Newest hotel @kaliurang, clean, very kindness and responsive staff. Maybe we are the only guest who requested a down grade booked type of room from junior suite (cause the view its wall, my expectation the view its garden or mountain) to the deluxe king no.219 (better than wall... view its parking and NO Mini Bar), because view is our destination beside the facilities, if i pay more. Suggest, booked the deluxe twin if you come with 2 kids, cause the bed is huge. Sky pool, cannt swim well.. cause the water its to cold and a little bit dirty about the dust from the eruption of mt. merapi. So many choose for breakfast, and i really like "Ketupat Idul Fitri include Opor and sambal goreng" and also Jamu !!!.... The staff very helpful and friendly. Will be back again and thanks for the compliment given to us.

Stay here for 1 night with my cousin, didn't regret it at all. Was reading all the reviews before we go and found some unpleasant guests comment, yet we didn't find it totally true. Staff was friendly and very helpful, they organize everything for us without any hassle before and upon arrival. Best part is, out of surprised they upgraded our std room booked to a villa, yay! We did take a look at the std room while wandered around and appears it was a new minimalist style building which is also nice to stay at. Room was clean and beds are comfortable. You can also book the Merapi Sunrise Jeep Adventure Tour with them, the jeep trail is very closed. If you plan to do this tour and to visit Borobudur Temple just book here for shorter transfer time. Foods are delicious. We ordered room service for dinner and breakfast and both delivered on time! Very quite location which is perfect for our getaway plan. Not sure in the summer, but it was cold there though not too freezing and you can feel the fresh mountain air. Overall, we are happy to recommend this place to fellow travelers :)

- We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite, which was quite large with two queen-size beds. There is a dining table and proper fridge, with reasonably priced beverages. - The suite comes with a jacuzzi, but it was not working due to the low water pressure. The kids were still excited as it served as bath tub. - Room comes with large portions of your choice of local breakfast. - Staff are friendly and provide prompt respond to requests. Property is peaceful, even with the pets (dogs, ducks, goat) roaming freely. - Recommended to explore the surrounding Kaliurang area as there is nothing much to do around the hotel. A bit on the minus points: - No telephone in the room; needs to walk to lobby to ask for services or information - Don’t expect too much from the small swimming pool.

I was excited to see Villa Padi, covering at least a hectar of land belong to just my group and I. Our group of 8 enjoyed every bit of time in the private pool provided and we cooked in the kitchen. Akit, the receptionist was very attentive to all our requests. This Villa deserves more positive reviews. The down part of Yogyakarta is sightseeing sites are far from each other.

Ricerside is a hidden gem located 30-minutes driving from Jogjakarta city center. The property is lovely, in natural surroundings, facing to Boyong river. In the night is silent and the sky is full of stars. I stayed in the tomantic cottage, ehich is perfect for a couple weekend getaway. I definitely recommend the place for those willing to escape the city. If I can suggest I would add more choices at the restaurant, as in the area there is no option for food.

Amazingly incredible. Good value for money, get free shuttle, free breakfast (although it is only fried rice-delicious one though!), very helpful and serving all of our needs. They take care of everything from amenities, hot water, midnight hot snack, motorcar rental and also Lava Tour order. They're great! taking care of our transportation from Yogyakarta to Kaliurang vv WHen we staying there, the other 2 rooms is unoccupied, so we have this Villa for our own. Lovely. Unless you really love night life with nature, please don't be rush to come here as no night life entertainment around after night falls. SOme food stalls open nearby Taman Kaliurang nearby hotel but that's it. Afterwards, not much you can do but rest. Tv station had no cable channel so only some local television channel were available for us to watch. The rest of our stay is great. Breakfast ready on time, Lava Tour shuttle ready on time, we get complimentary late check out untill 1 pm, and most of all, this villa is well maintained though need some maintenance on toilet, very great on assisting us! Definitely will come back with more friends here.

I booked a standard room for one night only. The hotel is nice, located 22 km from Yogyakarta. It is located near Kaliurang at the slope of Mt.Merapi, so the air is cool and fresh. Transportation after 6 pm will be a problem if you do not bring your own vehicle. The standard room is very small, but is quite clean. The basic toilettries are provided. The staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is modest, they serve fried rice delivered to your room. For this price, I would recommend it to anyone that is not into nightlife and prefer quiet moment of rest.

The stay in this hotel is very comfortable. We were adult travelers on holidays, so only come back to the hotel to sleep. Beds are big enough to accommodate us comfortably. Clean room and friendly staff. Great view towards the hills, we can sit on the balcony overlooking nature and sipping our hot tea in the morning, very nice. Overall good hotel if you are just going to sleep after a full day outside sightseeing.
