bread, 2 hot dishes and fruits. Eggs upon request else might not even know there is. But for the price we are paying I think still worth it. I love tge fact that the room is so near the beach and we really had cozy night there. It is very near departure spots if you are taking ferry to other islands, think overall experience is great.

Clean, good for stay, friendly staff Inside room there is no hair dryer but if u request from them they will send to you. Overall I'm satisfied with this hotel. Suitable for traveller who want to go seaside or take boat to Lembongan or Nusa Penida.

A nice hotel, with a beautiful garden. The rooms are spacious but lack the charm of the Balinese. A restaurant on the square with a European cuisine - a pity for a hotel by the sea - a hearty breakfast with choice, despite music too strong.

Good”
we booked a deluxe double room without breakfast. the room was nice, spacious and clean. we got a room with twin beds (as a couple) which didn't bother us. But the pictures on agoda didn't meet reality. Our room was entirely different, especially the bathroom. We assume we didn't get a deluxe room but only a sort of standard one. Furthermore there we're no such features as a mosquito net, hairdryer etc. as shown in the room desription on agoda. when we addressed the matter to the staff, the lady told us that they had different types of deluxe rooms. We even showed her the agoda pictures but nothing happenend. All in all is to say that it is a very nice hotel located directly on the beach, close to restaurants and shops. We had a nice experience staying there, only the customer service was a little poor.
