Cempaka Villas”

The location is so peaceful and lush and green. The weather is lovely, cooler in the mornings and evenings and not humid. There is not a lot of traffic or tourists. No hawkers and tacky shops. I feel this is the real Bali, the reason I want to holiday in Bali, for the nature, culture, customs, food and people. The staff are always happy, friendly and helpful. The cycling tour is the best way to see a lot of things around the area, a great way to meet the locals and see how they live and good photo opportunities. I also enjoyed the walking tour which was organised by Sarah-Jayne, this is a complimentary tour for guests of the Villas, you can choose how long and what you would like to see and do, also you can choose to go by yourselves or with a guide, my guide, Katuk had a lot of knowledge about the local area and you even get to try the food freshly picked from the trees. The restaurant drinks and food are outstanding, I highly recommend the chicken dish which is served sizzling on its own barbecue, it's amazing. A wonderful stay, for my first trip to Bali and my first accommodation.

Beautiful Countryside Hotel”

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. It is small, quiet and peaceful in amongst the padi fields and away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts. The hotel is built on the side of a hill overlooking some rice terraces. The grounds are well presented. We had the deluxe rice field view rooms which were of a good size with a great view. The only slight negative for the whole resort is that the bathroom was a little tired and in need of a renovation. The staff were all excellent, helpful and attentive. We went on the bike ride one morning down to the coast which was all downhill and easy and went through the rice fields and Balinese villages. There are 2 small restaurants outside down the bill to the right. However the food in the hotel is good and though a little more expensive is reasonably priced. It was surprisingly cooler in the evening and a light sweater may be needed. Overall we would love to stay there again

nice hotel, beautifull rice fields”

We stayed here for 3 nights. A verry nice place. Rooms are spacious, all with a own verranda. The valley veiw bungalows are more quit. the semi open bathrooms are a realy nice feauture. The surrounding country is beautifull, the rice fields (sawa's) we think are better than those of Jatiliwuh! Staff is friendly and service is good, a real nice place to relax for a couple of days.

we stayed 4 days in very quiet beautiful scenic surrounding. We had villa with valley view. It's a good place for hiking through the ricefields or relaxing at the swimmingpool. The restaurant has a good restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.

It's ok, but a bit old school...”

The place is ok, though beginning to show its age, and perhaps the new for renovation along more modern lines. Try Sanda Resort about 10km northwards.

Pretty nice villa near rice terraces”

Big room and bath, no aircon but I hear it's not needed in this part of Bali. Only downside was very slow Wifi, which can't even connect in all the rooms.

Nice stay at Cempaka Belimbing in untouched Bali location”

A nice stay at Cempaka Belimbing. Staff where very helpful during our stay as we where with our 8 month old. Although the weather wasn't great during our stay the hotel helped where they could with organising transport and food. Location is pretty isolated, untouched bali location, but enjoyable. Thank you.

Lo que por fuera parecía ser un lugar con encanto por dentro estaba muy falto de limpieza sobre todo el baño, las cortinas no se habían lavado en años y la alfombrilla de la ducha igual. Las toallas eran en lugar de blancas color pardo daba cosa usarlas. Cuando cayó la noche la vista al arrozal se transformó en un ruidoso sitio donde las cigarras y los pájaros no daban treguas, vamos que no dormí en toda la noche. Fuimos a cenar a un sitio muy cercano en la carretera donde por poco dinero cenamos de maravillas, a la derecha saliendo a la carretera.

La chambre sur la photo tres lumineuse ne correspond pas a la chambre que j ai eu.Pour 66eurosprélevé sur ma carte de credit avant mon arrivee j ai ete dirigee sur une chambre sombre tout en haut de la propriété a 100 metres de la piscine fraiche voir tres fraiche La douche etant a l exterieur alors que nous sommes en moyenne montagne et que le petit matin est frais j ai demande une chambre avec çlim car je nevoulais pas ouvrir les fenetres en raison des moustiques et les personnels a l acceuil m ont donne une petite chambre moins sombre mais peu préparée , menage un peu juste.tout en basde la propriété Le repas est servi dehors ,bon petit dejeuner mais prevoir un pull Eau tres chaude dans le jacuzi J ai regretté de ne pas avoir fait 20 km de plus et d arriver a la cote

Accueil moyen mais personnel sympathique au restau”

Très bien c'est vraiment juste l'accueil qui n'a pas été très souriant. Pour moi, il lui manque la clim afin de pouvoir réellement se positionner en 4 étoiles.

bien loin de toutes les autres villes environnement agreable (rizieres, nature) y aller une nuit un peu frais le soir visite guidee des rizieres et foret compris massages possibles dans l'hotel

Super endroit mais service perfectible”

Quel bel endroit pour cet hotel de charme . On est en plein cœur du Bali qu on aime Le personnel est tres attentionné Un peu cher compte tenu du confort " moyen" ex : pas d eau chaude et filet d eau sous la douche ! Abords de la piscine dangereux pour les enfants notamment

Bel hotel, un peu perdu”

rien à reprocher à l'hotelen lui même. en revanche, ne pas y passer plus de 2 nuits car les occupations manquent.il est un peu perdu au milieu des rizieres, bien pour quelques balades mais trop loin pour prévoir de visiter d'autres sites touristiques en y étant basé. par ailleurs, possibilités de restauration limitées aux alentours, rien de vraiment attrayant à une distance raisonnable a pieds donc quasi obligation de déjeuner et diner à l'hotel, qui, au demeurant, propose une carte variée et sert des plats succulents.

Deceptie”

Erg jammer.. veel van verwacht.. totaal niet wat je in Bali zou verwachten. Ik ben aantal keer op Bali geweest en weet wat er te verwachten valt. Douche kapot, ontbijt zeer slecht, had liever een simpel eitje gehad en fruitsalade maar dit was een soort van buffet met uitgedroogde pannenkoekjes. Erg jammer, helemaal omdat je weet dat dit voor veel Balinesen die er werken hun bron van inkomsten is.

Prachtige kamers en supermooi gelegen”

Genoten van de rust, de prachtige ligging in de natuur, het mooie uizicht met supermooie kamers incl. fijne veranda.
