Toba hotels & accommodations

Toba was my first trip outside of the usual "tourist" Japan, and it did not disappoint. The Hotel Int'l Shiojitei is a beautifully done place, with a clean, minimalist "vibe" to it, but with a touch of modern flair. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One thing to keep in mind is that in the area of Toba, Ise, Mie (nearby places you'll pr...

The hotel was located near ama hut, we stayed there for a night. Mandarin speaking staff was available in the hotel. Our room was great and of good value. The private onsen was available at a reasonable price. Dinner was great and we were able to try a lot of Ise lobster dishes and sashimi.

Less than 5min walk from JR station, nice after traveling extensively in Japan, and your feet is sore. My room has views to the Toba bay and the train station, and you can still hear the trains. I also think the tatami room is slightly bigger than normal. Across the street, there are these simple places offering fresh seafood meals, ideal for trying the seafood in Toba...

Pros:Lovely big baths on the 7th floor Good strong wifi signal in the room Free shuttle service from Toba station Good value for money Cons:An old property...the room needs refurbishment especially the sink area and the room seemed to have a lingering smell of smoke. An easy walk down into Toba but a difficult hike back up. The baths on the 7th floor are in different ...

Hotel had a very nice view of Toba bay. The rooms were big so it was able to accommodate our family of 4 comfortably. The hotel lacked a sense of coziness and warmth though. Maybe it was because of the high ceiling. The hotel had a limo service which was available from 9-12 and 2-6pm. They provided service to and from the train station. From the train station, on...

Our room with a private hot spring which is very good and relax. The room is comfortable and clean. The staff there are nice and patient to communicate with us since we dont know Japanese. Dinner and breakfast are included and they are amazing! It was a great experience to stay here and enjoy the hot spring.
