Where to stay in Lombok
Lombok hotels & accommodations

I've had a look at most of the well known resorts and hotels in Lombok but this resort is the best in my opinion. The room was very comfortable with a spectacular view. Very peaceful and warm atmosphere. The food was amazing - I enjoyed everything I tried! Overall it was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I trave...

it was the best experience stay in Gili T, the staffs were friendly and courteous from the get go. They looked after us so well even after we checked out and head for our travel to Lombok. The place itself is secluded from others making it a great place to chill. The foods were yummy although the speed of prep kinda lacking, however one can't complaint when on paradise...

My stay in Ombak Paradise was absolutely amazing! -Location is great, very close to the harbor, around 5-8 mins walk, you can easily walk there with your luggage. -Near to main actions but still in a quiet spot. Beach front with amazing view. -Large room with lots of space, comfy bed, huge bathroom with hot water and bathtub! -They have the biggest pool in Gili air. ...

We stayed twice during our month long trip to Indonesia & it was great value. The staff were so friendly & took so much care of my son that we decided to stay back one day rather than go out. We are all vegans & Lombok is an amazing place for vegan food, for breakfast every morning they made us banana juices (water & banana) without hesitation, staff made every single ...

the hotel was new and very well maintained. all staff were very helpful and the meals were good with wines that were well priced when compared with other restaurant. the room was big.lovely pool, lovely beach..security is very well..the price in this hotel is very cheap if we compared with other hotel in lombok..lombok villas and resort i think have 5 star facilities in...

This hotel is the best so far for our stay in Lombok. It has good view and you can hear the ocean which is very calming. Located in Senggigi so it has nice beach and huge swimming pool for family. They decorated our room and treat us very well for our wedding anniv with voucher and small gifts. Breakfast was buffet so you can choose whatever you want. Internet was rea...

We had an absolutely great time in PinkCoco! The staffs were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. As we arrived earlier, they efficiently clean the room for us and while waiting, we cycled around with the bicycles provided . The location of the hotel is slightly further from the jetty, but it provides better view and privacy from the crowded beach near jetty. Do ...

We stopped here on the way back from Gili Air to south Lombok. Hotel location fantastic but Senggigi a bit disappointing. Got upgraded to a beach view villa with the added bonus of a jazz festival on the weekend we stayed. Great free entertainment although we did lose our beach view to the marquees and stages. The festival just happened to be right in front of our vill...

Only had one night at Avia, but it was a night to remember. The pool was very clean, staff always ready to help, the nightly barbecue offered big portions and the room as well as the private pool were very clean. The rustling of the thatched roof in the wind offered respite from the thumping coming across the water from Trawangan, but we were so tired and the bed was c...

If you are looking for one of the best boutique hotels in Lombok, I would definitely recommend this resort hotel. The room prices are reasonable and staff are attentive to your needs. Mangsit Beach is accessible near the restaurant and the sunset views are truly magical. If I come back to Lombok in the future, I would definitely reconsider another stay.

I had a perfect stay. Literally everything this resort did was 5-star. From the chilled mango juice upon arrival after a long day of travelling, to the warm smile and eye contact of every single staff we walked by. You see, I come from the USA. I am used to the highest living standard the world has to offer, so you can assume I'm very picky. During my stay here, there ...

After I did travel from Gili island , I choose this hotel for the last stop and this is my right choice ever! I was booked as a Neima ,when I came in the room ,is it so fabolous , all the photo I saw in here are true, well open bathroom , nice living room with many choices tv programme, the bed is awsome. First day, I was tired, so I stay in hotel's restaurant, althoug...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights over Chinese New Year. The hotel arranged for us to be picked up from our hotel in Lombok and we were driven then taken by boat and dropped off on the beach right in front of the hotel. It is in the quiet area of Gili T, but there are many bars/restaurants immediately outside the hotel and it is walking distance to get to the c...

