Where to stay in Toba
Toba hotels & accommodations
Toba was my first trip outside of the usual "tourist" Japan, and it did not disappoint. The Hotel Int'l Shiojitei is a beautifully done place, with a clean, minimalist "vibe" to it, but with a touch of modern flair. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One thing to keep in mind is that in the area of Toba, Ise, Mie (nearby places you'll pr...
I wish to thank the hotel for giving us free breakfasts during our stay (wasn't included when I made the booking). The service is excellent. Will choose this hotel again when I visit Toba in the future.
The hotel was located near ama hut, we stayed there for a night. Mandarin speaking staff was available in the hotel. Our room was great and of good value. The private onsen was available at a reasonable price. Dinner was great and we were able to try a lot of Ise lobster dishes and sashimi.
Less than 5min walk from JR station, nice after traveling extensively in Japan, and your feet is sore. My room has views to the Toba bay and the train station, and you can still hear the trains. I also think the tatami room is slightly bigger than normal. Across the street, there are these simple places offering fresh seafood meals, ideal for trying the seafood in Toba...
Rooms are clean and big. Hotel is situated on a small hill and far from city area. Quiet and comfortable for vacation and relax. Buffet breakfast and dinner are included with many choices.
Very friendly and helpful staffs. Location is abit far but free transportation from Toba station to hotel. Hotspring is abit old but clean. Dinner was delicious. We had a very relaxing trip
Pros:Lovely big baths on the 7th floor Good strong wifi signal in the room Free shuttle service from Toba station Good value for money Cons:An old property...the room needs refurbishment especially the sink area and the room seemed to have a lingering smell of smoke. An easy walk down into Toba but a difficult hike back up. The baths on the 7th floor are in different ...
The room is huge. I love that face that the room faces the sheltered bay.
Hotel had a very nice view of Toba bay. The rooms were big so it was able to accommodate our family of 4 comfortably. The hotel lacked a sense of coziness and warmth though. Maybe it was because of the high ceiling. The hotel had a limo service which was available from 9-12 and 2-6pm. They provided service to and from the train station. From the train station, on...
Our room with a private hot spring which is very good and relax. The room is comfortable and clean. The staff there are nice and patient to communicate with us since we dont know Japanese. Dinner and breakfast are included and they are amazing! It was a great experience to stay here and enjoy the hot spring.
i promise yasumi the owner of ryokan hanashinsui, situated in a fanciful fishing village. hotel offers a spectacular view of the mounyain chain & blue Ocean , perfect blend of relaxation and scrumptious local seafood, very much impressed with every family members staff' super services . there's nothing more i could ask for ......Good

Helpful staff nice in room onsen good breakfast
We are pleased to stay at this hotel , the free shuttle bus was big n the driver was helpful, he helped me to move my luggages into the mini bus . Staff service is good , Food n onsen is good , I like the public onsen area !
location (convenience) can be challenging for some, but it's great for those who enjoy driving and scenery. room got big window facing ocean below and islands/shore away, and you get view pretty much you expect from its location on map... it's the biggest treat of this place facility is decent for a little bit aged Onsen hotel, and it is more than bargain for its pric...
The hotel provided good breakfast and awsome japanese buffet dinner , onsen facility is amazing , you can choose either private room or public places
Clean, nice onsen, big room, good value for money. However staff speak very limited english
the hotel is good, excellent onsen hotel, both dinner and breakfast are buffet, very good taste.
I like the dinner in the hotel. It is very delicious and the staff will grill the seafood for you. They will also remove the shell of the lobster for you. :>
