“Lovely staff, but property needs an upkeep”
1. Location - just a five minute walk to Seminyak beach. A greek restaurant is just right across it if you need some good food during the day. 2. Reception - all smiles and very accommodating. They gave us welcome drinks and cold towels while waiting. 3. Room - I initially booked a room with balcony (city view) but upon check-in, I was told that there were no rooms available with a balcony. Since it was already fully paid, I insisted on having them a room with a balcony. It wasn’t long until the receptionist messaged me that they found me a room and gave me an upgrade facing the garden and a partial view of the pool. Room was nice, but one thing we didn’t like upon check-in was that the couches/seats inside the room were a bit moist (probably the previous guests sat their wet after pool time), so it was bit icky. There was also a musty smell whenever we enter the room. Nonetheless, the smell will fade when we turn on the AC, which was also at good temps we can easily control. The T&B was a nice touch, having the shower and toilet in separate areas. 4. Value for money - it’s a 7 out of 10 for me, as the property definitely showed its age. Well maintained but could use some much needed upkeep. One of the offerings that I did like was the free shuttle drop-offs at certain spots, which was a huge convenience. 5. Communication - the staff are always quick to respond, and housekeeping is always happy to deliver our supply of bottled water. I accidentally broke a bottle and one of the staff came in all smiles, ready to clean up my mess! 6. Facilities - we availed their massage services and wasn’t satisfied. It was quite pricey, and wasn’t value for money. 7. Breakfast - this was buffet style and was included in our room availment. It was alright, nothing exceptional. There were a lot of food options, but nothing exceptional. Coffee from their machine tasted a bit diluted, so manage your expectations.
