Quintessential service”
The hotel is about a 9-minute walk to Shibuya station, and a few more minutes to the Shibuya Scramble (crossing) and many other attractions of the Shibuya area. We requested and were given a room with a view of Mt. Fuji, and the weather cooperated by revealing the mountain on our 3rd and 4th days. The service from top to bottom was absolutely impeccable. All staff members acknowledged us as we passed by, usually with a bow. There were multiple staff members directing guests in the lobby. I was always addressed by name when I placed a call to the front desk. And the housekeeping staff was always out of view but then immediately made up the room or picked up items left outside the door, like invisible fairies. The room was very tasteful, very functional, and very comfortable. The bed was among the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel. The coffee provided in the room came in a clever single-use drip filter and was actually quite good. I would say that only the selection of TV channels was lacking, and each time we turned on the TV, a particular button (in Japanese) on the remote had to be pressed twice in order to disable simultaneous translation from English to Japanese; the instructions to do this were not provided in the room, but a staff member came up quickly to show us how to do it. We did not take advantage of any of the restaurants, as they were moderately expensive; we purchased breakfast items from the Family Mart just half a block away. We did use the gym several times, and mostly had it all to ourselves. Access outside of a free early morning window costs a hefty amount, but signing up for the free hotel membership program provided both free gym access and a voucher to be used for laundry. The locker rooms also had massage chairs! This was one of our favorite hotel stays ever.

Great Hotel!”
This is a wonderful hotel. Starting with its prime location in Shibuya, going anywhere in Tokyo is very convenient as it’s only about 5 minutes away from Shibuya station. The staff was very helpful from check in to check out and any other questions I had during my stay. The best part was the room itself as it was spacious and clean with a Hugh window where I could even see Mt. Fuji from a distance. I especially liked the bathroom and it’s roomy bathtub where I could take a relaxing bath with complimentary bath salts provided by the hotel every night after a long day out. All the amenities this hotel provided were excellent and you won’t be lacking anything. There’s also restaurants in the hotel and even a 24 hour 7-Eleven located right outside the 2nd floor of the hotel. Plus, there are also plenty of places to eat right outside the hotel. Overall, I had a very enjoyable time staying here and I would definitely choose this hotel again for any future stays in Tokyo.

Perfect buffer to busy Tokyo”
We stayed here for 5 nights and had 2 rooms for 2 adults and 3 kids (2 teens and a 10 year old) for a first time in Japan trip. The hotel is high end business style, but friendly and perfect for tourists. The western breakfast buffet was amazing, but tiring after 5 days... though I am not sure what we would have done for breakfast. The rooms were perfect with every amenity (forgot a razor? hair tie? hair brush? toothbrush? no worries, all in your room). The staff spoke great english, even though this wasn't a Western chain. The views were amazing. If you aren't sure where in Tokyo to stay, Shibuya is good spot, though be aware that it is insanely busy and definitely exists on many floors... you sometimes have to go down 5 floors in a building to be able to get to the 10th... but the train station is convenient and the area is a tad less sprawling than Shinjuku.

Cerulean Towers is a great place to stay when visiting Tokyo. It is centrally located, close to the “action” in Shibuya as well as the train station, staff were friendly and well-trained, facilities were clean, bed was very comfortable, incredible views of the city and Mount Fuji from the top floor and from the executive lounge (highly recommend booking an executive floor room), delicious buffet breakfast

Perfect Tokyo base”
The Cerulean was ideal for our 4 night stay in Tokyo. The views are fabulous, rooms spacious and great central location in Shibuya. A perfect launching place to explore the city from. A short walk to Shibuya station and the famous 'scramble'. The hotel (& our 2 x rooms) was super clean with helpful staff. Didn't have time to check out the gym/pool but I believe there's an entry fee. The cocktail bar has incredible views and the cigar bar is a cozy spot for a night cap. We returned for 2 more nights at the end of our 3 week trip. Would highly recommend!

