"the best place in town. 30 bungalows which are nice, great bed, good AC. but NO INTERNET. Tv was not working for 2 of the 4 days and when it got fixed its only 13 channels, all local (many w horrible snowy picture) and animal planet and indian movie channel. pool under repair, looks like for awhile. had to keep asking for toilet paper, didnt even have any in bathroom by check in/kitchen, nor anything to dry hands with. cook was good, but not many choices, kitchen is basic, no oven. staff was very nice and eager to please. this hotel 5 min from airport (can see runway from in front of hotel) which is good bc only one flight a day out, at 6:15 am! FYI on the island drivers for half day cost 500k or 100k each way to go anywhere. motorbikes 300k for 6 hours. Only cell carrier on island is Telkom, no XL, but places in town have WIFI and thats like a 20 min drive. Cemara beach has dive shop and wifi. I used Jodi at DCDC was good. great diving"

"Had a lovely stay with these guys. Amazing to have such a beautiful place almost entirely to yourself but the staff and their family could not have been more friendly and/or helpful. This is not a place with many amenities but we were assisted with onward boats, booking flights... they even fired up a generator so we could get some A/C to cool down and get the drinks in the fridge! Could you really ask for more!"
