"Atria Hotel in Borobudur, Magelang, Indonesia should be a 5-star rating. This hotel opened in 2014 and sits just at the edge of town. Therefore, nothing is within walking distance, but the staff can call a taxi or you can hire a driver for the day - I would highly recommend this. The Borobudur Temple is not far, but you need a ride. Highly recommend renting an umbrella while you are there! As I said, this is a 5-star hotel and it is new. Everything is great! I must warn you that the breakfast was delivered to our room and setup - there was soo much food, we could not eat 1/3 of it! Serious."

"I think this hotel should be rated 3 or maybe 2. The poor neighbourhood might be the reason for 1 star rating. A few beggers around and people staring at us as white tourists. Overall I loved staying in Magelang. We found a small cafe within walking distance and had a cuppa and delicious roti cocolate (jaffle filled with nutella sort of). Wide pavements to walk on away from cars. We had dinner at an ECO park with only locals. It was quiet and nice outdoors close to yet another giant Bunyang tree with a fence around it. "