Love everything in Jali, we arrived an hour early than checked in time and we were thinking just chill there till the check in time, didn’t expect that Jali offer us lunch because they kept us waiting for the room to be ready. So thoughtful and so nice of them. The environment, staffs, meal and especially the pool made my Lombok a five stars holiday! Will definitely c...

one of the best hotel in lombok, good for honeymooners. the hotel is very romantic during sunset. the breakfast is awesome as you eat right by the beach staring at the ocean. the massage is also good, the only drawback is that the hotel is not very private, there are many local merchant wondering around the beach staring at you and asking you to buy their product. ...

we stayed in the green room which is at the very last room on the venue. when we arrived, already i was so happy to see how reception area is built.it was like floating in the sky! staff and the owner were very warm and welcoming. the owner took us to the room and explained room facilities. *room* it was much bigger than i thought and much better than it seems in ...

Booked the Deluxe Villa- (twin bedroom - one single = 3 bed?) because it was private enclosed courtyard with garden pool. (and beyond all hours racket from Gili T) Didn't disappoint . Perfect, quiet, lovely, clean. Gili Meno not your standard tropical island- extensively damaged, large undeveloped areas, rural charm, nice locals, no cars or motors, horsey cabs. Priv...

I only wish I had booked two nights, I had only intended to stay in Mataram for 1 night and ended up booking the Golden Palace afterwards. I really can't find any faults in the service, appointment, look and feel of the rooms, the food was excellent, however different to my usual experience in Indonesia the portions were huge, I regret wasting some perfectly cooked fo...

I think this is the second best hotel in the island. Even though I found a scorpion in my bedroom. So please go on reading, because giving a score to a hotel in Gili is not a simple matter. Swimming with colored fish and turtles in Gili was one of the highlights of our Indonesian trip. Really incredible. But there's a price to pay: you have to stay in Gili islands, an...

First off: fantastic place. As there were no standard rooms available we got upgraded to a deluxe room at no extra charge. Nice clean rooms, with an extra little niche for luggage/clothes/safe, so that those things are out of the way. Balinese style outdoor bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Good air conditioning (although the one in room 8 is really noisy. When brought to th...

blending perfectly into nature, the jeeva is really a gem. everything is perfectly clean, and so comfortable and specious rooms. we chose the ananda beachfront, it was just marvelous to relax. there are plenty of quality lounge chairs, so you never have to rush oder even "reserve" one. the layout is so generous, you don't feel stressed even when the jeeva is full. a wa...

Our experience traveling in Lombok and on Gili was that it is still quite underdeveloped; things often don't work or break levels of cleanliness and availability of services and goods is scarce. Kelapa was excellent because despite the inevitable breaks in electricity (a full 2.5 days of no electricity during our stay, thanks God for their backup generators) and equipm...

Very happy with my stay here! It was as advertised and met my expectations! The design and layout of this hotel have been well thought out - great details. Best massages on Gili Air and great value for money - particularly with the 30% special they had running. Breakfast was good value however it was a bit slow to arrive - a la cart not buffet so keep that in mind if ...

We rented a villa w/pool, the best value for the money. So nice to just relax in your own room pool outside your villa. Room was equipped with everything, even a dvd player. Outside modern rain shower shower head. Free bicycle rental to all guests staying there. It is about a 5-7 min bike ride to the main road. The main mode of transport is the horse drawn buggies, so ...

Origin Lombok provided a fantastic service for the entire duration of our stay. The room was lovely and clean, with all the necessary facilities and amenities. The enclosed bathroom is absolutely perfect, containing a walk in shower and toilet, simple but with some nice touches to make it feel high end. There is also a mini bar, tv, safety deposit box and terrace with ...

After about fifteen hours flight finally we arrived in a nice place which we called paradise. Not only the comfortable room, petty garden and good food but Sheraton also have friendly, nice and helpful staff. We are very happy to chose the sheraton Senggigi as our hotel in Lombok and we will surely return back again.

