Where to stay in Sasebo
Sasebo hotels & accommodations
This is an older but well maintained hotel in Sasebo Nagasaki. Price is a bit expensive and you're really paying for the location only. Rooms are spacious but decor is quite outdated and doesn't have a modern feel. But its ok since we spent most of the 2 days in the Huis Ten Bosch Park. We arrived via the JR Huis Ten Bosch Limited Express from Hakata Station to Huis Te...
I like the connection of the hotel with the theme park as we just want to see the illumination, see the flowers and take the beautiful views photo, and the hotel serve us all with the 1.5 days ticket. But the best thing is At Fukuoka, after I 've found that I left my beloved woolen scarf on the breakfast chair in the morning, my new hotel front manager in Clio Court made ...
This is a interesting hotel staffed with robots. Face recognition to access our room was an excellent idea as we tend to forget to bring our keycard. The checkin and checkout was a breeze. We wanted to ask about tour and was able to access hotel staff to assist us quite quickly. The robots could speak Japanese and at least some English and Chinese. Other guests we...
This is my 4th stay at the Reaol. It is walking distance to the train station, connected to Sasebo Bus station and walking distance to shopping mall and Sasebo Naval Base. Delicious Japanese style breakfast. Comfortable rooms. May be tight for bigger people but for one person it is quite comfortable. Suites available for up to 3-4 people (my sons stayed with me ...
This is the second time for me to stay in this hotel. Though a new hotel has opened in the park, I still booked Hotel Europe and it did not disappoint me. Apart from its convenient location, I enjoyed the pleasant services and the little bit of vintage feel which match quite well with the theme park. Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park that I would miss as it is well operat...
Two stories villa is quite spacious, nice to have a separate living room in Japan. Surprisingly staff does not speak English very well.
hotel armsterdam is the best hotel we have stayed during our trip in japan. if you are visiting htb then i will recommend this hotel. best location, spacious room, very clean and very friendly staff and last but not least yummy breakfast.
The staffs are friendly. Rooms are small (thats kinda expected of typical Japan hotel). Walls are thin, we could hear all the commotion along the corridor. Free parking is great.
The hotel is just a step away from sasebo JR station and as you cross the street the bus terminal is also just right there, that is why location wise this is superb. However, I don't like the very late check in at 4PM and early check out of 10 AM which is very unusual for most hotels Around the world. The staff are not kind enough when we have reached the hotel at 12NN...
Easy to go to Sasebo, Nagasaki, Huis ten Bosch. A long term choice if we want to visit those places. And, Near to some malls about 10min drive. Of course, you better drive instead of take a bus.
Nice price with great hotel facilities especially the Onsen. Able to see fantastic view during breakfast. Comfortable bed and clean washroom. But it is quite inconvenient if you want to have meals outside the hotel or park. You may need to go to Sasebo City for nearest restaurant.
Just across the street from Sasebo station, with easy access to shopping centers on the water and into the covered walkway. Very close to grab some delicious sasebo burgers! If you book with breakfast, the lovely restaurant serves an excellent traditional Japanese breakfast. It's a great change if you had a heavy burger the night before!
hotel is in a fairly nice location. it is a quiet location that is out of the way. the room is modest but very adequate. instead of a tiny bed the bed was a nice size for a single room. the video on demand (vod) was amazing. it seemed like it was hd and their was a large selection. when i find myself in sasebo again i will choose this hotel!
It has beautiful view and kind staff. If I have a chance to visit Huistenbosh, I will stay this hotel again. Morning spa also good.
I knew the hotel had a great view when I booked it, but didn't realize how great it is until I saw it for real! After a windy long drive up the hill of Sasebo, the hotel owned the hill top with great view even from my own room. I was going to pick one of the few recommended locations to watch the famous sunset but after checking in the hotel, I realized it had the best...
Value for money. Highly recommended
Situated very near to Sasebo station (about 5 mins walk), this is a good place to stay if you’re spending a day at Huis Ten Bosch, as Sasebo is much nearer to stop rather than Nagasaki. If you’re lugging a big heavy luggage do mind there is a slope about 70m heading up to the hotel. The room is nothing to scream about, however quite comfy for a night’s stay. Only a few...
The room was very big in comparison to Japanese hotel standard. It was very well decorated and it was very clean. My favorite part of the stay was the public bath. The onsen was big and offered a few different baths as well as suana room. The facilities were clean and pleasant. This hotel is just opposite the Huistenbosch station and we could access Huistenbosch within...
