High CP value for hotels in karuizawa. It is not close to the station but that's not a problem if you drive as you can park outside the hotel free of charge. They provide hot drinks in the lobby such as coffee and green tea free of charge.

This is hands down the best place i have stayed at in Japan. It is so surreal how nice it is. Super huge rooms, luxurious facilities, and hardly anyone. The indoor/outdoor onsen is also a real treat. I will definitely be back for a longer stay.

The hotel is located in the middle of Karuizawa station (15 min. walk) and Kyu Karuizawa. (10 min. walk). Scenery of hotel is great and room is spacious and cozy. Customer service is excellent. We enjoyed our stay here. Well recommended to all.

Worth for the 12 minutes walk from the station. Quiet, beautiful surrounding, a world away from the crowded Karuizawa town centre. Close to nature and various hiking trails. The man who runs the hostel is attentive and helpful, super polite, speaks good English. Definitely one of the best hostel I've ever stayed.

I had a wonderful stay in Dormy Club Karuizawa. The hotel is located in Naka-karuizawa, close to the famous Hoshino onsen and stone church. They also offer shuttle bus to Naka-karuizawa train station. The staff are extremely hospitable and friendly. Will like to go back again.

Old hotel but they still maintain good and clean. The hotel is in front of Komoro station, very convenient. The onsen is good and they have a free food massage machine, you can use it after onsen. Breakfast also good and there is a historical park 懷古園, it's 100 best parks for sakura and red maple. You can get a 100 yen discount if you buy a ticket from the hotel.

The hotel is cozy and comfortable. The room and lounge are roomy and well-decorated. Staff are well-trained with good English and providing warm and professional services. The breakfast was great and the pantry inside the room was excellent. I will stay at Kyu Karuizawa Hotel if I visit here again.

Need to improve the cleanness

Really peacefull place, if you want to touch nature, recommended here. Very friendly and nice owner, good in english. He tried to arrange my 1 day trip plan in karuizawa, so kind.

i really like the hotel, its clean.although it was kinda far away from the jr station, but it was a pleasent stay.i really appreciate enjoying my time staying in the hotel.

Ok, if you are traveler with easy luggage won't be a problem. If you are in Karuizawa for shopping and going around then you gotta rethink. Hotel is not exactly near the station and hotel doesn't provide any transportation to the nearest station. Train is not very frequent either. Train fare to the next station cost 230~240 yen each trip, so it adds up and it doesn't t...
