Great Amenity, Good Service”
I have been living in this hotel for 17 days, and I can assure you the place is one of the best options. Even the cheapest room has a minimum space of 50m2 equipped with the whole kitchen, a sofa, a safe, and a fridge-freezer. The view from the window is beautiful. Staffs of the hotel are nice. The buffet service for breakfast is not the best but sufficient. Guests can also dine in for lunch and dinner. The laundry service is convenient but pricey compared to local facilities where works weigh the cloths. They also have massagers to door, which is unusual under nowadays coronavirus pandemic. One thing that confused me is that they delivered my takeout upstairs on my first day, but later they called me and asked me to fetch it in the lobby instead. Maybe they got lazy and did not want to do that every day. I know most travelers may stay in Lyve Inc, and a lot of friends of mine lived there, but I strongly believe this hotel is a better place to live.

Top 10 hotel”
I’ve been in more than 10 different hotels in Phnom Penh and this is the best one, for me and for my family (I came with my wife and my 2 years old baby) the top ten hotel. There’s nothing to regret, and for those who talk about problems here, they should talk with the recepcion because they’re really fast and 100% problem solving. I booked the family room, it’s amazing, it’s like my own house, with the kitchen, the sofa, paceful, much light, good air conditioner and nice bathroom. But the best of all here is the awesome and magnificent attention of all the staff, everyone speaks english, all of them understand us and treat us pretty nice, but in special and due her comely, fair and lovely attention Lun Srey Pech, who was every day in the breakfast time playing with my kid and attending us really well. I will come back here again for sure during my next visits to Phnom Pehn for sure. Thank you!

Great hotel within walking distance to several attractions. Clean, spacious room and very comfortable bed! Also, breakfast is delicious and they serve Mondulkiri coffee which is by far the best coffee we have had on our travels. 5 stars all the way around.

A Pleasant surprise especially when saw neighborhood. But this is Cambodia”
I was pleased with the room overall, clean, spacious and satisfactorily decorated. The whole place is as advertised in pictutes. The towels & bed linens were white and provided daily. Kitchen was a plus and as advertised had everything. I did not cook but microwave was used. Breakfast buffeted provided with hot a d cold. Omelets if wanted, juices,cold cereal and hot meats,etc. Disappointed with the restaurant's dinner menu which was basic & not much variety. Don't go by the online restaurant pictures, this was another hotel restaurant. I did not eat dinner at Chateau but did eat 1 night at the other restaurant,,Mealea. Awesome foods but high end. I would stay again if return to Cambodia. The view was to front with temple and Royal palace very close.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time as a family at Palace Gate Hotel & Residence. The staff and management are well trained and super helpful. They kindness was shown from the moment you walked in the door. Very professional in their work, courteous and kind in their service, and generous in giving our a free room upgrade and late checkout upon request. They decorated the room for my wife’s birthday surprise and gave the utmost diligence to ensure our enjoyable stay. Breakfast was delicious and have a lot of variety. You’ll enjoy this place. Very clean place and good breakfast ”
We booked a presidential suit for 3 persons. The apartment was very big, clean and comes with a kitchen. The staff is very friendly and kind. In Cambodia we had big problems to find good beds, this place has an amazing bed to sleep.

We liked this hotel so much we stayed here 3 different times during our travels in Cambodia, the rooms, with useful kitchenettes were big, with comfortable beds, pillows and linen, with nice spacious bathrooms with plenty of hot water. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the buffet, although a small selection of food, was adequate with good, fresh food. The only downside of this nice hotel was the pool, although clean with nice towels available, was an indoor pool that my 4 year old son didn't care for, as we both enjoy a nice outdoor pool. I recommend this nice French Colonial style hotel, and will stay here again

We got a free upgrade from a studio room to a king suite. When we discovered that the toilet did not flush properly, staff came immediately to investigate, and we were changed to another king suite on the top floor (9th), which had a nice view of the river. Breakfast was included and delicious. ALL of the staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful.

It was a really nice hotel, staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing, and the massages were great. Only thing my friends and I did not like was that we used some vietnam shot glasses we bought in vietnam and when the cleaning people came they took my friends shot glasses. It was returned but that was disturbing. Other than that, I wish they had small wash cloths and I dont get how this is the sister hotel to the palace gate hotel and we have to pay to use the pool. It should be free. Or a pass where you pay once for the length if your stay should be offered.
