"This is my 4th stay at the Reaol. It is walking distance to the train station, connected to Sasebo Bus station and walking distance to shopping mall and Sasebo Naval Base. Delicious Japanese style breakfast. Comfortable rooms. May be tight for bigger people but for one person it is quite comfortable. Suites available for up to 3-4 people (my sons stayed with me one year)."

"This is an older but well maintained hotel in Sasebo Nagasaki. Price is a bit expensive and you're really paying for the location only. Rooms are spacious but decor is quite outdated and doesn't have a modern feel. But its ok since we spent most of the 2 days in the Huis Ten Bosch Park. We arrived via the JR Huis Ten Bosch Limited Express from Hakata Station to Huis Ten Bosch Station. From Huis Ten Bosch Station, there is a free shuttle bus to the hotel. The Park Harbor Gate entrance is just a 5-10minute walk from the hotel's rear entrance. Between the hotel and the park, there are already some restaurants which you can access. The only negative thing is the early check out (11am). But overall, can recommend this hotel since its very near the Park."

"This is a great choice if you're staying in Sasebo. The room was surprisingly large and well appointed, and it's close to everything. The staff was more than willing to help in any way I asked (learn a few words of Japanese and practice your charades skills. They'll work with you!)"

"Nice hotel centrally located. Two blocks from Sasebo train station. Right across the street from a bus terminal (with buses that leave every hour or so for Fukuoka airport if needed). City Bus line is one block away also for local bus transit if needed. I did not use these though since I did not understand the Japanese for the routes - but then again, I was not planning on a long term visit at that point. Also, the city is chock full of cabs everywhere. More cabs than I have ever seen on my few trips to Japan, so transportation anywhere is NOT going to be a problem. Hotel itself is a little on the fringe of the downtown shopping districts and "Sake town". A few blocks walk will bring you to the Covered Arcade with hundreds of shops and stores of all types. It was an easy 5 minute walk to get to there, so when I say "fringe", it is not meant as an obstacle. The hotel has a nice little restaurant on ground floor where they serve breakfast from about 7 AM in morning. It costs about 1000 yen. It looked pretty decent, but I did not have a chance to partake since my working hours excluded me from being able to go. Hotel is very quiet. The rooms are what you expect size-wise in Japan. Small but adequate. My only real complaints would be these two: 1) The TV only had about 8 channels and not much variety in programming. 2) The hotel has wireless internet connectivity. I had issues where it would drop off from time to time, so they really do need to improve that, or put a hard-wired connection in each room. Also, the wireless is really only adequate for basic browsing and email. Trying to download a large file takes too long. Other than that I had a very pleasant stay, and the price was fairly reasonable."

"I like the connection of the hotel with the theme park as we just want to see the illumination, see the flowers and take the beautiful views photo, and the hotel serve us all with the 1.5 days ticket. But the best thing is At Fukuoka, after I 've found that I left my beloved woolen scarf on the breakfast chair in the morning, my new hotel front manager in Clio Court made a call and they kindly sent it in time for me to took it back to Thailand.Thank you ! So don't ask me why I love Japan. "

"The room was very big in comparison to Japanese hotel standard. It was very well decorated and it was very clean. My favorite part of the stay was the public bath. The onsen was big and offered a few different baths as well as suana room. The facilities were clean and pleasant. This hotel is just opposite the Huistenbosch station and we could access Huistenbosch within 3 minutes walking. Very nice place to stay and it is not pricey for its quality stay."

"I knew the hotel had a great view when I booked it, but didn't realize how great it is until I saw it for real! After a windy long drive up the hill of Sasebo, the hotel owned the hill top with great view even from my own room. I was going to pick one of the few recommended locations to watch the famous sunset but after checking in the hotel, I realized it had the best view in the whole of Sasebo from its swimming pool! If you're a photo enthusiast like myself then don't miss this place!"