We stayed for 4 days , this hotel is a fantastic hotel with lots of shops, restaurants close by , the breakfast was excellent ,and their evening restaurant was reasonably price with delicious food . Our sea view room was beautiful, the best quality about this hotel is their wonderful, professional staff . I had to deal with calls and emails from home as my bank card w...
Cheap places to stay in Lombok

This oasis in the centre of Gili Air has been fantastic for us. One of the best value accommodations of our trip across Asia, with a delightful pool and sunbathing area and free (and reasonable) breakfast. The recently built wooden bungalows were comfortable, with new mosquito nets and soft thick mattress beds on the floor. Wifi was generally excellent and staff always...

This hostel has the best area with hammocks and beanbags on the second floor also i can use the pool opposite the hostel. All of the staffs are very friendly I couldn’t feel uncomfortable during I stay in this hostel. It was really awesome place. I hope to visit again next time :)

I arrived for one day and I stayed a week! Definitely it's not the best hostel in "proper" terms, but Dika and his amazing family makes the difference and beats all the rest. Friendly, always smiling and willing to help. Also, in all those days, everybody that came were extremely respectful, and never made a noise etc. If you're looking for party, don't come he...

As a solo traveller i travel on a budget . I used to go to local gym once i get to a place ( and its a budget too ) so find accomodation who include free access to the gym is awsome ! Also the free breakfeast worth it ! I stayed in the cheapest place they have ( dorm with fan ) but everythinh was good value for money and clean . Also really nice people and staff there ...

As backpackers this was the perfect place for us to stay in Lombok. We opted for a aircon room at a little extra cost but it was so worth it. The rooms are newly built, very spacious, clean and have a nice seating area outside. The family were extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast in the mornings is a lovely touch, they served us pancakes with fruit with tea or ...

We stayed here for 3 nights, it was a great location just a 5min walk from the boat terminal and main area with loads of restaurants, bars and beach. Rooms are very basic but so cheap so well worth the money plus the breakfast was great too. Staff were very helpful, if they are not manning the reception of Syifa1 they are across the walkway in Syifa2. Always there to ...

Comfortable rooms, clean and air conditioned. Wifi is good. The guys working the front are so funny! Just love their friendliness and cheerful attitudes..they're always full of jokes. They're very helpful when it comes to ideas for what to do and see around the island. Breakfast is good, banana pancakes are very tasty. Would definitely recommend! Definitely book in adv...

This was by far the best homestay we have stayed at in Asia! The owners are so helpful & polite and made our stay wonderful. The location is great! It's just out of the hustle & bustle were you can enjoy a quiet sleep, but 2 mins do the path your at the beach! 😊 Free tea and coffee during the day! Tasty. & free breakfast in the morning. The banana pancakes are ama...

I stayed there during Ramadan and that is always a challenging time for the locals. Nobody was there when I arrived but the sister of the owner in the back gave me access to my room. It is a spacious bungalow with a bed, one little night stand and that's it. I received a big watertank for a very good price. The bathroom is small and very basic. You shower with cold s...

Diyah homestay is owned by the kindest family! They want to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are always available to help you. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is a standard Asian bathroom with the shower and toilet all in one room but everything works. Each room has a lovely little patio with Lombok bamboo furniture and it’s such a treat to wake up in...

This is a great place for the pice, and the staff are very nice, you couldn't go wrong with Indah Homestay. The WiFi quality is poor most of the time, but functions. You won't be streaming HD video, but you should be able to check your email and upload that work report without too much difficulty. Room quality is excellent for the price point, and the bathroom was go...

Helpful Mega, the young girl at the reception. Clean room. The AC is the best in town! Internet in the room is good. They serve you breakfast on morning and you can also use the outside kitchen to make your own meal. Free coffee/tea. Quiet at night. 7 minutes walk to the beach! Little con, your are not in the middle of the action, but with all the motorbikes here, you...

Stayed at Sendo Hotel Lombok is like stay at my home. They give best service with smile. Although Sendok Hotel Lombok is not star's hotel, but they will serve you like a 5th stars hotel. Best enviroment with small swimming pool and small park around your room will make you comfort. They also have best breakfas, not too much but satisfied.

Nice place and frendly oner. I Will Stay there Again. If you must buy a ticket for the ferry from lombok to bali. so be prepared to a bad trip. poor transfer bus on bali. total crowded 2 person no Seat. And time to kuta Bali normal 1 hour. But the transfer Ware hole Bali so 4 hours to kuta.

