Beautiful Hotel”
My partner and I loved our stay here. The hotel was beautiful and conveniently located within a walking distance from the station alongside a 7/11 behind the hotel which was great for when she and I needed to buy snacks or withdraw money from our international accounts. The hotel also came with a coin laundry facility which was much cheaper than the laundry services most other hotels provide where they charge per unit of clothing. Rooms were quite spacious and staff were very friendly, always willing to help. We'll definitely come back here when visiting in the future

Exceptional”
Very nice hotel in a good location on the east side of Kyoto station. The area is quiet and not crowded, easy to move around in the morning and at night. 7-Eleven is close by for drinks and snacks, Don Quijote in a small mall is down the street. The room is nicely designed and furnished. Also, the hotel just recently installed a coin laundry facility which is amazing and very useful; thank you for that, no need to plan trips to a laundromat during long stay.

Good location”
Hotel has good location (although another Daiwa is 1 block nearer to kyoto station). Lobby is huge and well designed. Room has good size and came with all basic amenities one would need. Love the kimono robes provided to wear in room. Definitely a highlight for foreign visitors to Kyoto.

The hotel itself is very nice, well designed, and clean! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great as it's about a 5 minute walk to the station, while also being quiet. There is a convenience store nearby as well if you need anything. Highly recommended!

Conveniently located within walking distance from Kyoto station. The design of the hotel is sleek and has zen elements incorporated. Hotel room is fairly spacious and clean. Special shout-out to a lady receptionist who went through the trouble of helping us call an onsen ryokan to check for the availability of the private onsen for day trippers

The staff was phenomenal and very easy to communicate with. I loved that they had emailed for a special show that the Maiko had preformed for us. They were so informative and very easy to talk with. I would recommend everyone that has a chance, to go see her show. I was there with my Fiance on our tour of Kyoto. We also meet a new friend from the hotel staff. She was so sweet for talking with us and sharing experiences. This was one of our favorite hotels that we stayed in and Kyoto was amazing. Keep up the amazing work!!!

A quiet hotel with large room”
The room is quiet spacious and very clean. Yukata is prepared in the room, which is nice. Although the hotel is only 5-10 minutes walk from Kyoto station, it's probably too far away after a shopping spree. Also very few stores within 1-2 blocks. On the other hand, it is very quiet and the interior is designed elegantly. One noticeable downside is the laundry room only has 2 machines. It could get really inconvenient for those need to do laundry. Highly recommend for 1-2 nights stay.

We loved staying at the Daiwa Royal Hotel Grande. The staff are beautiful, are multilingual and so helpful. They went above and beyond for us even helping to ship our luggage on a date after we left. The buffet is delicious and has a good range of Japanese and western choices. The hotel is located close to the train station and it's easy to walk to shopping areas. The rooms are large and gorgeous. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great 2 nights stay at Daiwa. Relatively near Kyoto main station, a quick 5-10 min walk. English speaking receptionists who were happy to help. Room was clean and spacious, loved it.

Executive Suites Are Value for Money”
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel which has its own two-levels for executive suites. Their lounge was wonderful with free refreshments and nibbles in the afternoon. Well located near the Kyoto Station, this is definitely a luxurious option out of the Daiwa hotels.

We had a double room on the executive floor, room was very spacious, clean and modern, the huge bed was the most comfortable we had in our ventures around Japan. Breakfast was excellent, the executive lounge was a help yourself style, but we seemed to be the only ones in there each night so very quiet but comfortable. Overall an excellent hotel close to the rail station, and will definitely stay there again when we return to Kyoto.
