“I'd stay again”
This place is great for singles and couples who are budget conscious. I recommend renting a motorbike but in all honesty it's nice to have one no matter where you rent and they're as cheap as 350-400 php a day. I did stay a few days without a motorbike and It's a quick 15 min walk to Sabang and 30 minute walk to Puerto Galera town. You can flag down a motorbike or tuk tuk just outside the front gate really easily if you don't want the 400 cost like I didn't all the time and don't want to walk. Another guest said it was 50 pesos to puerto town but others have said they try to charge more. It may depend on your bartering skills. Still, at the rate I paid for this room with the pool as nice as it is I don't think you'll find a better place for this price. Only if you pay more. I saw one review where it said the pool was too hot. I didn't find this the case but I am here in January. It likely depends what month you stay. I liked the location being in-between both places (Sabang and Puerto town) but I can understand how if you never rent a motorbike for your entire stay and you stay a week or two that might be inconvenient if you're not a big walker or the motorbikes offering a ride over charge because you're a foreigner. The place was always clean. There is a water jug and hot water In a thermos in the front diningroom for your coffee or noodles should you need it. There is good wifi and the staff can help you get anything else you need. I didn't have a room with aircon and it got warm in the middle of the afternoon but I did have a fan and it was fine overnight--but again I am here in late January. I'm not sure how it would be in other months. I look forward to staying again.