We booked ombak home stay for 4 days and we stayed 7 at the end, apart that everything is clean that have good ubication and that nothing went wrong what makes the diference was the people that works there, specially ewan, this guy really understand what means customer service,he is always smiling and helpfull,if you need something he will be always ready for you to help ...

We had a great stay here, nice bungalows with big bathroom inside, and as in many other places cold shower. Lovely views with and hammock outside, very calm and quiet apart from the mosque, but this is understandable being in Indonesia. Good breakfast and in general very good food. The staff is super nice, some nights they play music and anybody can join them. We wante...

We enjoy a lot in la Favela, the staff is very friendly and nice people, the best! Great environment, you can drink some beers in the pool. The rooms are clean, every day they do room service for change the towels and clean the flor. Is 10 minutes walking to the beach. Thanks so much we spend a very good time there

We stayed there two nights and Mohammed and his family were super nice with us. The place is simple but surrounded by a wonderfull quiet mountain landscape, away from town, you can reach the city in 10minutes by a scooter you can rent at this place. He is a really helpful and sweet guy.

This was just an amazing stay!! The staff is really hearth warming and helpful. Specially Dadi is always there and acompany you on your trips. The room and the bathroom are very specious and super clean. We liked our outdoor bathroom :-) Motor bike can be rented there for a cheap price. Breakfast is really good. We definitely recommend this beautiful homestay and would...

Pros: Nice staff, very spacious room. 10 minute walk to Kuta beach and there are a few restaurants and bars around. The owner also helped us arrange transport very last minute which was good. Cons: water from shower took ages to drain and you were given a thick blanket to sleep in even though it was very hot. Overall would recommend.

We chose this Homestay only as a transit point. And that's exactly what it was. The good thing is there is plenty of street food options around. The sheets were once used, the room was dark, the shower mouldy. Receptionist was friendly and took us to the airport (for the price of 150000 IDR), but we couldn't understand why we had to wait for the check-in time and sit i...

We stayed there for a night and the location is good. The hotel just near to the last stop of Damri Bus from Lombok Airport. Nearby hotel also got many restaurants and night life there wuite happening. Local food Ayam Taliwang is just cross the road and it is Halal. From Hotel just walking distance for 10mins to the Senggigi Beach. Breakfast prepared by them just a si...

The place is really relaxing and comfortable. Bungalows are perfect: big bed, wifi, aircon and outside seating area. The toilet room is huge and there is no roof on the sink and shower area. Breakfast included: tea or coffee, mixed fruits and pancakes. The owners are nice, friendly and open to make your stay perfect. It is located about 8 min walking to the harbour. To...

One of the best moslem friendly (halal certified) resort in Lombok. Beautiful landscape and architectural design combines with great Indonesian hospitality. It's a paradise on earth especially if you travel with children, there are tons of activities going on at Novotel Lombok. We stayed at the Villa for 2 nights, my only regret is that we should have stayed longer. We enjoyed every single moment at Novotel and the only time we went out was to have lunch at Ashtari. Check in was fast and efficient. The room was ready upo...

My daughter’s stay on Lombok during the earthquakes was traumatic however she said the hotel and all staff made sure she was comfortable and safe. Many thanks to all. However when trying to check in, reception were unable to find her booking and after contacting Agoda she was finally able to access her reservation. The booking was made 12 hours beforehand. All’s well t...

The moment we stepped into Jeeva Santai we knew it would be a holiday to remember. The food, service, accommodation and view are to die for. We always go to Bali but will change to come and try the Jeeva franchise in Lombok. Many highlights including happy hour's with tapas whilst watching the sunset and Mt. Agung in our sight. The friendly genuine staff make you fee...

We spent almost 3 weeks in Bali and Lombok, and our trip to Mahamaya on Gili Meno was the highlight for us for sure. The rooms were super clean, comfortable and a good size. The price included free bikes, snorkeling gear and kayaks, and an la carte breakfast was plentyful, and there was a buffet of fruit, yogurt, and Indonesian food if the a la carte menu did not sat...

