Great Location”

Baruna Cottages are located right next to lake Batur away from other touristy areas. Great views and great location. The rooms are basic but good enough for travelers who are interested in exploring or trekking in this beautiful area. We were a small group who booked 3 rooms. The beds were comfortable, there was no hot water but it didn't matter to us as we only stayed one night. The staff were great, limited english but we managed to communicate reasonably well enough. The staff organised transport to a local restaurant for dinner with Puta who was very helpful. Included breakfast is either a tasty egg omelette or pancake with coffee or tea. If roughing it a little doesn't bother you, I'd highly recommend Baruna Cottages, go along with a relaxed attitude and you'll enjoy.

Interesting Experience”

simple accommodation and a little over priced for comparative monies in bali... especially the standard of food on offer. however the staff are very helpful and the location and view is second to none right on the lake. pay a little less and this would have been a good stay.

Cozy hotel with friendly staff”

Though our stay here was a little more than a day, we enjoyed to convenience of the facilities at the hotel which had a restaurant, pool and also rental services of motorcycle for visiting places nearby at our convenience. The staff was also very helpful in guiding us around and taking care of the needs. The only small glitch was that the shower in the room had its drain clogged. I hope they fix this soon.

Perfect location but very poor service ”

1- it's very overpriced 2- the water is not powerful at all and the water doesn't go down in the bath 3- we ordered massage bc they said it was excellent: the worst massage or our lives performed by the woman who work there 4- the pancakes in the morning: not cooked twice 5- very poor english of the staff 6- very very dirty kitchen

No facilities (only soap), no hot water, no compliment drink, dirty room, dirty bed sheet& blanket, no security staff, no gate. Location of hotel is scarring at night with limited lamp but nice view at morning.

Do not stay here! The only thing that is good is the view. The location is isolated off a broken road, the bed is very loud, the sink and toilet were broken, they advertise a king bed but there isn't any on the property, tried to get relocated with Agoda but the owner wouldn't answer the call from customer service so we were stuck there.

Faites attention au serveur qui se prétend peintre et tentera de vous arnaquer en vous vendant comme étant les siennes, des peintures en série disponibles à chaque coin de rue dans la région pour 1-2 $. La qualité des différentes chambres est variable. Nous n'avons pas été dans les bungalow.

Séjour court d'une nuit, mais on ne serait pas resté plus longtemps. Les lieux semblent abandonnés et datent des années 70. Draps confortables, moustiquaire troué, serviettes tachées, bref.Ne pas avoir des attentes élevées. Cuisine sale mais nourriture succulente.

Le patron est très disponible. Il nous a trouvé un taxi avec qui nous avons renégocié le prix 200 IDR Aller retour de Baruna Cottage au volcan. nous avons aussi négocié le prix pour notre famille : un guide pour quatre soit 350 IDR + 10 IDR par personne pour l'ascension du volcan et le retour soit 390 IDR prix fixé à l'hotel et versé au bureau des guides avec le reçu donné sur la place...

Emplacement idéal mais installations défaillantes”

Vu imprenable sur le lac et le batur mais installation défectueuse (eau)et pas de service dans les chambres, personnel agréable mais prix des repas élevés du fait sans doute de la situation géographique

très surpris en arrivant car nous avons payé et nous aurions du avoir la catégorie inférieur. vu que l'hotel été vide nous avons négocié la catégorie supérieur,qui est en auteur avec vu sur le lac. bungalow tout en bois,en bas:salle de bain extérieur et wc,la chambre est a l'étage,on monte a l'échelle(en bois) et referme la trape. c'est pas mal,typique,mais le prix est abusé.pour moins cher a ubud,on avais un resort avec piscine a débordement et un staff énorme et petit déj énorme. la le petit dej c'est un panckake et un thé(avec ou sans fourmis) n'hésitez pas a visiter le village,les gens sont charmants et faite le trek sur le mont batur,c'est génial avec le levé du soleil

Gut um am Folgetag den Vulkan zu besteigen”

Sehr viel Abfall vor der Hotelanlage. Teilweise hat es sehr stark gerochen! Herzliche Betreiberfamilie, eine Nacht reichte aufgrund der sehr einfachen verhältnisse aus.

Gute Lage, um den Mount Batur zu besteigen.Das Bad war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, schlecht beleuchtet in der Lumbung. Ziemlich runtergekommen. Zum übernachten hat es gereicht. Die Matratzen waren super.
