Where to stay in Tulum
Tulum hotels & accommodations

Great option for self-contained, adults-only luxury. Rooms are large, service is good and restaurants are some of the best hotel restaurants available in self-contained resorts in Mexico. I also like the fact that all facilities are new and super fresh/clean. The styling is also decidedly grown-up and modern. Already planning a return trip!

We stayed at this resort for a wedding. To be honest i didn't really find the hotel or [pool area as beautiful as other hotels on the beach in Tulum. The food was fairly average in the hotel resturants, the buffet breakfast was probably the best though. The drinks were great though! Hotel was clean and well maintained, the rooms were nice but nothing super special. We...

The hotel in general is really nice, and for couples ideal. Food at the beach is amazing, really good. Staff is poor, specially the waiters have little experience and are not very friendly. A lot of improvement in that area. Staff at reception and the coordinators are great. They need a common pool. There is no pool and with the "sargazo" in the ocean it was not alwa...

I loved the stay, the food was great and the staff are so kind; they went out of their way to make us comfortable and helped us with whatever we needed, they were also so attentive. I would come back again. The pool is just as the pictures I loved it, the only con and is not the hotels fault is the seaweed for some reason all over tulum it came out of nowhere!

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Pool and room were great. Hotel itself is ages away from anything unless you drive. Loads of parking for cars. Neighbourhood is a bit of a building site. They have bikes you can use but the handle bars fell off ours and the seat broke mid cycle into downtown. Down town cycle (in 30 degree heat) 30 minutes minimum. To begging ofbeach ...

Azura is located near the main street of Tulum. It is within walking distance of most of the good restaurants and gift shops. The staff there are super helpful! They emailed us in advance to see if they can help us with anything and they kept offering us advice and suggestion during our stay. Last but not least, the facilities in the hotel are perfect. There is a spa...

The hotel is perfectly located, with good access to public transport and some nice restaurants around (papaya pizza, la coqueta). The pool, the garden, as well as the interior design of the rooms are beautiful! Irma and her team are very helpful and so amiable! Muchas gracias por todo!

Stayed with my friend for 4 nights and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The room is very clean and location great as near a taxi rank and about 3km either way to beach, Gran cenote and Tulum ruins. The breakfast was a lovely surprise and offered plenty of choice. Staff are friendly and the place has a nice vibe to it. I would recommend this place and would consider staying...

I don't really agree with the term "glamping". Neither is it glamorous nor is it really camping. The "tents" are more like bungalows with walls made of fabric and an outdoor bathroom. The place was really clean and the staff was super friendly. The food smelled amazing but sadly we were on a budget and hat to go for street food. There is no hot water in the shower but...

The hotel is small and simple, but the second is great ! The pool is fabulous, and the free bike rental made our trip... The only thing I would mention is that the bathroom was tiny- and the room smelled a little damp with no AC, Overall we loved it and definitely return ❤

When I checked in, I didn't really had the feeling I'm welcome. But my two talks with the receptionists afterwards were friendly and nice. Everything is clean so far but it also appears a little bit sterile. The atmosphere didn't let me feel like people want to socialise. But it is very close to the bus station and you can also book tours in the hostel. They offer a bi...

A lovely little beachfront hotel where you step out your front door onto the white sand of the beach. Its quite basic compared to the resorts (eg no tv; no food), yet clean and comfortable and offers a nice alternative to the big resorts. Hire bicycles while in Tulum which is the best/cheapest/easiest way to get around and see things like the Tulum ruins and downtown T...

not far away from city center, include simple breakfast. You dont know it is a hotel when you arrive, but after check in, you will love its forest feel, only 8 -10 rooms, a rope bed outside your room, comfortable in your room, must try one night in Tulum!

Hip Hotel is situated on the south end of Tulum at the best part of the beach. The rooms are clean and you can easily sleep with your room door open at night and feel safe while watching and listening to waves crash. The breakfast that's included is incredible and the food and drinks are great. This was my second time at the hotel this year and I look forward to return...

On our way troug Quintana Roo we found this very nice hotel in Tulum. It is not easy to find, but the position on the Agoda map is correct. As there are no signs the best is to drive to the area and ask a local. the hotel itself is worth the visit, if you don't need to stay directly at the beach and it is much cheaper than the beach condos. Nice architecture!

We have never before posted a review on a hotel we stayed in, but decided that this hotel stay was so different/ amazing that we just had to give them some feedback. We were treated like the most special people there by most the staff, the waiters and managers were just fantastic. The hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful and serene. But the best thing was the food....

What a great place. It was a condo in a hotel. There was a living room, dining area, kitchen ready if you wanted to cook, a bedroom with a king size comfy bed and a nice size bathroom. The pool looked very inviting and each room had its own balcony. The staff were excellent- professional, friendly, and very helpful. When I return to Tulum, Palms is where I will stay!

The staff are friendly and the rooms are nice. The breakfast is good in the morning. However the price on agoda was quoted in USD dollars and the price charged at the hotel was just their normal rate in Mexican pesos, and I booked on agoda because even the amount quoted in USD at the highest exchange rate was still less than the rate on their own website and the rate I...

Live Tulum was fabulous to stay in , our swim up appartment had everything we wanted and was kept spotless with loads of clean towels . Breakfasts with Wendy were lovely and looked forward to each day. There are two points I would like to make , the desk staff need to give more information to the guests, on arrival it would be nice to be given a map and told of the loca...

Gorgeous garden setting with big rooms looking onto the garden and pool. Lovely room with really pretty drapes around the huge bed. Our room had a nice balcony, fridge, free water, tea and coffee and TV. The bathroom was larger than normal and had a great shower, with nice free toiletries and bathrobes. Location was excellent, just off the Main Street and really near...

We had a great stay here. Clean rooms, a nice patio on the roof with hammocks and chairs, a kitchen, and yoga sometimes as well. The bed was nice and comfy and rooms stayed cold- we barely used the AC. Jorge & the staff were great and very helpful . The building was centrally located, just a short walk from the bus station and many restaurants, and very secure. In ord...

Elements is a very charming boutique hotel just a few steps away from the busy main road, the beach is about 4km away. You can lend bikes for free to move around Tulum and the beaches. We had a poolside room which was huge, spotlessly clean and decorated with style. The staff was very helpful from the beginning, explainig and making phonecalls for reservations. The onl...

A really excellent place. Beautifully set out in a lovely garden setting on the edge of the jungle. Lovely, spacious and clean rooms with enclosed verandah and hammocks. The room was very spacious for the two of us. The fridge came in handy. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. They can arrange tours for you if you’d like. I live in Tulum and stayed here for my birthday weekend. It was the best choice ever! This was a room right on the beach! It was super clean, close to restaurants and bars, and had the best view ever! I loved having a lockable screen door so I could hear the ocean when I went to sleep and when I woke up. It was so lovely I extended my stay an extra night. I loved being...

the place has a security gate at the entrance. Centrally lacates to all the parks and major attractions. A car is a MUST since Tulum is 10 minutea away.
