"Booked a room a week before. While on my way to Baguio, hotel associates called to ask if I'd want my room downgraded due to water leakage caused by continuous rainfall. When asked if it's okay, I was hesitant at first. Who wants a room downgrade anyway? But they left me with no option. There were no other rooms available. It was a long weekend and most hotels are already fully booked so I agreed. They offered a free dinner of choice to make up for it. It's just sad I wanted a room with balcony. *sigh* Anyway, check-in and check-out transactions went fast and smooth. Stayed there for 2 nights. Beautiful facade and interior design. PROS: -Good breakfast options. Love their breakfast buffet. -Convenient location -Clean Room -Very Friendly and accommodating staff CONS -Limited Room Space (Swan room) -Restaurant/Café closes early -Sound proof is weak"

"Without batting an eyelash, Paladin tries and succeeds in approximating the hospitality enjoyed by Baguio visitors decades ago, long before the city deteriorated into a crass and congested destination. Being treated courteously and well by hotel staff in Baguio is now seldom heard about, except if one pays big money in five star accommodations. If only for the genuinely warm treatment, the price one pays for lodging at Paladin suddenly becomes reasonable. The thougtful amenities are also worth raving about. For a hotel of this modest stature, one gets complimentary bottled water, slippers, bathroom supplies and use of a personal in-room vault. The long ascent by steep stairs to the receiving area is a challenge to PWDs and certainly, to elderly guests. There is no other recourse for the receiving staff but to make sure they are polite and ready with smiles if only to soothe tired legs and frayed nerves brought about by that huff and puff climb. If only they could hasten check in procedures and not subject guests to an interminable wait as so many things had to be written down. Surely there is a more efficient, even automated way to give out breakfast coupons and get data from registering guests without making them wait in line too long. They need to rest from the long trip, or that staircase challenge."

"All the staff and personnel are very courteous, attentive and helpful. The service is prompt and precise. The lobby is simple yet elegant and very welcoming. I love all the furnishing of the room especially the tiles used on the walls and the bathroom. It adds to the clean and relaxing ambience of the room. Though I'm a bit disappointed with the balcony because it"s so small and the view is not really pleasant to the eyes. But all in all it's still one of the best hotel in Baguio at a reasonable price too. "

"Great location. It’s in the city center. Near baguio market and Harrison road. They’re very strict in terms of check in time unlike other hotels in baguio they did not allow us to check in even an hour before the check in time. It’s a smoke free property..as in no designated smoking area! Lol! if you’re a smoker, better find somewhere else. There’s no smoking area even in the vicinity."
