"it's was a. good value hotel, in a prime location in muscat. the hotel was easy to find...we had driven from dubai. the room layout was good...junior suite. this allowed us to relax with a drink . the breakfast s adequate, without being super deluxe. the rooms are older, but well maintained, and totally adequate for the price. we would eryainly use this hotel again. it is not five star!!! it is a good hotel, without all the frills!"

"Hotel is in fairly good condition, rooms are large and comfortable, what they call a single bed is actually the large double or even queen size bed in UK standards :) their prices are by far the best compared to the hotels in this city and they top some big hotel brands in terms of hospitality and the breakfast is just amazing. We were a family of three adults and an infant, and the room was more than sufficient, there’s always fresh Arabic coffee on the tables at the reception with a beautiful golden Arabic style cups. We asked for hair dryer and an iron and they brought it to our room within minutes. We usually go to UAE but this time decided to try Oman, therefore It was our first time in Oman but won’t be the last time. Amazing experience overall. "

"Ibis muscat hotel is similar to most other Ibis hotels in other countries. It is not located at the main tourist belt though is near the 2 main malls in Muscat with food and shopping options. Taxis are available easily and staff are polite. A good option if you make Muscat your base before venturing out of the city to tourist sights out of town. "
