Out of no where ”
The surplus hospitality is from the people ( the owner couple, the niece and the local workers) in this mountainous area. We enjoyed holidaying here with the food, massages n tranquility beautiful nature. No doubt, it was the best experience to travel by motorcycles ferrying us from the tar road as the motorway is blocked by his neighbor! Thank you for hosting us!

Best view ever”
Owners are very friendly. There are only 4 rooms and they offer family breakfasts and dinners. House is cosy, well maintained and the view is even better then on the photos! Plan to stay there again next time I visit Bali. The minor issue is getting there. Taxi drivers do not know the way and it's very far in the jungles/mountains so prepare for a bumpy and a bit scary journey. Better not try to get there after sunset. Apart from this the place is 100% amazing

Unique accommodation in spectacular location”
Small personalised Balinese accommodation in tranquil location overlooking beautiful mountains. The hosts and staff are lovely and provided personalised service. Lovely fresh meals cooked daily using local ingredients! One delux room doesn’t have a mountain view, so if u are keen to have a morning or evening mountain view - don’t book this room (charged at the same rate as the delux room that does have a mountain view!) Lots of lovely walking and cycling options.

Stylish property in the middle of a djungle ”
It is best not book this property with agoda. The hotel has some problem with the agent who is dealing with agoda for this property. They don't manage it themselves. So they were not informed that we were coming, and the rooms are pretty costly here. We were given some kind of an emergency room near the pool, which was also nice, but not the room that we have actually booked. The place is very stylish (sophisticated furniture, a wonderful pool, in the middle of no-where...). But it is also hard to find and one needs to follow the wooden signs along the road in order to find it. We were given a welcome tea by the owner nevertheless, and in order to compensate for the room we got all food for free here. However, we do advise to book this property via other booking-pages since there is some problem with agoda at this point.

Perfect Getaway”
Nice to get out away from the traditional tourist areas of Bali. Up in the jungle, quiet, clean, beautiful. Staff are great. You could walk to a couple of other resorts for dinner but I would suggest that the staff made the best food I ate in Bali. Any meals were excellent. Host and staff were always very helpful with any requests for transportation, sights to see, etc. Lots of hiking to be done.

Beautiful jungle getaway”
Perfect for a short stay in the Balinese forest. The view is stunning and the rustic atmosphere is perfect. Slight confusion on transportation though. We took a Bluebird taxi from Kuta for 340.000, we took the wrong road and it was an uncomfortable ride. On our arrival the owner told us that they would provide transport when we left as taxis are expensive. When we were leaving the owner was gone and the staff arranged a car for us but it was 400.000 just to Ubud. We would have called our taxi back if we had know that. The breakfast and dinners are delicious Balinese cooking though they didn’t tell us that each dinner is 100.000 each until we checked out and paid. Overall a great place to relax in complete peacefulness.

I should keep this gem for myself but...if one is looking for pristine, feel like home away from home, where staff treats your wishes before you cant even think of them, where coffee is as strong as real coffee should be, where the location and the building itself bewitches you... look no further, perfect 15 out of 10

Lovely staff wanting to help. Great view especially having the mountain and pool room. A tropical paradise up in the hills. Downside is the 250m walk in from road (no issue without luggage but tough if carrying - make sure your driver contacts hotel on arrival to pick up luggage from road). Villa is also a good 45mins walk up a steep hill from Jatiluwih - we enjoyed the walk because of the time of day and shade but it is some distance in humidity...
