Location location location ”
Unbeatable location. Near the London eye, Bigben, Trafalgar square, the Strand and West End theaters. There's also Tesco nearby. Restaurants are everywhere. So many tourist spots within walking distance. 2 Tube (subway) stations are very near for easy traveling anywhere. The Embankment station also has the River Boat to cruise by the Thames. The hotel lobby has a free coffee machine as well as tea and hot chocolate.

Great Location, Cosy Apartment Hotel”
Stayed for more than 1 week during the Christmas week 2022. Emailed the hotel to confirm booking through Agoda before arrival and Hotel responded promptly. Booked a 1 bedroom Apartment, comes with a double bed and a sofa-bed with microwave and dishwasher. Sofa-bed not the most comfortable, but was okay. Room condition slightly old, with wear-and-tear damage here and there. Staff was superb and friendly. Free coffee machine at the lobby but unfortunately not available at night and machine breaks down quite often during our stay. Room heating was good enough, 1-time free cleaning is provided for any booking exceeding 6 nights. The location is great to access 2 subway lines and plenty of buses. Also walking distance to many London attractions, museums and places of Interest. Tesco, Sainsbury and local convenience store nearby. Plenty of eateries within walking distance too.

Would book again, and again, and again, and AGAIN”
This property sprung out among the list because of its high rating and fame among travelers. Now we know why - Location, location, location. It’s been 21 years since I last saw London. This hotel couldn’t have been more instrumental in making me fall in love with the city again. Literally everything was 5-10mins away. We were able to to see a multitude of attractions everyday via a multitude of transport ways (tube, bus, ferry were all within a stone’s throw). Staff were incredibly accommodating. Breakfast was simple but complete and delicious. Room was clean and functional with all the amenities of a service apartment. Truly a great deal for the price and the area of Trafalgar Square is a decadent choice. We had to move to a different hotel and although it’s also situated in a famous area, we couldn’t help but wish we were back at Citadines.

London Sightseeing and Theatre Base”
Citadines Trafalgar Square is an excellent location for sightseeing in London. It is close to Embankment and Charing Cross stations. There are many restaurants within walking distance too and the food at The Sherlock Holmes Pub was excellent. It is also in walking distance of The London Eye and lots of other venues along the riverside. There is also supermarkets close by so you will never be without food and drinks and that includes the alcholic varieties. We found you could walk to many of London's theatres or just walk up the road to Trafalgar Square and catch a bus. We didn't hear any road noise from our room either; the double glazing is very good. Our apartment provided everything we needed for our stay in London and the bonus was that there is a laundry room available on the Mezzanine floor. If I ever return to London then I would definately stay here again!

Great central London accommodation”
Extremely convenient location. Short walking distance to West End shows, Trafalgar Sq, Covent Garden, the Embankment and the variety of entertainment encountered along the way. Great choice of eateries and Restaurants close by. The Apartments were well designed for travellers providing kitchenette facilities and spacious accommodation. Overall Citadines provided us with the perfect place to stay whilst in London.

Fabulous hotel with lovely large & exceptionally clean rooms”
We had a great stay at Citadines Trafalgar Square, the studio room we had was on the 8th floor and very big with a lovely kitchenette, dining and seating area. The kitchenette had everything you’d need including, large fridge, kettle, toaster & microwave. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the main seating area downstairs was a lovely extra. Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming too. We found all areas including our room to be exceptionally clean and altogether had a wonderful stay. Thank you everyone at Citadines.

Amazing location, good sized room”
this hotel was a great base to explore london from. it was already close to a number of attractions such as trafalgar square, the national gallery, the national portrait gallery, and was also walking distance from the west end theatres, trendy covent garden and buckingham palace. if tired feet proved a problem the charing cross and embankment tube stations were both just around the corner which provided easy acccess to several different tube lines. the room was very clean and it was very convenient having kitchen facilities so as to save on food costs.

We had an enjoyable stay at Citadines Trafalgar Square. It is just a 2 minute walk to the tube station and is within walking distance to the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham palace, Chinatown etc. Theres also free coffee provided by the coffee machine in the lobby the whole day. Will definitely return back on my next trip to London.

Excellent place to stay”
We stayed 4 nights with my wife and founs this hotel an excellent place to stay and explore London. Its location is superb, near to the main attractions in rhe city, equidistant to all the main areas. Just a minute walk from an underground station, a few hundred meters from Trafalgar Square, easy walking distance to the Soho, Leicester Square. Free wifi that worked well. Helpful staff. Slightly more expensive than it is worth in terms of price but this is the general case in London. It is expensive. Some comfort details in the room could have been improved. We would stay again anyway should we return.

