I booked 2 rooms of deluxe king with buffet for 2 nights, but when I was checking in, I asked for a confirmation on the buffet but they said no buffet was booked for me. It was clearly stated in the voucher that it is included with buffet. I had to make a lot of phone calls to agoda to ask them to settle it with the hotel. Stayed there for a couple days. I booked a room in the old tower but got a complimentary upgrade to the renovated tower in a "suite". It is not a suite but rather just a regular renovated room. One of the best “budget” hotels in New York. Located 2 streets away from empire state building, hotel offers a clean bedroom and private toilet for a very good price. It is hard to beat the location of this hotel, between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue. We could walk everywhere. While there was no coffee maker or tea kettle in the room, hot water will be delivered on request - this is a complimentary service. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel General Manager (Mr. Petrollini) has managed to resolve the confusion with my reservation quickly and effectively and with a very friendly attitude and I had a great feeling about it. The best thing about this property is proximity to the Grand Canyon visitor center. The hotel is pretty run down. The room was clean, and seemed like they did a bit of painting to zhuzh up the place, but due to how old the property is, it had a musty smell. So it gave off the vibe of a dirty motel.
