Great new hotel but no swimming pool”
i stayed in dermaga hotel for 2 night with my family. i have booked this hotel for long time ago because when i stayed it is in long weekend season. i feel comfort when i stayed in this hotel. new building and quiet situation so good for relax.

Good hotel, helpful staff, but location not ideal”
I was travelling by myself in Indonesia and spent 5 days in Yogyakarta. Dermaga Keluarga is a new hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, and the staff is very nice and helpful. The cons are: no laundry service, no restaurant/room service available, and the location is not ideal for tourists and travellers - it takes 20 to 30 mins by becak to reach the areas with the restaurants, cafes and travel agencies (although you can find a few restaurants not far away from the hotel). Also, if you book a day trip through a tour operator, it is very likely that you will have to pay an extra to get picked up at the hotel (usually, they only pick up people in the city center and Prawirotaman street).

we have stayed in dermaga keluarga the entire five nights while in jogja.rooms are clean and conformtable with friendly hotel staff. most interesting, there is a marine museum within the hotel compound plus marine interior hotel. interesting!!

nice to stay, good sleep”
this is a maritime museum hotel, the design is very unique, like a vessel deck. the room is very clean and modern, the bed is comfortable and nice to sleep there. the room rate is very affordable, i think this a value money hotel.

Good price and good location”
The price is about 15USD / night without breakfast. Not too far from Central (Malioboro, Keraton, Square). The rooms are pretty good, sleep good, but the bathroom was not clean enough. But quite worth it.

Comfortable Hotel”
although it is a 3-star hotel, but the place provides a homey feeling. better yet, the room has a king size bed and also pretty spacious & clean. i guess it is above our expectation. staff is very friendly and helpful. one thing to improve is the breakfast buffet, since it doesn't provide omellete, which i was expecting..

Clean and Comfortable Room”
Pleasant stay but due to renovation in progress, the lifts are not ready for use, so we had to climb up to the 3rd storey to our room which was quite tedious. The location is a little far from the famous shopping area "Wiliaboro" and no nearby restaurants at this area, but believe the hotel location will improve as can see construction building in progress. Overall, a very clean and nice hotel.

Brand New Hotel, Location Not Great!”
The hotel is brand new and quite comfy with friendly staff. Unfortunatelty, the location is not good as its far away from Malioboro street. Please note: If you prefer to travel with your own car, there is limited free parking for guests!!

The hotel is too far away from the sights. So I wouldn't recommend it for tourists. For other occations it is all right. The food is ok. Breakfast was delivered to the room. There are quite a lot of mosques in the area, so the singing is quite loud.

Pleasant and confortable”
Very nice except for 1 night when the group of young teens from a local collegge checked in and made a mess of the ideal night and were unctrolled dispite calling the front desk!!!

not so pleasant ”
it was not pleasant and bad. we booked 3 room with twin beds, instead we got 3 double beds. receptionist didnt inform us at advance. we arrived at midnight and tired so we didn't have any choice. there is a rule where you cant smoke nor bring durian to the room or you'll fined idr 500,000. all the rooms are no smoking room. some of the air conditioners are hot and there is no fridge. at night many lizards and other insects crawling outside the door. the staff were not helpful and not friendly. the dining room is small and you cant sit down without bumping into each other. the location is far from the downtown and nothing to see outside the hotel. what i like about this hotel is only the toast and the tv cable. nothing more

wifi is not good”
wifi inside the room is terrible. eventhough the wifi modem just in front of your room. you need to put your computer behind the door to get better wifi signal. also, bed sheets still have blood stain in 1 bed. staffs are helpful. even offer to change room with better wifi and provides extra pillows.

Average and nice”
on the last day of our stay, the staff is like pushing us to imidiately checkout ,as we already confirmed that we are in the room getting ready but they call to our room twice, checking to our room to make sure , and called us to my phone number, that very disturbing. but overall the hotel was ok

Poor customer service”
The room is quite confortable but not the bath room because is smelly and the shower is not working properly. The receiptcionist was not take the guest order really well, because i ask the help from the receiptsionist to called a taxi for me to airport for the next morning, and what happend is when i want to do the checkout at the next morning, there is no people at the receiptionist desk and they don't even called taxi for me, lucky the security guard was so helpfull n stop taxi for me by the road side.

Good athmosphere to relax”
Just only one issue when i checking in, i was booked twin room and they put my booked on double so i have to wait almost 45 minutes to change from double to twin, i don't know why this is happen to them, because my booked clearly state as twin room option.
