Within 6 days we stayed in 3 major hotels. That was our goal to see which one is the best. Manila Hotel, Diamond and Sofitel. In Diamond..the lobby is nit that impressive thatn the Manila Hotel but it is still very nice and clean. From the front desk checking in, this young man (unfortunately he did not have a name tag) was very nice and informed me what is free to use inside our room and the rest can be requested with fee(I like that..instead of looking at 1 water bottle and wonder that if you use it, it cost like buying the the whole case !). He even looked around for us when our room is available. He checked us in early! The room in Diamond is very nice. All clean and modern, I did not have to disinfect...(I'm a nurse). From the bathroom to the beds area, it's spacious! I mean...spacious! The bathroom has good lighting that you can reall see your face. Not like the others that it's low light that i think is ridiculous that you can barely see your face especially if you are applying makeup. The hairdyer is in the bathroom and easily accessible. The beds are 2 queen beds! (I traveled with my sister) not 2 twins but queen bed. The beds are nice and fresh. The pillows are good for me, my sister think it's too big and heavy. 2 pillows each bed. They have robes and slippers which is very nice. Again I'm a nurse..don't like walking on yhe carpet barefoot or walking around the room with outside shoes. The view from our room is the best! Thanks to the young and that checked us in! The place is walking distance to Dolomite beach and we enjoyed the street food on the way inside. Just watch your back when walking around. Otherwise it's not a long walk at all. Near MOA. You can walk out the hotel and get a taxi or get a Grab ( Kinda Uber). The breakfast was good! Basic options but nice. The juices are fresh!. A bit mixed this time…but still GREAT!”
My wife and I first came on November 24, stayed for a week. This time we arrived on December 7 and stayed 3 days. There were problems, be resolved in a timely manner. First problem found was the email on Agoda was wrong, and my email bounced back. I then went online to contact the hotel for transport from the airport. I was directed to Pesopay link. It didn’t work either after numerous attempts and calls to my bank, discovering Pesopay wasn’t working right. Of course I’m trying to do this while packing for a permanent move to the US. Stress was a constant companion and this Pesopay thing wasn’t helping. Finally, after contacting Diamond again, while at the airport about to depart for Manila, it worked when Diamond sent a new link. Of course, when I went to send a screenshot my phone glitched (user error I’d guess), and I sent emails letting Diamond know we paid. My wife asked if we had a ride, and I said we’ll know if the young man from Diamond is “here” (at Manila Airport (NAIA)). Fortunately, the young man, quite affable and friendly was just outside the door with the sign. He’d met us previously, so it was good to see a familiar face. He loaded our bags into the van and our driver, Randal, drove us to the Diamond Hotel. Of course we were greeted with a group of caring employees. We washed our hands, had our temperature taken, our bags were disinfected, and we checked in. Lucky us, we were upgraded to a corner room. It was spacious and comfortable. Looking around the room, my wife discovered the shower mat was moldy and dirty on the underside. I called the front desk, and in a matter of minutes the problem was resolved. Some might say, “well it shouldn’t be that way to begin with”, to which I say, we’re coming out of a major global pandemic. Restarting our engines of industry is going to take time. My wife and I slept quite well on the pillow-top king sized bed. The next morning we had breakfast, and it was wonderful and more than enough food. It’s too bad screen

My husband and I stayed for two nights due to a delayed flight and we cannot recommend Diamond Hotel high enough. We upgraded to the diamond club at check in and was well worth it. All amenities were clean, bed was comfortable and service impeccable. Thank you for our stay!

All the staff from the receptionist to the bell boy and up to the guards and doorman will treat you a VIP.. The restaurant had an exquisite menu and the Chef is really Uperb. The room was very very clean and everything is there on what a 5 star hotel should be. The location is perfect if you go to the Manila Dolomite Beach..kudos to the staff

Second time to stay after 7 years and The Diamond Hotel still is very pleasant. 1. Check-in was very breezy but had a minor miscommunication at check-out. 2. Spacious room with a nice view of the sunset and the dolomite beach. 3. Usual breakfast fare 4. I booked a Diamond Club King Room for New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks with 2 of my besties and have a sleepover party. I flew from HK and requested a pick up from the airport in their hotel shuttle which was part of my package. As soon as I went outside the Arrivals Hall, a hotel staff with a Diamond Hotel sign was there. I signaled to him.and he came forward to take my luggage trolley, wheeled it outside where we were met by the driver of a Toyota Vios. No one had asked me how many if us were arriving. Good it was only me and my 2 large suitcases fortunately fit in the car trunk. There was little traffic and we got to the hotel in less than 20 minutes. At the hotel, Diamond Club room guests checked in on the 27th floor where the cocktail and breakfast lounge

The hotel is still very clean just like years ago.regarding their buffet breakfast, the price isn’t worth. Choices are very limited unlike before. They only serve 2 kinds of fruits and the bread section have very few kinds of bread you can choose. Years ago they have.Abundant choices of fruits you can choose and mouthwatering bread/pastries, not anymore. The main meal for breakfast is more on eggs and only 4 kinds of “ulam” you can choose on, which are not very appealing. Well the hotel atmophere is still very nice. Used to stay here everytime i come home. However, i still recommend Diamond hotel for it’s cleanliness , ambiance and service.

Great location - close to airport. Accommodating staff. Nice big room. Great food (even quarantine food). Nice sunset view depending on your room I guess - makes my 10 day quarantine bearable. One complaint though - internet is painfully slow. It took several hours to upload an 8 minute video on YouTube. One important tip - check the price on the hotel's website first before booking.
