Budget hotel near Malioboro”
The Blue Safir Hotel is one of the recommended hotel to stay in when you visit Yugyakarta. It's location is only in a walking distance to Malioboro street. The food stalls are easily to find around the hotel, so you won't have problem when you feel hungry. I may consider to come back for my next visit to Yogyakarta.

near the location of crowds but not money worth”
Our room in Blue Safir was very small as we're traveling with 2 kids. The room more like a hostel to me. The bathroom smelly and the toilet flush not working properly. as we're traveling during Idul Fitri Holiday, the rates was unbelievable expensive comparing with the room we get. no elevator and not enough space for the luggage than better keep the unused luggage somewhere else. This hotel has a balcony with road view, quite nice to stay there at night time.

A hotel where you just need a rest for the night”
The room is small - just sufficient for a king size bed. I was much surprised that the glass window was just behind my bed which led to a corridor - just a curtain to protect modesty or privacy. The toilet was the smallest I've ever seen as I could hardly fit in the toilet bowl area. This could be improved slightly if the partition between the shower area and the toilet bowl area is removed. Bad design because there is no place even to fix the toilet paper holder in the mini-cubicle - it was placed beyond reach of anyone using the toilet bowl. My aircon remote was bandaged and unusable (I used my nextroom partner remote to switch on). Surprisingly the phone in the room cannot be used to call outside - you have to use your own phone to call a taxi or make any local call. The staff though friendly and helpful appear to be uncoordinated and untrained. Confirmed with the receptionists in the morning we could check out later because of our flight schedule, but when we returned after noon, was told we had to check out (the room keys were invalidated). We agreed to check out immediately, requesting for time for a quick shower and packing. Staff was apologetic enough - less time to enjoy Jogja and more time to waste at the small airport. Positive things : kettle for boiling water with coffee & tea bags, hot water shower and a small corridor looking down the street below with sofa chairs for lounging. If guests just take this hotel merely as a place for them to rest their tired feet and a night sleep, all those negative aspects would be negligible for a man. But for a woman or your wife, I won't surprised if she should raise hell with you for booking this "boutique hotel"!

Malioboro Area is a nice place to stay”
The hotel located in Malioboro area, which is a nice place for shopping and night entertainment. Unfortunately the quality of the service, cleanness of the hotel, quality and variation of the food served for breakfast is below standard. I do not want to recommend this hotel for people that travelling for leissure and looking for comfort rooms and nice service.

The hotel is quite a standard hotel, the location is OK, the services is OK, not extraordinary. Other thing is standard also, in other word, you got what you pay. Just in case you go to this city, this hotel can be one alternative. The price is also standard. I will try another hotel if the other have a better offer.

only good for location & wifi”
The extra bed i order is under expectation. Instead of giving extra BED, the hotel only provide mattress with bedsheet. The toilet is not clean and no shampoo/soap given. We stay for 2 days but they did'nt clean our room the next day. The only good for this hotel is the location which is near Malioboro Street & the wifi provided. I may choose other hotel for my next visit to Jogja in the future.

Pros: Strategic location. Staffs were very warm. Extra pillow was free. Cons: when entered the Suite Room,we are very surprised with the size of the room. And also many hair in room floor. They were not well prepared. No towel, Empty soap, no slipper when we were checked in. and still no slipper until checked out. Bathroom need to be upgraded.