The Citadines Trafalgar Suare is perfectly located. Close to 2 underground stations, galleries, West End theatres, shops, cafes, restaurants & several supermarkets. We stayed in a studio apartment. Whilst not spacious it was perfectly adequate. Small kitchenette was a great advantage. Complimentary tea & coffee available in the foyer. Helpful staff. Have already booked a return visit.

I had a good stay at Citadines Trafalgar Square as I chose it precisely for its location - walking distance to two tube stations and numerous areas which tourists visit (Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Oxford Street, West End and so on). I felt safe as a solo traveller in this hotel, as you need a key card to access the lobby and the lift to the guest rooms. Room itself is basic - towels, shower gel and shampoo provided (don't expect slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste etc.). The toilet is rather small especially considering there is a bathtub and needs updating. However, the room size is quite decent for the price and its location. I stayed on the first floor (room windows facing Craven Street) so could hear noises from the street and traffic. Overall, I would consider this hotel again for its location, but would not expect much in terms of room comfort.

Fantastic location for everything”
this was my second stay at the citadines prestige trafalgar square and it is a perfect place to stay when visiting london. for two nights at £288 it is great value for money especially where it is situated on (northumberland avenue). on our visit we were lucky enough to get tickets to go and see the leonardo da vinci exhibition at the national gallery. trafalgar square was buzzing with people and had the olympic countdown clock on display where you can take a photograph. the nearest tube is the embankment and covent garden is just a few minutes away which was perfect for us as we went to see the amazing play of war horse at the new london theatre. on the saturday night we went to see apassionata horse show at the o2 and again getting there and back was no problem on the tube. we had breakfast at garfunkels which overlooks trafalgar square and is just down the road. they provide lovely breakfasts for two. we went there on both mornings and were not disappointed. i would most definitely stay again at the citadines.

Short trip in London”
My husband and I stayed here with another couple for 4 nights as part of a bigger trip of Europe. We booked a 1 bed apartment with sofa bed. The location is the best feature, right next to Trafalgar Square, close to the Thames and 3 different underground stations and walking distance to so many sights. We only needed to call them up once when we couldn’t figure out why we had no hot water in the shower but turns out we were using the tap wrong (left for pressure and right for temperature). They were prompt to attend and friendly. The only thing that let it down slightly for us was the sofa bed that was 2 single mattresses instead of a double but it’s redeeming factor was they were very comfortable. Otherwise the rooms were clean and perfect to use as a base while exploring. Breakfast is a little steep at £24 pp for continental but it’s London prices too. We managed to find a great cafe nearby that had a £6 full English breakfast which was great. All in all great spot!

I had a lovely stay at the Citadines Trafalgar Square. The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to by public transportation. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The price is steep, but comparable to other hotels in the area.

Great location and good room”
The rooms were small, but well-kept. The mattress in the bedroom was very firm and the pull-out couch was two twin-size mattresses instead of a single double bed. The tub drained very slowly, so it fills such that your ankles are covered while showering, and the doors have strong automatic closing mechanisms on them. The bedroom door had a magnet to keep it open, but the living room door did not, so we used a suitcase as a door stop. The location was excellent, half-way between Embankment and Charing Cross tube stations, walking distance to the London Eye, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again.

Great location, clean and excellent for families”
Location is perfect, walking distance to the Horse Guard Parade, Trafalgar Square, London Eye, Museum. Food and superrmarkets are easily available around the hotel. The room comes with kitchenette and all facilities are available within reach if require. Definitely will recommend to others.

This was a great deal; unbeatable location 1 block away from Trafalgar square but on a quiet street so no noise at night even with window open. also immediate access to 2 tube stops. room was quite clean and modern furnishing so no concerns there; size was appropriate for price; overall great value and would definitely look to stay here next time; this is what I want in a hotel; who needs bell hops?

The hotel facade looks stunning, it is converted from an old english building and the lobby area is beautiful decorated with french taste. The staff were very polite, efficient, friendly and helpful. Upon checking in in the morning, I left my luggage in the storage and the staff invited me a coffee at lobby. Everything were perfect except for the bed a little small and under my expectation for this price I am paying. Ibis can do better. The location is superb, everything withing walking distance, Thames River, London Eye, Big Ben, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Ocford Street, Soho, Covent Garden and of course Trafalgar Square. We will definitely stay again for the location.
