this is second times, staying in Citadines. Room is spacious and set up is same as other countries. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is 5-10min walk to metro station Shinjuku-gyoemmae, 10-15min walk to JR station Shinjuku.

Very pleased with our choice! The room was large for Japan standards and very clean. Lots of little eateries and convenience stores around. Abit of a walk to Shinjuku station but that meant it was nice and quiet. Super comfy beds.

I’ve been staying here pretty comfortably for a several months. Distance…. the nice distance from the too-busy Shinjuku central ad well as the subtle distance between the staff and residents are making the daily living here pleasant while unstable and insecure remote working is still on.

My hotel of choice in Tokyo”
Have stayed at this hotel now 4 times and other hotels 2 times and keep coming back to this hotel as preferred choice. Its quiet location spacious rooms and restaurants at its doorstep make it attractive. Its is a 10 minute stroll to Shinjuku station but the fact its just outside the nosy part of Shinjuku is its bonus

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. The location is a bit of a walk from the closest station (Shinjuku Gyoemae) but it's not a far one. If you prefer to be away from the noise, it's a great place. The rooms are very large since it's more of an apartment style hotel with a kitchenette so it's great for larger parties. Maybe a bit much for a solo traveler.

everything you need to explore Shinjuku”
The hotel is close with a station only 500m and next to 711 so you wont be worry for getting food and drink. Each of room occupied with a small decent kitchen. So you can cook especially when you done visit Tsukiji and bought fresh seafood. There is other Citadines but then this one location I prefer more since not really in crowd area. Value for money. Even I extended my stay here.

Staff are very nice and friendly. Rooms are well kept and clean. We stayed in the Studio double which was large enough to put 2 large suit cases on the floor open. They provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hairdryer, two toothbrushes and toothpaste. 6-7min walk to the subway line Shinjuku-Gyoemmae, however you can easily walk to Shinjuku in around 15mins which is a much cheaper option than taking the subway. It is a nice walk and you won't notice the length as you are walking through shops and restaurants. Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is also 6 min walk away. It is also a 20min walk to Korea Town in Shin-Okubo. If you don't mind walking then this would be a great place to stay. However if you want something more central then i would check out Citadines Central Shinjuku.

Good but not 4-star quality”
The Citadines was a comfortable and clean hotel that included a kitchenette and apartment-like living but in selecting this hotel, I selected it based on the star rating and after staying there, I wouldn’t have equated this hotel as a 4-star. I would rate it more of a 3-star as the amenities are equivalent to a little higher than a budget friendly room. The hotel is near a train station (Shinjuku-Gyoemmae) which is nice but it’s in a quiet part of town with a limited selection of restaurants/shopping nearby. It was fine for a stay to visit Tokyo but I had booked this hotel for Christmas with hopes of it being a little fancier for a holiday stay. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the hotel has a fitness center but their breakfast option is less than desirable with your choice of a type of bread and soup. Granted we didn’t pay much for the additional breakfast option but we didn’t realize the choices for breakfast items were so limited until after we booked the non-refundable hotel. To make matters worse, the staff questioned if I paid for the breakfast option when we checked in to the hotel even after I showed them my Agoda confirmation. “They would have to research it” was their answer when they reluctantly allowed me to eat breakfast. We opted to go elsewhere for breakfast the next morning to avoid issues and due to the choices they had for breakfast. Overall the stay was fine and maybe I had expected more from it being a 4-star hotel as listed on Agoda. I probably wouldn’t choose to stay there again because of the location being there was not much to do in the area but it’s not to say that the hotel was not a comfortable place to stay.

Affordable apartment hotel ”
Very nice generally, and even better if compared to the others either like fancy and very expensive one, or, not-so-fine or even just sad but still dear hotels in the city centre. I liked the kind and professional staff there, too. It's pity the charges have skyrocketed due to the Summer peak and Olympics’ officials massive inflow so that I had to check out sooner than I wanted.

It’s useful room I used first time that there is kitchen. I can cook meals when I want and that’s cheaper than restaurants. There are many supermarket. You get the Shinjuku station about 15-20min on foot. And shinjuku gyoen is close that you can walk and feel nature in Japan without state of emergency.
