"If you need to relax from busy, loud big cities, go to IKI island. It is just an hour journey by fast ferry (Jetfoil) and few hours by the big ferry boat from HAKATA Bay port. Iki Island is small, green, the WASABI Hostel, run by two marvellous young people was a former traditional Japanese wooden house with sliding doors and Tatami floored. The view from your room is breathtaking; overseeing the harbour of Ashibe and the Japan sea. On the horizon peak islands from Kyushu out of the sea. Birds nest in the huge trees, you can stroll through Bamboo forests or ride a scooter and discover the many beauties this island offers you. Entdecke IKI. "