Excellent location at a great price!”
I took a double room at the 19/F and the view was not bad - got to see the people on the Shibuya Sky Observation Deck! The location was awesome - there is direct Airport Bus connection from the Haneda Airport to the hotel. The cost of the bus connection was only ¥1100! It was lame that the area around Shibuya station was under major construction and we kind of found it hard to find our way back to the hotel as we could not figure out how to get to the correct exit when we arrive at the Shibuya station - clearly that’s not within the control of the hotel! The room was spotless with all the amenities we needed - even bath salts were available free! The room was spacious and came with a two seater sofa and a large panel TV. I also appreciate the efforts of the lovely staff who made us feel at home. We arrived very early in the morning after a red eye flight and they took us in immediately without any hassle. To conclude I was very satisfied with our stay - I hope to visit again soon!

Location, views, comfort and service”
So happy to have scored a very good rate to stay at the Cerulean as it would normally be out of our budget. The location is amazing- 5 minute walk to Shibuya station and the famous Shibuya Crossing. The views across Tokyo are stunning. Rooms are quiet and well appointed with every amenity. We particularly loved the complimentary pyjamas to wear during our stay. Service was impeccable. Go to the top floor bar for a drink, it’s absolutely worth it. I can highly recommend the Cerulean Tokyu Tower Hotel and would love to stay there again on our next visit to Tokyo!

Cerulean Tower Tokyu in Shibuya is a fantastic hotel”
My wife and I stayed at the Cerulean Tower on our last night in Tokyo, after two weeks of traveling all across Japan, and it was exactly what we needed. Staying in our King Room felt like a vacation from our vacation. Breathtaking view of all of Tokyo, very high quality amenities and toiletries, as well as bath robes, and an excellent amount of space and comfort. To top it all off, the staff were incredibly nice and the location was perfect for dinner and shopping options. We'd definitely recommend the Cerulean Tower.

Lovely hotel in Tokyo”
Loved everything about this hotel - great room, big for Tokyo! But beware: do not follow the standard directions to get there (walking) from Shibuya Station or, assuming you are with luggage, you will be faced with a nightmare range of staircases. Instead, with your back to the JR Information office at the West Exit, walk straight ahead and cross the street (there is some kind of arch overhead). Walk up the street and take the first left (just slightly uphill). Turn right and keep going till you are parallel to the hotel. Now look for an ELEVATOR to take you up to the bridge over the highway. Go across the bridge and you are inside the hotel on the second level. From here you can easily go down to the lobby. Another tip: in the morning, get delicious coffee/pastry at the White Glass Cafe just behind the hotel.

King bed room from their more standard selection - very comfortable and surprisingly large corner afforded both views of surrounding neighborhood as well as Mt Fuji on clear days. Staff was kind and attentive, when checking in, desk agent realized it was my birthday while reviewing my passport - she stepped away briefly and returned with a small wrapped gift box of tea. Unexpected and a very much appreciated. Easy walking to all of Shibyua, yet just far enough out of the mix to feel calm when coming and going from the hotel. 7-11 just outside, and the added bonus of access to a very reasonably priced bus service directly from the property when returning to the airport (1100 yen fare). Only caution is if navigating Narita Express train to Shibyua, due to the construction in and around the station - as a first time visitor it was difficult to locate the correct exit from that MASSIVE train station, and then once outside, tough to get your bearings.

It's a brand new hotel, the service is excellent, they have lots of people speak in English or even Chinese. The hotel is located near the JR station. Many restaurants around the hotel. I will visit next time when we go to Tokyo.

Hotel was nice to accommodate my request of a high floor room. The room with Shibuya view was great. Room was well equipped. The staff were all so polite. As we got used to the location we find it pretty convenient though a little walk is required from Shibuya Station& Shibuya crossing. We enjoyed ourselves at this hotel.

True 5 star experience”
The Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel is located just behind the scramble crossing at Shibuya station. Location wise it is fantastic, as you are close to the action, but on a slightly more quiet street. The rooms are very nicely appointed with magnificent views over Tokyo. My room looked directly towards Mt Fuji. Wonderful to wake up in the morning and gaze out at Fuji from bed. The bed was so comfortable - one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on. After a long flight this hotel is amazing for a big sleep! The fitness facilities are great too if you want some down time. They are equipped with a gym, sauna, spa and pool. The staff were lovely too. Overall I was very pleasantly surprised by the standards of this hotel. It was truly 5-star, and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Tokyo.
