"The staff at Fort Aguada are very friendly and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help you. I had a deluxe sea view and the room was nice but smaller than I would have expected. Another downside of the room was that it had an adjoining door. Definitely request a room without this. I could hear everything in the other room. I asked to change rooms but they were full the whole time I was there. Also, ask to be away from any stairs. It wasn't as quiet as I would have liked. The bed was a little harder than I would have liked, too. I don't want to give a bad impression. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would stay again. The breakfast buffet was quite good with many options. I hired a driver a few days to take me sightseeing and I found that price to be reasonable. However, I did find it overpriced to get a quick drop down to the main area of Candolim. "

"We found Seashell to be a very good resort and the entire family relished the time spent. The resort is well maintained and very clean. The staff is friendly, warm, helpful and attend to any requests promptly. The resort is very close to Candolim beach, which is five minutes walk though the walkway could be better maintained. The beach itself is not crowded, so it's almost like having a private beach. The breakfast was good. The swimming pool is enjoyable. There's a parking space at a short walk in case you choose to drive or hire a car. The rooms are spic and span and facilities were good. There's no entertainment other than swimming pool though and the pool may get crowded at times, so you need to plan that out. The resort is very quiet, which I liked coming from a busy city life. You would hear birds chirping in the morning, which reminded me how far we are removed from simple things in life. Overall, a great place to stay."

"A great place to have a quiet weekend.Value for money. Located slightly inner from the bustling candolim street giving you the silent and soothing environment for people to relax and stretch their legs from their over stressed life.Just 2 min walk to the main road of Candolim.A very friendly and courteous staff right from front desk to housekeeping.24x7 restaurant is always ready to feed you when you are hungry. Just a 5 min walk to the beautiful candolim beach which still maintains the silent beauty with good family crowd coming to the beach and not over crowded like calangute. Travellers who like to explore Goa can hire 2 or 4 wheeler just outside the hotel. A perfect place to laze and enjoy the weekend."

"This was my first visit to goa, that too along with my wife, 2 year old kid and in laws. The resort is located right beside a calm and quiet beach (candolim). The back gate if this property opens to candolim beach, which suits travellers who likes to relax a bit (beaches like calangute and baga are always crowded). I took the standard AC room which cost me around 4.7k per room per day including taxes. It is quite large as per my standards, total around 300 sq ft, has a large family cot, AC, television, fridge with some beers and wines (mini bar), small kitchen with complimentary mineral water, provision for making tea, coffee etc including coffee maker, sugar, milk powder, tea and coffee powder. All these are free except the minibar items. They have a small restaurent in house (expensive) and a large shack called Calamari at the back gate in Candolim beach, which gives 15% off to the resort residents. Price is similar to the in house restaurent but they have a larger menu."

"The Holiday Village is very beautiful and peaceful place. I love the location just at the end of Candolim beach. The view of the ocean is spectacular. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. I wanted to spend a few hours on the beach after I checked out and they looked after my luggage and lent me a towel. I would definitely stay here again. "My stay at Golden Tulip Goa, was wonderful. Great value for money. The hotel was clean, modern, and all round comfortable stay. The breakfast variety was fabulous, and was different every day.Kudo's to the staff that were friendly and helpful to enlighten us around the sight-seeing in North Goa. Especially: Gayathri. I was there during the taxi strike, and was happy to be around Candolim as well as the hotel for the 2 days till the strike was over. The beach was just 2km away from the hotel. Room for improvement: Maybe up the room price abit, but have free Wifi, especially in common areas. As relayed to the manager, the Spa needs alittle work regarding their techniques. I used this once, but found it was better at Spa centres close to the hotel. Thanks Golden Tulip Goa for an amazing stay and look forward to visiting you again. "