It's about 15mins bicycle ride to the hotel from Gill Trawangan jetty. You may opt for a horse ride and might be faster. As we need to catch an early boat back to Lombok, the hotel staff help us to pack our breakfast. We rarely use the facilities around as most of the time you will be exploring around the island. Overall, we had a great and memorable stay at Gili Khay...

Pros. We stayed in a pool villa. Fantastic. Total privacy which is what we like. Outside grounds are expansive and well set back from the beach. Secluded. The beach is not perfect for sunsets but it has incredible views of Lombok, surf and sea, plus amazing morning light. Refreshing Winds in the morning too. Snorkeling was surprisely good. Easy and right there. Care...

Mola Mola is a fantastic resort! The location is perfect; I would say its situated on the best part of the island. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The free bicycles are a lovely touch. The pool however had a bit of a murky green color and not very inviting. Then again, who needs a pool when you have the ocean on your doorstep! Ample choices for breakfas...

it's located on the other side of the island ( acrross the harbor), bu this things will bring you to the best sunset view. my suggestion is to reach the hotel by horse cart and rent bike at the hotel to explore the island. my room was pool view, huge, with a day bed in front of the room, out door bathroom, break fast was a la carte and not so good.

the location near to mini market, chat time, and also near to shop who sale "oleh2 lombok" the room is clean, and we love the bed and also breakfast.. it's so delicious.. usually the food is plain in several hotel, but in aston is different. will be back again if we come to lombok.

Room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping service never cease to amaze us! They even help to tidy up the cable. lol Friendly staff always greeting us with smile. If you looking for the sunset, Aston will be your best choice. Free bike available. Horsecart to main street around IND150,000. Bike to main street around 20 minutes. Variety of buffet breakfast with Indonesia...

We had a great time at Kies. First booked three nights in a Deluxe Studio, which offers lots of comfort: comfortable couch, minibar, desk, a king size bed, outdoor bathroom with rain forest shower...and a lot more. We liked it so much so that we directly booked three further nights just on the arrival day. Unfortunately, the Deluxe Studio was not available anymore, so...

This relative new Boutique resort is an oasis located at the beach site of Sengiggi Lombok. Located about an hour from the airport in Sengiggi by taxi for Rp. 250.000. The place to be is the other side, Senggigi where the old airport was....

The location of the hotel is awesome. It's only 2 mins walk from the harbour. I booked a Seaview tent, but was assigned to a tent at the second row, where half of the view has been blocked by the tents in the first row. The water from the shower head in my tent was extremely slow and and the TV was not functioning. Fortunately the hotel staff was friendly enough to cha...

I've had a look at most of the well known resorts and hotels in Lombok but this resort is the best in my opinion. The room was very comfortable with a spectacular view. My stay at Kokomo was great! The staff were extremely lovely and helpful. The Kokomo restaurant has unbeatable views and it is a great swimming spot. I liked that Kokomo was far enough from the main hub of Gili T to get aw...

My husband and I stayed one night at the Tugu Lombok hotel and we absolutely loved our time there. The hotel is very unique and very exotic. Very nice & clean rooms. Warm infinity pool with loungers. It’s about a 5 minute bike ride to the beach / Main Street and the resort lends bikes for free. Also about a 20 minute walk from the ferry. A couple suggestions : the road leading up to the hotel was not very clean and we saw the same garbage on it day after day. Maybe not the resorts fault but still affected...

We are a family of 4 with 2 younger children. We wanted somewhere different as opposed to Bali, and this we found on arrival was serious luxury. As soon as we arrived the young reception staff, greeted us, and then swiftly escorted us to our ocean view room waiting for us. The next morning we awoke with a feel of being deserted on a tropical island, with only the w...

