I was stay in here just for one night. It's just such a budget hotel in heart of Surabaya. I booked the capsule express room which can only accomodate one person. The room was so small, maybe 1x3 meter(s). So, there`s no large space, only a bed and a corner table. The air conditioner was good and also the wifi worked well. There`s a free water dispenser along with tea and coffee. If you go around the hotel in the evening, there`s some "tenda kaki lima, we called it in Indonesia". They sell many foods and drinks so you don`t afraid about being hungry in the late evening

Its located in the center of surabaya city, place is very quiet, and staffs are very friendly, easy transportation, cheap and clean. Overall, its a nice place to stay for backpackers, the room is very small but its comfortable to stay. Internet connection is verry good.

Best price hotel”
I stay for 6 days total (1 day + 4 days + 1 day). I can recommended as best value hotel in mid town. Surrounded by local and chinese food restaurant. Surabaya city night live just one step there, I can hear their music from my room (at weekend only). Hotel's cleanliness is above average, all staff are friendly and ready to help although with limited english. All room are no smoking room, if you are smokers you must go to the lobby to smoking, accompanied with a lot of mosquito. Mosquito are every where include in the bed room. almost all room without bath room. Overall, I am satisfied to stay there, best value and location.

You get what you pay for!”
Considering we only paid a night for this hotel, we really shouldn't complain as everything else within a 10 mile radius is twice the price at least. However, it wasn't a very nice experience. The hotel is really hard to find as its down a strange side street with lots of garages. The room was tiny, but we knew that. Shared bathroom again was tiny but no problems there. The problems were 1) the stench of mothballs in the room even after we managed to remove them all (there were quite a few and everything in my suitcase needed washing) 2) the paper thin walls to the next room and the fact that there is a window pane at the top of the room into the next room so the light from next door shone very brightly into our room whilst we were trying to sleep. We needed somewhere cheap and cheerful for 1 night passing through Surabaya and whilst it was definitely cheap, we were anything but cheerful when we left the next day.

Positive: - Good value for money - Got queen bed in a room to myself but for price of bunk bed in dorm room at other place - provides drinking water at water dispenser - within walking distance (20 min) to Tunjungan Plaza 1 - near to local restaurants and many roadside food stalls - can take local transport called angkot (red van) to Pasar Turi near the train station by flagging it down when it pass by on the main road for only 5000 Rp -Friendly receptionist can help with calling bluebird (metered) taxi to your destination Negative: - Can't surf internet or whatsapp/FB etc cos the free wifi doesn't support my smartphone (I'm not local) but the locals all have no problem (buy local prepaid SIM card for foreigners) - The walls are thin so can hear people next door talking (bring earphones if the noise bothers U)

Shared bath feather seem causing the shower head broken. Water flows weak, shower head is kind of bloken causing a hot sweating day in Surabaya un bearable.

I just stay here a night for waiting my airplane. The room here is clean, the toilet is so small. Surabaya is a noisy city, it's hard to call a taxi while you are in street

Great place for a night or two!”
This hotel was cheap and cheerful. Yea, it was small but I knew that and who stays in their room for too long anway? It was clean and well maintained, had excellent aircon and wifi and once you find it (it is a little tricky to find but by no means impossible), it is very well located and near to many lovely local restaurants - the security recommended a place to eat and it was great!

Cheap overnight stay”
Capsule rooms are small, of course. The bed is made from a piece of wood with a thin piece of foam over the wood. Very uncomfortable. People smoke in the capsules, which creates a horrible stench. There was a large open "window" above the door that faced the hallway, which made the capsule noisy all night. The "window" allowed light into the room so it was never dark, allowed bugs into the room, and let the A/C escape.

Capsule hotel is a small-compact hotel, located near the famous Rawon Setan place, and just few minutes away to Tunjungan Plaza. The hotel is okay, not to good - not to bad. An ideal place to resting after whole day explore the city. Don't worry of getting hungry in the middle of the night, food vendors are everywhere!

Quick stay but comfortable”
I only stayed for couple hours for my connecting flight. Centrally located and easy for me to do things in the city. It was just the share bathroom that annoys me a little bit but it was fine, no big deal. Getting in and out of the hotel, you have to get the hotel staff to open the door for you. It's actually a 3 story soho that's turned to be a simple home stay.