I didn't expected the room was very pleasant to stay. The villa is more beautiful compare to the photos in agoda gallery. My children love the spacious private pool in this villa area. We were missold this property as a "villa". Room type specified "bungalow" and the map says it is on south of the island. Real reviews for hotels
I stayed mostly at Gili island and its a nice place to spend 2-3 nights as the sea front is quite close by and beach are quite sandy and clear water so very good for snorkelling etc.
If you plan to go to gili trawangan by public boat (15,000 rupiah) per person vs speed boat (more than 100,000 per person), you can go to Bangsal by taxi (170,000 rupiah) from Mataram.
An Island rich in Nature. Beautiful Sun and Sea. Good place to be away from City life. An untouch nature that would be appreciated by whoever were to be in Lombok.
Not well developed yet. Good for those travelers whose looking for an uncommercialised spot for beaches, waterfalls and mountain hikes.
Lombok has many scenic beaches. It takes time to visit them one by one. If you have more time, try to visit Gilis.
Nice place for couple to enjoy their romantic time at beach or if you are looking for adventure, can do trekking as well.
Lombok isn't really big to be honest, you can definitely visit the whole island in one to two weeks. Depending on what you're going to do.
Beautiful Island spoilt by the locals rubbish everywhere, on the road side, on the beach, in the water.
The Best untouch area so far that I had ever visited. Beautiful Beaches Clear Sky and full of nature.
The locals from Lombok are beautiful people, 4 days just wasn't long enough. Can't wait to go back and see more.
Lombok is a not develop city, I am not recommend to go. if you are planing to hiking there may be a good choice otherwise go Gili.
Sengigi beach not recommend because Lombok is a non-delevolope place, I think there are not well for traveling.
perfect for couple who want to escape from routine & boring life and enjoy your private time together
Lombok is not a city, it's a large island with numerous settlements (it's actually 4 separate islands if you count the Gili islands, which are also "Lombok").
beautiful place for everything, diving, swimming, party, foods, hiking, everything is perfect.. the beaches are superb.
It is obvious that Lombok are now in the early stage of tourism development. There are much potential with is great beaches and clear sea water.
havent explore much this city, but if u stay at senggigi beach, must use car to go every where coz its very farrr
Lombok has developed well in the past few years. However need more places for relax. Please develop Lombok like Bali!
Lombok got so many things to offer. stayed for 4days and 3 nights but still not satisfied. food was awesome, people in Lombok is very friendly and polite, the magnificent scenery.
Nice island to have relax with family or beloved ones, kind of quiet place but it has nice night life to hang out :)
Lombok is beautiful island and very easy to go around with transport. friendly people and very nature island.
Lombok is very beautiful. But it's very rural. Don't expect to see another Bali.Roads are basically good and there is much less trafic than in Bali.
This is a review of Senggigi Beach area. Stay away. It's an over-priced, under-visited area, and the local peddlers won't leave you alone.
The city is worth exploring especially if you are into observing daily life of the locals, and the architecture of the Masjid (Muslim prayer place).
Lombok is less busy compare to Bali, hence a great escape for relaxing vacation. The island is mostly sitted by muslims, hence the environment is more subtle yet not ultra-conservatives.
Lomboks main sights can be covered in a few days. Dont expect the same tourist infastructure as Bali.
I would reccomend lombok if you enjoy beaches however there is not alot of sightseeing or things to do as in Bali.
Lombok is a nice, safe relaxing city with friendly locals. Not a party town, it's a good place to go as a solo traveller or family :)
Is a must to visit Gili Trawangan which made my holidays awesome. If you looking relax places, please do visit this Island
nice place go to mt rinjani, to sengigi beach see how beautiful star light in the night, eating cheap food, taliwang is the best in here

Island hopping tours are widely available, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore the stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters of the Gilis. Many tours include activities such as snorkeling, where travelers can experience the rich marine life and coral reefs that surround the islands. The tours often stop at various points of interest, allowing for a comprehensive exploration of the area.
For those looking for a unique experience, consider a private boat tour that allows for customization of the itinerary. This option provides flexibility to visit less crowded spots and enjoy the beauty of the islands at your own pace. Whether it's lounging on the beach, snorkeling in vibrant waters, or enjoying a beachside lunch, island hopping around Lombok promises unforgettable adventures.
